In The Spirit of Easter
Eastertide – or more commonly known as Ascension Sunday due to the God of Light's ascending upon Remnant – was a yearly holiday. Nowadays it was more associated with hares and rabbits, eggs, and chocolate, which suit Ruby just fine – chocolate and cute little bunny-rabbits were some of her favourite things – as the young sniper whipped up some chocolate in the common kitchen whilst singing a happy tune to herself.
Every year she made some chocolate eggs to friends and family alike, which had become a bit of a tradition in of itself as students around Beacon waited for the red-hooded girl to show up and offer the sugary treats.
"Alright, that takes care of the last batch!" Ruby proudly exclaimed. "Everyone is going to love these for sure!"
"Heya, Ruby," someone greeted from behind and Ruby, startled, spun on her heel to find the upperclassman, Velvet, a few steps away. The older girl was dressed casually with tight jeans, combat boots, black t-shirt, and a brown bomber-jacket, and she had donned her hair up in a ponytail. Her ears were close together and pointing outwards. "Watcha doing?"
"Oh, Hi Velvet!" She chirped. "I just finished making chocolate eggs for everyone!"
Long ears perked up, twitching as the Faunus' lips curled neatly upwards. "Oh, right, your yearly chocolate gift-giving! Did it go well?"
"You bet! I'm pretty dang pleased with the results!" She beamed at the older Huntress-in-training. "Want a taste of your batch?"
The brunette chuckled coolly and stepped over next to the sniper. "Sure thing."
She proceeded to reach for a small chocolate egg from the small plastic bag labelled with her name while she flung an arm over Ruby's shoulders and popped the chocolate treat into her mouth—
"Well? What do you—eep!"
-and rested her other hand over Ruby's breast with a firm-yet-tender squeeze. "Mm! This is good, Ruby! You've outdone yourself this time."
"O-Oh, ah, th-thanks…!" Ruby uttered, desperate to control her voice while her mind reeled. "Uhm, V-Velvet…?"
"Yeah?" The older student casually responded.
"What a-are you, mmh, d-doing…?"
"Sampling the treat," she again replied suavely. "Say, Ruby?"
"Y-yeah…?" Ruby's face was hot and flushed crimson.
"Do you know why bunnies are so heavily associated with Eastertide?"
Ruby blinked and stifled a moan as she squirmed from Velvet's continued pawing. Now that she thought about it (as much as she was able to that is) she couldn't come up with an answer. "Uhm…N-No? Ah!"
"Eastertide is celebrated in Spring which symbolizes rebirth and new life; during that time most animals start to give birth. Rabbits especially are quite active, given their high reproduction rate." She glanced back at Ruby as she reached for another chocolate egg and brought it to her lips. "Eggs were a symbol of fertility back in the day…as did rabbits."
Ruby's silver eyes widened slightly and her gaze was suddenly drawn to the long ears atop Velvet's head. "O-Oh."
There was a soft, quiet moan just barely above a whisper and the sniper's gaze shifted back to velvet as her tongue coiled around the egg-shaped treat, licking off the outer coating. The process was painstakingly slow as Ruby found herself unable to look away, her body suddenly hot all over.
"Mmmh…" Velvet's eyes didn't stray from Ruby's as she licked away the coating before finally popping the sweet inside her mouth. The way she seemed to savour each bite was like listening to someone touching themselves with utmost care, almost like a sensual ASMR. "Say, Ruby?"
"Y-yes?!"
Velvet chuckled, her voice dropping into a low, husky utterance. "They also say that rabbits symbolizes good luck…so I'm going to try my luck," she said and shifted her leg between Ruby's, now facing her. "I sampled your batch, so how about you come with me to my room and…sample mine?"
Ruby blinked, puzzled, but immediately shuddered when Velvet's leg brushed over the apex of her loins…and as she glanced down, her eyes went wider as a bulging outline suddenly strained against the jeans and her throat went dry. One peek back up at the brunette and the sheer smoulder in hazel orbs, contrasting the cool, suave smile and posture, made her sex clench and heat beginning to pool between her legs.
"…Okay…"

"Has anyone seen Ruby?"
Weiss and Blake turned to each other, Blake looking up from her book and Weiss from her homework, and shook their heads.
"I haven't seen her since she went to the kitchen to make chocolate," the fencer stated. "Huh. Come to think of it, it's already evening. Does she usually take this long?"
"No, she usually finishes before dinner."
"Maybe you should go check the kitchen? Although, maybe Ruby made a bigger batch this time and is still going around handing them out?" Blake offered.
"Yeah, maybe." Yang crossed her arms. "Oh well, guess I'll look first before calling her Scroll."
"You do that," Blake said. "Oh, by the way, Yang; Ilia was looking for you earlier."
"Ilia?" The blonde brawler clicked her tongue. "Oh, right. The exchange program leading up to the Vytal festival. I forgot about that. What did she want?"
"She wouldn't say, but she wanted to meet you in person. I gave her your number, but I guess she hasn't called yet."
"Huh. Alright. I guess I'll find out. I catch you guys later."
Blake nodded. "Later."
The door clicked shut and the feline woman got up, putting away her book in the process, before sauntering over to the oblivious fencer with a smirk curving her lips. "Heya, Weiss. Watcha doing?"

Yang rounded a corner and grunted as a smaller figure ran into her whom, unfortunately for them, ended up falling back while Yang merely stepped back.
"Oh, sorry about- Oh hey, sis!" Yang exclaimed. "I was just going to look for you!"
"H-Hey, Yang! I was just heading back! I, uhm, g-got a little set beck in the kitchen and, uh…"
"Looks like you got a little hectic there, sis," Yang pointed out with a chuckle. "You've got some chocolate on your cheek."
"Oh! Oh, uhm, yes there was a …mishap, yeah…"
"Huh. I didn't know you dabbled with white chocolate too."
"W-What?"
"You've got some white chocolate on in your hair, to your right."
"White choco-" Silver eyes bulged out as the sniper immediately wiped the entirety of her right side. "Oh, uhm, y-yeah! I tried it out a little for once, ahahaha!"
"You alright there, Ruby…?"
"Of course! Of course! I just, uh…Oh, I forgot I have to hand out the rest of these chocolates, I'll swing by later with yours and Blake's and Weiss' okay byeeeee!"
With a torrent of rose petals in her wake, Ruby was gone.
"…The hell was that about?"
"Oh, hello Yang."
The blonde turned back around. "Oh hey, Velvet! What's up?"
"Nothing at the moment. I'm just relaxing…feeling rather spent."
"One of those days huh?" Yang rested her hands behind her head. "I feel ya."
"Oh yeah. One of those," Velvet said. "I have a feeling there will be more of those in the near future. Just spending hours in your room, thoroughly engrossed." She smirked at the brawler. "Oh by the way, the Atlesian exchange student…Neon, was it? She was looking for you."
"What, really? Damn, I'm popular!" Yang exclaimed and laughed. "Alright, thanks for telling me! I'll go find her then."
"You do that," Velvet replied at the brawler jogged off, unable to suppress her smirk.
A/N: Just some silly idea I wanted to toss out here. Consider it a gateway for some other smooth Faunus dominance fics I guess. Happy Easter everyone!
