~ Witchers Never Smile ~

"Have I entered an alternate universe or did you really just crack a smile for me?"

"Hmm," Geralt replied, frowning as dramatically as possible. "Must be the alternate universe."

"You did smile," Jaskier insisted.

"I have never smiled even once in my life," Geralt deadpanned.

As the bard continued to argue that the witcher had indeed smiled at him, Geralt contorted his face into a more and more dramatic grumpy expression, until he was scowling so hard he'd turned his bottom lip inside out.

"Your face is going to get stuck that way."

"Good."

"Okay, fine!" Jaskier finally conceded. "Witchers don't have emotions and they don't ever smile and I will never mention it again. Just stop making that face at me!"

The bard wandered off the road ahead of his companions, and Geralt's face immediately went back to his normal just-slightly-grumpy expression.

Roach snorted and headbutted the witcher's shoulder lightly.

"Well, I'm not telling him I was smiling because he didn't notice you farted on him!" he said to his horse.
