Ferhat has been assigned to retrieve a computer stolen by Adem that has all the secret information in the underworld dealings of Namik Emirhan who is running to become the Mayor of Istanbul. Adem is shot before Ferhat can get the whereabouts of the computer. Trying to save Adem's life, Namik has a new resident surgeon assigned, but the plan is spoiled when Ebru pretends to be sick and asks Asli to take her place. Asli skills as a surgeon saves Adem's life but then has the misfortune of seeing Namik kill Adem when he refused to tell where he hid the computer. Namik orders Ferhat to kill Asli and dispose her body.
As Asli pleads for her life , Ferhat has flashbacks to him looking at Asli's beauty as she was cooling herself off in the stable stall she was being held. Asli tells him that her brother Cem who is a police officer will not rest if he finds out that she has been killed. As cold hearted as Ferhat is he looks at Asli before he is about to pull the trigger
Ferhat: Do you want to live…. then marry me… take my last name and you will be under my protection
Meanwhile, Asli's brother has started to work for the new prosecutor Yigit Aslan, who has made it his life goal to incarcerate both Namik and his brother Ferhat for all the crimes they have committed. Unable to contact Asli for the past several days they learn that a marriage request has been made whereby Asli Cinar will be marrying Ferhat Aslan that coming night. Cem and Yigit raid the mansion in order to stop the wedding , but Asli and Ferhat have rehearsed a similar response that they have have known each other for two years and have only recently found each other
Cem: Sister you don't have to do this

Asli and Ferhat marriage becomes official and immediately takes Asli to his loft away from the mansion and his relatives. The loft is decorated in mostly black tones , but the only glimmer of hope and light is that Asli gets to see a side of Ferhat that she couldn't have imagined. Ferhat has a a three legged dog named Astura that he loves dearly and the dog loves him. Asli begins to see that this ruthless killer has more to him than meets the eye.
Asli's boyfriend hears that Asli has gotten married storms to the loft to question Asli, only to be greeted by Ferhat who beats him up and breaks his nose. A distraught Asli manages to stab Ferhat who understands Asli

Episode 33 and beyond reflects what transpired from the night that Asli and Ferhat renewed their wedding vows till the time that Mert Aslan was introduced to the world.
With the death of Namik Emirhan by fire Ferhat took a precautionary step in making sure that the family continues to be safe, he requested that the family remains in the mansion until everything can be confirmed that their is no more danger to anyone
Ferhat: Even though I saw Namik Emirhan die in that fire I want to make sure that there isn't revenge factors still in play….. Julide hasn't been found , Cuneyt , even though in custody is never far from trouble
Yigit: it's better to be safe than sorry
Ferhat: Dilsiz….. alert the house security not to be relaxed …. You and Hulya are taking permanent residence in this house….. your the only one I trust to keep us safe
Yigit: Tomorrow , I'll make calls to the prosecutor to see if they have any information that we should know about
Everyone goes to their respective rooms... Asli and Ferhat have their now knightly talk before they go to bed

Yigit calls the prosecutor to get any information on Julide and Idil
Prosecuter: After the fire was put out , we found two human remains… it looks like one body was killed before the fire and we know the one that the fire killed…. As far as Idil… we have found her car with Cuneyt's finger prints all over it
Yigit: It appears that Cuneyt got himself involved in many activities …. Let's see how fast his mouth starts moving
Prosecuter: You and your brother helped us so much…. I'm recommending you get your old job back ….
Yigit now has to see if Suna is in agreement with it.
Ferhat has the task of unraveling the estate of Namik Emirhan and him being the sole heir. The Emirhan Holdings company assets will be unfrozen now that Namik Emirhan has been certified to be dead.
Ferhat meets with the company lawyers to discover that Namik did one good thing for him by making the transfer of assets to him a very orderly process. After all the reconciliation of accounts Ferhat realizes that he needs to talk with Asli as to how they will proceed with this new wealth that they have been entrusted with.
At dinner that night a recap of the days events took place.
Asli: today we took Mother Teeter to the surgeon that specializes in her condition. His recommendation was that we proceed with the medication for several weeks, but if no significant improvement is made then he recommends surgery in which I will assist . The surgery will be a little risky but doing nothing will be fatal
Yeter: Now that I have the support of my family, I've decided to have the surgery sooner….. before Asli is to far along in the pregnancy….. knowing that Asli will be there with me gives me great confidence …. Knowing that all of you will be there makes this so much easier to bear.
Gulsum: Mother, everything will be alright … we've left our darkness behind…. Only the good things are ahead of us
Suna: Not only do we need you… the grandchildren present and future will need you …. Everything will be alright.
Yigit talked to Asli privately about what he learned from the prosecutor
Yigit: sister …. I don't know how to tell you this, but there was another body in the fire… from all indications it was Julide… I'm sorry for your loss
Asli: I really didn't know her, but she had a very troubled life …. I just hope her soul is at peace
Yigit: Sister….. I'm so glad that my brother has you…. You provide such a calming influence
Asli: after what we've all been through we all need calmness in our lives
Everyone retreats to their bedrooms giving Asli and Ferhat their time alone
Asli: you didn't have much to say tonight….. anything wrong
Ferhat: the company lawyers came by to inform me of the asset distributions for Emirhan Holdings… I'm the sole heir
Asli: what's troubling you ….. you are bothered by this
Ferhat: I hated the man for what he did to me and my family….. what he tried to do you….. now I'm to be grateful for this wealth even though much of it was gained by me killing people
Asli: Our happiness …. our families happiness will not revolve around this wealth ….. right now we have other things to worry about… tell me about the fear that I saw in your eyes when I talked about your mothers condition

Several days pass and Asli has spent all of her time researching the procedures involving the removal of this tumor. The uncertainty of the side effects and possible death requires the steadiest of hands and the internal fortitude to make it happen.
The family gathers at the hospital as each one tries to keep a confident look to them until Gulsum begins to cry uncontrollably.
Abidin grabs his wife trying to comfort her with his usual calm self until Asli arrives telling everyone that Mother Teeter is in good hands and they simply need to be patient…. This operation will be long and tedious but everyone must remain calm….. she then goes to her husband
Asli: you promised me …. right!
Ferhat: Doctor… do what you do best ….. Asli kisses Ferhat and proceeds to get scrubbed for surgery.
As the hours pass worry begins to take hold….. Teeter's condition turns to critical…. Her blood pressure has decreased considerable to the amount of blood she is loosing making it even more difficult to remove the tumor. They need more blood and they have exhausted their supply on hand of this particular blood type.
Asli: My husband is the same blood type….. Tell him that I need his blood to save his mother
Nurse comes out and asks to talk to Mrs Asli's husband

Nurse: Doctor Asli said to tell you she needs your blood to save your mother
Ferhat goes with the nurse and gets prepped for the operating room whereby he is hooked up to a blood transfusion machine that allows his blood to go directly into Teeter. Asli eyes shows her gratitude whereby she has taken over to do the final removal of the tumor.
Chief Surgeon: Doctor Asli… your quick thinking saved this patient…. You are a remarkable surgeon
Asli goes to her husband who himself is very drained from all the blood that was removed from him.
Asli: Are you alright…as she gives him a thank you kiss… I'll go talk to the family and tell them that everything will be fine
As Asli comes out a crying Gulsum rushes to her
Gulsum: Is my mother alright…. Where is my brother
Asli: Mother Yeter will be fine…. We have to monitor her for the next several days to make sure that her vital signs remain stable….. as far as Ferhat ….. he is resting he gave her all the blood she needed for us to complete the surgery….. he gave Mother Yeter her life back.
The bond between a mother and son is unbreakable.
