Please note this is my first fan fiction so please criticize me thank you I was laying there on the hard ground struggling to breathe for my lungs had been crushed I lay there broken like a child's doll thrown away I could barely see for blood was running down my face into my eyes and out of all the thoughts that should have been going through my mind the only thing was that day the day I woke up in that white room...
In a land where winter had lasted hundreds of years was a lonely mountain with a small cave that went deep into the mountain itself and at the back of this cave was a door with powerful magic runes that were glowing faintly amd then a soft click the door swung open to reveal a white room witha black stone stable and laying on this table was a woman. She slowly began to open her eyes and she slowly began to utter some words softly.
"C cold so cold where an I who am I "said the woman
She slowly began to sit up and look around the room she saw in this room a small chest a bookshelf with a few books and a few odds and ends and hanging on the wall was a brown satchel and what looked like magic equipment. she slowly got off the stone table and slowly began to walk towards the chest. In side the chest was was a white outfit she then proceeded to put on the outfit it fit her perfectly it hugged her curves the white had black accents to make the white stand out more. she then grabbed the satchel that was hanging on the wall she opened the satchel and looked into it and all she saw was darkness just pitch black she worked up the courage and she put her hand into the satchel and then her forearm and then the rest of her arm the satchel seemed to be made of magic then she made her way around the room grabbing all that seemed to be like it would be useful then she heard a voice familiar yet she couldn't remember who it belonged to.
"So I see you finally awake now and I see you have been busy "said the familiar voice "Who are you sound familiar but I can't remember anything "said the woman in white "let's say this I'll tell you when the times right for now you should probably leave this place and fine the boy "said the familiar voice "well that was helpful and who's this boy I'm supposed to find "said the woman in white.
Just then her stomach began to rumble."I guess I'm hungry let's find something to eat " said the woman in white and with that she existed the white room amd she was meant by the darkness of the cave and she felt out for the wall amd found it and so she slowly made her way out of the cave. After a few minutes of walking she began to see a light at the end of the cave and then she stepped out into the bright light of the day she was blinded by the bright light then her eyes slowly began to adjust to the light.
She looked around her and he was in a snow covered forest her stomach rumble again and so she was off to find food after awhile she couldn't find anything then she heard it a cracking noise coming from behind her then out stepped a large white hat with coal black eyes. To her this was food but unknown to her she was food to this heart for this heart was a dangerous magical beast that had been tracking her mana aura. Suddenly the magic beast changed at her with its sharp antlers pointed at her. She just in time got out of the way from being skewered this dance of death continued for what seemed a age.
"how the hell am I going to kill this thing I dont have any weapons at all "she thought to her self "why dont you use your magic then " said the familiar voice "wait I can use magic?"said the woman in white "of course I made you to be able to after all now come on I know you can remember a simple fire spell"said the familiar voice "ok I can remember the word for the fire spell let me think "after she thought that time it self seemed to slow down the magic beast was in full charge and then it came to her in the back of her throat she pulled it forward "Fura!!" she shouted the word and in a I a flash a large ice spike when flying through the air and found its mark impaling the magic beast it now lay in the snow as its life blood flowed from the now gaping hole in its body.
Her stomach was rumbling aggressively now she couldn't help her self she made her way towards the dying beast and got on her knees amd with her hands began to tear into the beast and start to eat it alive she eat its fatty meat its heart and other organs her face was smeared with blood but the white outfit didn't have a drop of blood on it as if the outfit its self was magic after her feasting she got up amd went to a nearby stream and cleaned her face off then she noticed something through the trees. so she got up and made her way towards what she saw.
After walking a bit she came upon a village that was frozen in time. As she walked through this peaceful scene she saw snow covered I've statues of people they were of elf and humans "what is this place what happened here " the woman in white thought to her self then she felt a cold aura something of that gave off the feeling of dread compelled she followed the signal towards its source after what seemed like a few hours she came to a cleaning in the trees. There standing in the middle of this field was a large door with a lock on it and at the base of the door lay a body of a female elf frozen in time the woman in white walked towards the frozen woman and knelt down to look at her.
"She was a elf look like she was in a hard fight looks like she was killed " said the woman in white out loud " if you could remember you could bring her back from the dead" said the familiar voice " I I can do that " said the woman in white "of course I gave you the power to control life and death it was one of my greatest achievements "said the familiar voice "well until I can remember fully I'll come back and recover you "said the woman in white to the frozen elf woman and with that she got out and looked at the sun to get her barings and then she headed east she walked for days killing magic beast and eating them but still no signs of any other life of the snow melting. days turned to weeks and slowly things began to warm up he stared to hear bird and see less dangerous animals after about a month she came across a old road.
"Well this is a new change I bet this will lead to people and people will lead me to this boy I'm supposed to find "she said to her self and so she continued to walk till her feet were hurting she remembered during her travel that she had more than one affinity for magic and in fact could use all four basic elements amd so she cast a weak healing spell on her feet that took the pain away . it was starting to get dark now and so she soon found a place to make a camp she got a small fire going and leaned up against a trees and drifted into sleep in her dreams she saw the boy the voice was talking about he was dressed weirdly in strange clothes and beside him stood several female out lines she reached out as if to touch the boy and then she woke the sun and so she got up stretched and started onwards.
She walked for a long time how long I dont know but then she saw it in the distances at first it looked small but them she saw it was much bigger than she expected before she got to what she saw in the distance she came a cross a ruined wagon caravan she looked around and saw the a few corpses for men in armour she had a choice now she could go towards the thing in the distance or go on the road that these men where traveling on she decided that she would go on the road these men were traveling because ot might lead her to a town and so on she went for days she traveled and she grew hungry it was turning her wild then she smelled it before she saw it.
she smelled it and then after she crested a hill she saw a small village there was maybe fifteen or so medium houses that could hold a familiar of four or five with out problems."Hello is anyone here I'm a traveler who's been traveling along time and I dont know where I'm at or where I'm even going"said the woman in white but all was quiet then she looked around and saw a little girl holding a straw doll stare at her like she was fascinated with her."Hello how are is there anyone else around is your family here "ask the woman but the girl just stood there in silence then a scream rang through the quiet village "Anna " screamed a woman who ran towards the little girl "please dont kill us "begged tears streaming down her face "What I'm not going to hurt you "said the woman in white then she heard other footsteps and out came several black hooded figures carrying shoswords.
"I dont know who you guys are but I have a feeling that it want to do these people harm so I'll give you this one chance leave or you will be killed " said the woman in white the hooded figures didn't say anything just then one that had sneaked up on the woman and child fell dead "I gave you a chance "said the woman in white what happened after you couldn't even call a fair fight the woman in white had a bigger skill gap than the men in the hoods and they knew that and after she had killed almost all of them the rest feld. She looked around and saw the ground stained with blood and corpses her stomach was now rumbling she then started towards the nearest corps but before she could do anything a dep Male voice sounded behind her.
"Are you the woman who saved us "asked the man "yes I am "said the woman in white then she noticed that the people of the village had come out of there homes and was looking at her "thank you for saving us miss our village is in your favor if we can help you with any thing let us know " said the man "well there is a few things you could help me with "said the woman in white and so the village feed her and gave her a place to sleep for a few day they gave her directions to the capital city which was only a three day hike from this village they also gave her a small amount of money that they could find she didn't want to seem rude so she accepted it as she was about to head out the village chef asked her one last question "miss if you dont mind you never told us your name "said the village chef "my name ?"said the woman in white and then she had a flash.
"Umeko can you hand me that jar please"said a familiar voice "yes mum "said Umeko then she came back and the villagers were looking at her "my name is Umeko "said Umeko amd then she turned and stared her journey to the capital the days passed uneventful the villagers had given her some food for the journey and around noon on the third day she saw it or more like her it she saw hundreds of land dragon carriages and so she made her way to the main road she had to watch were she was walking or she would be run down but after she made her way into the city she decided to look around not knowing what or were to going she figured she would try and find the central market.
Little did she know she was about to meet two people who were going to change her life and find the boy she was looking for she could sense him before she could see him but after she made her way through the market she saw him he had cat ears a tail a blue dress and pretty blue bows in his hair he was standing next to a beautiful woman they seemed to be close but Umeko wasn't going to get anywhere by just standing there so she approached them and this is how it when down.
"Felix are you sure we need a new rug for the foyer "said Crusch "Of course we do its nice to spruce things up a bit once in awhile "said Felix "alright well get it then "said Crusch " Dont look now but I think we are being followed"said Felix in. serious tone "how many"asked Crusch slightly unsheathing he sword "just one "said Felix prepared to back Crusch up then they heard her voice to them ot was soft and kind with no hint of agression "Um excuse me I would like you help and you guys seem like you might be able to help I'm looking for someone who's important to me "said Umeko.
The two relaxed and then they saw her she was just as pretty as her voice "why sure nya who you looking for "asked Felix and so Umeko explained in as much detail about the boy she was looking for and the two of them looked at each other in silence because they knew exactly who she was describing. "We know who your talking about so why dont you come back with me to my manor and we can talk further there there's more inwant to ask you about "said Crusch "Ok" sId Umeko and so the three when back the Crutches Manor they eat a large meal mostly in silence amd after they began to speak "the mane of the boy your looking for his name is Subaru and he's a good friend of ours and I will kill anyone who would bring harm to him " said Crusch. Umeko swallowed hard "I dont mean. to do him any harm I just want to talk to him you see I think he has something to do with my past so I'm trying to find him "said Umeko Crusch seemed to relax knowing that Umeko meant what she said "he is staying at lord Roswaals manor I'll give you directions to his manor if you want "said Crusch "Yes thank you i will sent out tomorrow then "said Umeko.
the three talked for a long while after Crusch and Felix told Umeko hiw to get to Lord Roswaals manor from the capital and so the next day Umeko left on a Barowed land dragon and sent out
"we will be Subaru you can count on that" and so she road for many days and then she saw it first the village amd in the distance the ruins of lord Roswaals manor.
