Chapter One- The Day You Went Away
"Natalia?" Bucky asked feeling weird...sick...like he was fading away.
"James, what's wrong?" Natasha's breath quickened.
"It was always you." Came from his lips before he just vanished, Natasha looked around the battlefield panicked as she saw many others do the same.
"NO!" Natasha groaned hot tears spilling down her face as she fell to her knees gasping for air...she didn't know who was running towards her. She didn't care because it wasn't Bucky. Clint's eyes fell upon his best friend knowing that it had been Bucky that vanished right in front of her.
"Nat…"he starts, not knowing what to say or do.
"Not again! God dammit not again! Why? Why? Why? Fuck you! FUCK YOU!" Natasha yelled going on a rampage, which is when he grabbed her.
"We'll get them back. I promise." Clint sighs down on the ground with her...Tony, Steve, Bruce and Thor surrounded them. They'd been winning they really had but, Thanos always had something up his sleeve.
Present Day
It had been three years since the snap happened and nothing had worked. Tony quit The Avengers, Thor disappeared, Nobody had really heard from Steve, Clint went back home to his family and Bruce went back to the lab trying to find some way to fix this. Natasha had stayed at the tower trying to resume her life like the others had but, without The Avengers she really didn't know what to do. She was alone. To Natasha Romanoff being alone was the worst pain imaginable. Natasha sat on the couch that evening in her care bear pajamas and black tank top, her hair in a bun switching on the tv landing on "A Walk To Remember."
"We can't keep pretending everything is fine, Tony. I know it's been three years but they wouldn't want us to just give up. Please." Steve had showed up to Tony and Pepper's house.
"I'm doing this with or without you but, I refuse to give up." Steve spoke, not bothering to sit down. Tony looks over to his wife who nods in agreement to Steve's statement.
"Go. They need you, I'd never ask you to stay when I know you want to go." Pepper smiles at him.
"Let's go." Tony says giving his wife a kiss goodbye before they both departed.
"Where do you think Nat went?" Steve asked.
"She stayed, I can't imagine Natasha going anywhere else." Tony shook his head, everyone had seen how much Natasha had been hurt. All of them had. The two got out of Tony's car and took the elevator up to The Avengers Tower.
"Care Bears? Really? You could have at least sent me a text, I would have put on my care bear boxers." Tony smirked as they both walked towards her.
"Are you-is Natasha Romanoff actually watching romance movies?" Steve couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"What's going on?" She stands up, surprised to see both of them.
"We gave up too easily Nat, their counting on us. We're going to find a way to get them back. We all lost someone when Thanos did The Snap." Steve looks at her.
"It's so good to have you guys back." Natasha walked over to them, hugging Steve. Then, hugging Tony.
"What's our next move?" Tony asked her.
"You're the leader, you tell me."
