Eri
What's the point of having the power to rewind someone when all you are doing is delaying the inevitable?
There is no point.
All she does is buy them a few more years at most. Seconds at least.
But all things fall to Death.
She first thought her power was a curse, until he came.
Her hero.
He saved her just as much as she saved him.
He went on to become the number one hero, years later.
Because of him she met her father, Shota, and husband, Kota.
He and Lemillion were her first heroes.
And she met so many more afterwards.
But this time, she couldn't be his.
When those at UA learned of her quirk, she feared they would see it as she once did, a curse.
But they didn't, they saw it as a blessing to have a healing ability more potent than even Recovery Girl's
Her hero reminded her she could be a hero too, just like him.
She held onto that belief and became the best healing hero in Japan, if not the world.
But even among the hundreds she saved, she still lost many.
Now he laid among them.
She watched as the next great heroes of any generation grew up and advanced in front of her very eyes.
She knows each one of them personally, along with so many others.
She watched as her hero became everyone else's and she couldn't help but smile.
The same smile he along with his friends helped bring out so many years ago.
And just like so many years ago she along with a few others from his class, knew that he wasn't always this confident, shining pillar.
Not that it matters, as now that pillar is gone.
Her quirk allows her to help them cheat death, but only by a hair's width.
She can only delay it, but it will always come.
It is inevitable.
When her hero needed her the most, when he was a fraction of a second from the abyss...
She was too late.
Her husband comforted her as even he himself held back tears.
They both lost their hero.
Everyone else had as well.
Deku was gone...
