As Rwby grew up the way her semblance manifested was… unique to say the least. She hadn't even given a full explanation to her family and the only thing that they knew she could do was use telekinesis on anything she can see. It wasn't the best at precision, but it was able to directly interact with a person or grimm so what it lost in utility it more than made up for in combat capability. Also even though it wasn't overly precise she was still capable of manipulating things to a rather impressive degree. However, unknown to her family this was a power that only resided in her right eye and she had more than two eyes. She hadn't tested it too much, but she had managed to use her left eye to disable aura and turn off her sister's semblance. Not very useful to a girl whose dream was to fight Grimm, but still good to know. Still with how little she has tested it the only other thing she knows for sure is that it will interfere with her right eyes telekinesis.

This wasn't actually the limit though and she had more than two eyes. When her semblance first awakened she had felt something strange on her back and that night as she was changing she noticed the tentacles on her body, each with an eyeball on the end. Ruby had barely been able to hold back from screaming, but almost instinctively she knew what each was capable of or at least what their names were. Given the flexibility of the tentacles and how easy it was to manipulate them and stretch them instead of a position Ruby chose to number them.

Stalk 1 she knew is a charm ray, but hadn't actually tried it on anything, but grimm. Unfortunately, it seems this was the kind of thing that would only work on humans and faunus, maybe animals, but grimm had no capacity for being 'charmed' by her.

Stalk 2, unlike the charm ray this one definitely worked on Grimm and a bit of testing showed that its duration depended largely on the size of her target. A beowulf would on average be paralyzed for a full minute, while an Ursa was held for 50 seconds. Ruby hadn't met one by now, but she could assume that a nevermore would only be held for 30 seconds and ditto for a Goliath.

Stalk 3 is a fear ray and testing it didn't manage much as the Grimm do not feel fear. It wasn't something she was willing to test on other humans either so what it would do is not something Ruby knew as of yet.

Stalk 4 was once again rather useful if she could use it sneakily. It was capable of slowing her opponent by about half when she used it on them. Unlike with stalk 2 this one just kept its target at that speed for a full minute every time she used it. Maybe it could be overcome by some grimm, but for now it was good for dealing with bigger targets who wouldn't stay paralyzed for long.

Stalk 5 had confused Ruby for a while as she didn't know what the word meant. Testing it on Grimm had been rather disturbing however, the beowulf who had been charging her had slowed, stopped and became emaciated. Ruby didn't think that Grimm even could end up like that and when she asked her uncle he had confirmed her original worldview and yet here was a Grimm that was for all intents and purposes dead. Ruby waited for a minute to see it would get better, but after waiting ten minutes the best she could assume was that it would not be getting better and so she finished it off before leaving.

Stalk 6 was better, but still useless against Grimm as it put people to sleep. After confirming the common knowledge that Grimm do not require sleep Ruby has only ever used it when her sister was having trouble sleeping.

Stalk 7 was a bit weird. What it does was rather easily tested as when she tried using it on Grimm they turned to stone. From what Ruby could tell they weren't able to get out of it themselves and she had decided to not use it when she activated her left eye's power. This freed the Grimm much to her own surprise, not that they stood a chance anyway. Still it would be useful to use if she ever let others know about this.

Stalk 8 was one of the most devastating she had. When Ruby used it the Grimm she was targeting disintegrated, as did the tree it was standing next to. Well not the whole tree just like 10 feet of it. Still not something Ruby would use if she could help it.

Ruby's final stalk, Stalk 9 had a death ray. It was unclear what the limits of this were as both the ursa and beowulf she used it on just died. A little bit freaked out at how easy it was Ruby decided it might be best to not use it if she can avoid it.

All of them were definitely hers with little silver irises in each of them. Still Ruby thinks as she reads the weapon magazine. Even if she is only using the telekinetic powers of her right eye she should have no trouble becoming a huntress.

As she thinks this Ruby feels a tap on her shoulder and turns around to see a man dressed in black. Taking her headphones off he repeats what he has apparently been saying for a bit now.

"Yes?"

"I said, put your hands in the air, now!" The goon demands.

"Are you... robbing me?"

"Yes!"

"Ohhh."

Back at the front counter Torchwick, self proclaimed master thief, is getting the dust when one of his hired henchmen goes flying through the window. Torchwick looks to one of the other goons and gestures with his head only for him to go flying through the already broken window.

Torchwick is somewhat unnerved so he and his hired henchmen file out of the building followed a few seconds later by Ruby choosing to use her telekinesis to float through the broken window.

"Okaay, get her"

At his order, tochwicks goons begin their attack on Ruby. Unfortunately for them, they are totally outclassed here. Ruby has Crescent Rose as she always does, but even she admits it isn't particularly practical when trying not to kill someone. Her telekinesis on the other is blatantly overpowered and one by one the goons are tossed into the air barely even moving.

As the goons fall back to the ground Torchwick sighs.

"You were worth every cent, truly you were. Well red I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening and as much as I'd love to stick around." Torchwick raises his cane, the targeting reticle popping out. "I'm afraid this is where we part ways." A powerful blast is fired out of the canes end.

Ruby is fast, but caught flat footed as she is she won't be able to dodge. Fortunately, she doesn't need to as she catches the projected energy in midair. The effort is strenuous and she has just enough time to jump out of the way before losing control and letting the blast continue its course, blowing up part of the pavement.

When she gets back up she looks around only to see Torchwick climbing up a ladder. Looking to the elderly shopkeep she asks

"You okay if I go after him?" When he gives an affirmative noise she launches herself with her telekinesis to the rooftop before calling out to the crook.

"Hey!"

"Persistent" Torchwick mutters under his breath. Ruby gets ready to deal with him when a bullhead appears distracting and blinding her with it's spotlight. Torchwick climbs aboard before turning around to taunt Ruby.

"End of the line red!" he shouts before tossing a fire dust crystal at Ruby's feet. Firing at it he woots before realizing someone blocked his shot. The new lady hmphs before sending out purple missiles to hit the bullhead causing it to shake about. Then after gathering energy she launches another burst of energy which turns into a cloud raining icicles onto the bullhead.

As this occurs a new person comes to the doors of the bullhead. The shadows are covering her face, but Ruby and the new lady can tell it's a woman. She fires a blast of red energy which the lady on the ground blocks with a purple shield only for a red circle to appear beneath her. A quick leap backward takes her out of range of the destructive attack and using the destroyed roof tiles she creates a spear which is launched at the bullhead. Whoever the woman in the bullhead is though she must be rather powerful as blasts of energy hit the spear breaking it apart again and again and when it looks like the spear is finally going to hit the bullhead tilts and the tiles only do a glancing blow.

The attack isn't over yet however as the spear splits into three and begins circling to attack the bullhead again only for a blast of red energy to destroy the strands completely. Ruby draws Crescent Rose and begins firing it at the woman in the bullhead only for the projectiles to be blocked by her hand. Ruby is pissed and for a moment she considers activating her left eye to disable the woman's aura when she feels a tug on her hood as she is thrown forward just before some new red circles detonate below her. Unfortunately, by the time she gets back up the bullhead is taking off and she does not have the strength to hold it.

Fortunately she has someone new to talk to and turns to the lady who had helped and saved her.

"You're a huntress." Ruby stutters

"Can I have your autograph!" Ruby pleads.

A few minutes later Ruby finds herself in an interrogation room getting berated by the woman she now knows to be Glynda Goodwitch. She did not get her autograph.

"I hope you realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly young lady. You put yourself and others in great danger." Feeling a need to defend herself Ruby argues back.

"They started it!" only to be ignored.

"If it were up to me, you would be sent home. With a pat on the back." Ruby begins to smile at this. Only for Glynda to turn and glare at her. "And a slap on the wrist." She finishes slapping her riding crop on the table causing Ruby to recoil. It seems like it is over when Glynda Continues.

"But, there is someone here who would like to meet you." she continues before moving out of the way as an older man with gray hair comes through the door carrying a coffee mug and a plate of cookies.

"Ruby Rose" He starts "You… have silver eyes."

Ruby is left confused. She has a lot of eyes, but she doesn't know what them being silver has to do with anything.

"So. How did you do this." the man says nodding at a screen showing her floating and Torchwicks goons getting tossed around. How he got the footage she would never know but the answer to his question was easy.

"My semblance is telekinesis. I have to see them and I can only target one person at a time, but well that's just how it works." Ruby lies.

"I see, and why did you take such initiative here." the man questions.

"Well, I wanna help people and I mean my semblance is pretty strong so why not be a huntress right? I have two more years of training at signal and then I am going to apply to beacon like my sister. I mean the police are alright, but huntsmen and huntresses are just so much more romantic and exciting and cool and jus gya- you know." Ruby rambles. Glynda looks over seemingly a bit worried about Ruby's... personality. A few seconds pass in silence before the man speaks up again.

"Do you know who I am?"

"You're professor Ozpin. You're the headmaster at Beacon." Of course Ruby knew who he was, no one involved in the world of huntsmen could not know him.

"Hello" He replies seemingly satisfied.

"Nice to meet you."

"You want to come to my school?" He questions leaning in. Ruby replies completely truthfully.

"More than anything." What she was not expecting was his response. As he looks over at Glynda who rolls her head.

"Well okay."
