Chapter 1:
A heavy sigh escaped through her lips as she walked up the sidewalk down the street.
It was just a normal day.
Normal. What was normal these days? Routinely yes, but normal? No.
Her dark brown flat ironed hair floated in the breeze, as the sun shined down. The very nice rounded neck, sleeveless, midi, white and pink floral dress fluttered around her knees as she just came from a wedding.
"Ah! No, no, no, no," She said, being yanked suddenly backwards by her rolling traveling suitcase.
What was inside the suit case was her photography equipment. Cameras, film, flashes, stands and background sheet, if needed. She had gutted it out when she first bought it and made it into her own for her photography.
Some teenagers snickered at her as she was turned around to get her suit case back on its wheels. Ignoring them completely, Bianca turned facing the right way and walked forward.
She didn't drive at all.
It was a bit extra taxing on her, but she preferred it this way.
A block away now, Bianca was glaring at the hill up to her apartment.
"Come on, you can do this," she mumbled mostly to herself.
Her apartment was old. It was built in the early 1900's. The grand crown molding added more than just a plain look to the apartment. But also added more onto the renting fee too.
Bianca groaned softly as she was trying so hard today to forget that blasted renter's fee. She knew that she was behind in paying her landowners, and she also knew that they wouldn't be so persuaded to push it back until next month like last time.
'Although, with this recent client it should be enough,' she thought to herself as she stopped mid way up to her apartment.
Pulling out her cell phone, she swiped to the left and got into her bank account app. With a Ding sound, Bianca shook her head when she saw that it was close to $20,000 dollars to go. With this latest client, it shaved off a thousand dollars with some odd cents from the tips.
She continued to walk home, trying to think on what else she could do. Her website featured calendars and photography for all sort of events. But it wasn't enough or on time for next month which was today.
Bianca bit her lower lip as she soon realized that she was at her door.
"Oh, come on!" she exclaimed, just now noticing something.
That something was bright in Red and taped onto the wood door.
An eviction notice.
Digging into her purse, she got out her keys and slammed it into the keyhole. She twisted her wrist and pushed the door open, pulling now with anger her traveling suitcase.
When she got to her office within, she yanked the zipper and unzipped the case.
The wedding was wonderful, as they always are. The couple that was getting married was a lesbian couple. Bianca smiled as she remembered how funny they were. There were a lot of friends more so then family, which Bianca wasn't going to judge either "side".
Bianca was dressed like one of the bride's maids because she always saw it important to "blend" into the event of the occasion. If her client or clients asked for her to not do so, then she wouldn't.
After she put everything away, she walked up the stairs to her bedroom and took a shower. She bounded down the stairs in her sweats and comfy t-shirt as she let her hair "air dried".
She pulled out some Chinese takeout menus from her Menu drawer and picked up the phone.
"Hello, this is Bianca Valeria…oh hi! Yes, yes," She laughed, looking over the menu "I would like Chicken Chow Mein, Pork fried rice, egg rolls, Sweet and Sour Pork, beef and broccoli stir-fried …and...Your dumpling soup please,"
She waited for a bit and then said, "Yes. Thank you so much,"
After hanging up, she got out her credit card but something fell from her pocket. Curious, she bends down and picked it up.
There was a note wrapped around it.
She pulled it from the rubber band and it stated:
"We cannot thank you enough. Please take this since we both know that you need it more so than us. Love, Kelly and Sammie,"
Scrunching her eyebrows together, Bianca unwrapped the money and gasped. It was their wedding money that they received today.
"No…no, Kelly ….Sammie," Bianca said softly to herself.
Hundreds, fifties, and a couple thousand bills were all for her.
DING-DUNG!
Jumping out of her skin, she dropped some of the money and walked to the front door. There stood the delivery guy of her order.
"35, please," he said to her, holding up the white plastic bags with the logo of the Chinese restaurant had on it.
What Bianca didn't know was that the young man had already paid for half of it every time that he delivered to her. He knew who the renters were and he didn't like how they were treating her. So he always put the food at half paid and very low for her to pay the other half.
"Oh! Uh…hang on please," she said, counting out the money in her hand and handed it over to him.
"Thank you, Miss Bianca," he said, as he has been coming to her apartment for over a month now.
"You're welcome, Jing," she said smiling, taking her order and shutting the door.
She walked to her dining table and laid out everything and dished up.
It was close to 9 PM at night. She was on the big old plush couch of hers watching her favorite movie trilogy: The Lord of the Rings.
DING DUNG!
"What the hell?" She muttered to herself as she hit pause on her DVD and got up.
DING DUNG!
"I'm coming! Hold your fucking horses," she said loudly, irritated now.
She twisted the handle and opened the door to two men dressed in full tuxedoes and pitch black sunglasses.
"Oh lord….Uh…I think the Aliens are over in Area 51," she said to them.
"May we come in, Miss?" the closes one said to her.
"Who are you?" she asked, not budging at all.
The second man looked at the first and they seem to be having a silent conversation with each other, but no words were spoken.
"We would like to discuss this inside if you will," the first man said to her.
"If I will," she stated back, not budging at all now.
"Miss Valeria, this discussion has to do with the recent pay on your apartment from the FBI," the second man sternly said to her.
"I know you're not from America, and that is not how we do things here, let alone the FBI. So I'll let you in, but understand this: I'll hear you out, but it's up to me on what you have to say," She blatantly said back.
Both men glanced at one another, their bluff being called upon and walked inside.
Bianca led them to her dining table and took a seat.
"Miss Valeria, we are not Americans as you called our bluff. We're here to present to you an opportunity," man one said.
"An opportunity to save your home here," Man two then said next.
"Opportunity for …what?" Bianca asked them, her walls were still up.
Man one brought out a binder from his brief case and handed it to her, stating "To photograph the Royal Family of Aria,"
Flipping it open, Bianca saw on the front page she saw the tropical sun beaming down on a beach where a huge sturdy stone wall and then the sprawling ancient town.
She knew this place at once. It was advertised nearly half hour either on her phone, TV or computer of some sort.
"Aria? I've heard of it, but too expensive to go," Bianca commented.
The men didn't say anything, just blankly gazed at her.
"Do I have to pack right now or can I have a few days?" she asked them curiously.
"You have a few days to answer. But, we need an answer from you either way," Man two said.
Bianca nodded and stayed silent.
The men got up, left the binder behind and walked out of her apartment.
It was a lot to think about. The money that she knew would be in her account right now if she did take it, her apartment maintained by her but, to go to Aria? For Free from what she was reading of the binder.
A few days later Bianca was sitting on her couch when the door bell rang. It was barely 5 AM in the morning.
Grumbling sleepily, she walked over to the front door and opened it.
"Oh, Hi," She said, her voice slow and thick with sleep.
"Do you have an answer?" One of the men asked her.
The silence hung as the men from Aria keenly waited.
"My answer," She said, "is yes,"
"We'll inform the Royal Family. Read the binder on how you will interact with them. These are not celebrities. They are the Royal family of Aria," One of the men said and they walked away.
Bianca stood staring out her door in a sleepy haze but shook her head.
"I have to get ready," she mumbled, grabbing her stuff for the day.
Mile upon miles away, in the foreign lands Aria, someone got a text message. A smile appeared on his face as his honey colored eyes danced with delight.
"What are you smiling at, Brother?" one of his siblings asked him.
"Nothing. Again!" he said back, getting back into his stance.
"You will have to do this yourself if you're that focused on it," He huffed and walked away from his brother.
He just shook his head and threw a rock at him.
"I'm Warning you!" His younger brother growled at him.
"Bring it," he dared him.
And so they danced in their practice lessons for now.
Author's note:
Hello! Hello! well, come on in and make yourself comfortable.
So. This is based off of a series written by: Danielle Bourdon. You can easily read it on Good Reads: Heir Untamed. the pace with this fic is going to be slowed down. That was one of the little pet peeves that I had with the books.
rated: Mature.
The Turtles are going to be six feet tall but not the Bay Turtles. I will add little things here and there from different versions but, there is no area for them to place if you get me.
If there is anything that needs editing, I will do it later. Another thing, if I got anything wrong with Lesbian part, please let me know so that I can correct it, thank you.
