As I am writing in this diary, it has been around 2-3 weeks since the Percentverse Fiasco (hehe, that kinda rhymes), where my mercenary team were utterly destroyed by human turned Pokémon, our sentries were down and they attacked at night, 2 of us survived and 1 of us pushed through to complete our objective.
You can guess who.
From our team's kill count, I counted around 8 (at least 3 to my name) pokemon killed and 14 (almost all done by me) humans, 24 in total, compared to the 7 mercenaries that died, 24:7 K/D ratio, not that bad. (aside from all the weapons we left behind)
I'm now in a dimension where cities are high above the ground, has flying cars whooshing by like bullets flying through the air in a fire fight, and highly unstable flying roads that make me feel sick every time I walk over them to cross the other side, the air is extremely cold, and frankly, sitting on these old tv's they just have lying around is only enough to keep me going before I have to start using my own powers for warmth, although the bus stop opposite to us has heaters, don't know why this hanger doesn't though.
I should probably write about the mercenary team I'm working with, well, there's Qeen, an alien of unknown origin looking for work after he and his buddies went on strike because they didn't pay them enough to blow up asteroids (interesting story, really), he works as our power class and healer, he demonstrated his healing abilities when Aleskey accidently hit one of our other mercs with some sort of ice attack, he was screaming for 10 seconds before Qeen did his alien thing and it was all good, any signs of pain were just, gone.
10/10 would press e for heal again.
Anyways, since I mentioned his name I might as well tell you who this Aleksey guy is, well, to be fair, he's actually a Pokémon, a Glaceon, to be exact, who somehow joined up in this mercenary team and is here, he acts as our scout/light attack, and despite being a Glaceon, he seems to understand most of the concepts we throw at him, he knows how to write with his mouth, by grabbing the pen and drawing letters (to the best of his abilities) and displays a high level of intelligence, so either someone made him overpowered or he wasn't a Pokémon in the first place, because it's very rare to see Pokémon mercenaries doing these contracts, due to their signature looks and creepy 30 year olds who obsess about them.
Anyways, back to Aleksey, he looks like a standard Glaceon, although he has a small bag over his shoulder, a hat similar to the one Ash Ketchum wears and some goggles, and although I'm not completely sure on this but I think he comes from the Percentverse dimension, or, more realistically, a variant of it, because when I was working in the Percentverse dimension, some guy who claimed to be from the "firestorm" timeline kept on contacting me about his dimension, while the one I was working in had the exact same parameters as he did although his one went nuclear or something, so I'm starting to think that Aleksey was banished from his timeline or something, because he kept on saying about how he missed his hometown, but on the plus side, at least you're working as a mercenary!
Who else… well, we can talk about some of the other guys, but they're all gold rank mercenaries, so they have to wear standard equipment and stuff like that depending for who they work for, because of this they all look so boring, they're mostly armed with m4 carbines and ak 47's, so I wouldn't mind if they all got blown up by some rocket jumping madman, aside from them are a few special ones, I never got to know their names because they kept to themselves, but from what I can tell, they're elves looking for riches, but it's hard to tell because they all look like they're from some sort of RPG or something, kitted out with magical armour and stuff like that, and their party leader is female, which means that she's probably going to die really quick or somehow mary sue her way out, either way, every merc helps.
Still, why here of all places? Oh well, I guess we'll just have to find out.
A Conversation with an alien
"so uhm… Qeen, what exactly are we fighting, the contract was all vague and I personally don't trust the other mercenaries here." I spoke.
"well, Blue hooded one, the contract specifies that the television beside from where you rest is actually a gateway to another universe, a Dimensional door, you may say." Qeen muttered softly.
"and?" I replied in confusion.
"well, our client wants us to slay the ender dragon, a terrifying beast that flys around her ender island, with giant monolithic towers beaming her life force, as if to convey the words, hope ends here… it's all quite entertaining, I must tell you".
"wait can't they just do it themselves, I mean, it's literally just 30 dollars, sure the prices might be hiked from before but- ".
"but of course, my apprentice of dark fire, this specific dimension has a weird structure made out of obsidian hovering off to the side, so he requested that we go and slay the dragon, and finally find out what presides in the obsidian structure."
"ahh so there is a point to this whole thing?"
"but of course, there is a point to everything, but I must warn you, as you and the elven fairy are the only ones that possess the ability of flight, you and she will be forced to inspect the structure, without my, or anybody else's help." He said, in a more frantic tone than before.
"ah, thanks for the heads up then."
"and thank you for asking, it is always nice to talk to someone with such a high potential of power."
Well, that went better than expected…
