If the Signal Tower had a mouth, it probably would be grinning from ear to ear as it watched its eternal prisoner sit atop a wooden chair in a fetal position, trapped within a single, tiny room, doomed to rot for untold ages.
Invisible eyes stared down at the poor child through the concrete walls of his prison, with each and every one of them telling the poor boy that this was not the first time that this had happened.
They told him of a loop, a time loop of sorts, all orchestrated by the Signal Tower itself. They told him that his awakening within the forest, him meeting his one… 'friend' in The Hunter's house, the two of them making their way through the Pale City, his fateful confrontation with the one that went by the 'Thin Man', and most importantly of all… his friend betraying him when they were so close to escaping from a crumbling bridge… all of it had been preordained by the Signal Tower itself. Meticulously planned out so that it would all repeat for untold ages.
Once the child had finally accepted that fact, after the Signal Tower had forced him to watch past versions of himself trying and failing to destroy the Tower in past time loops, they then told him of what he would ultimately become. That the boy, the sweet, gentle, hopelessly optimistic young boy that remained trapped in the room… he would grow up inside it with no one by his side… no one but the all seeing eyes of the Signal Tower.
They told him of how the light would leave his eyes in the foreseeable future as he rotted in his new purgatory, how his mind would inevitably deteriorate, how his kind, gentle nature would crumble away as he grew old and jaded. His optimism would shatter, and his original goal of destroying the Tower itself would be forgotten, with him instead becoming its slave, its puppet, whether he liked it or not.
He didn't believe them at first. How could he? The boy had very little reason to do so… though when the Signal Tower had quite literally materialised a television in front of him to show him the truth behind its words, the boy fell silent before assuming a fetal position and bawling his eyes out.
He didn't want to believe it… but… he couldn't deny it either.
In the foreseeable future, he would quite literally become part of the very thing he had sworn to destroy in the first place… he would be the main cause of the time loop in the first place… and he would be the reason why this world, or at least the part of it that the Signal Tower reigned over, would never find peace.
As he let that information sink into his mind, the eyes of the Signal Tower gurgled out in glee as the poor child began to break down into tears. They knew how it ended. They knew how it always ended. Show him the evidence, and he breaks down. Two days thereafter, he'll remain in denial. Five days, he'll find his will wavering. One week in, and he'll grow hollow, with the loneliness of the room slowly but surely getting to him by then. And after a month, or, in some cases, five months?
He would have been broken, and by then, the Signal Tower could get to work molding him into the Thin Man and send him on his way to repeat this cycle.
Just… not before it suppressed some of his memories, of course. Wouldn't want its own slave to break the cycle, intentionally or not, after all.
By now, it had been roughly two months since the boy had been trapped within this room, and it became very obvious that his will to resist the Tower's words was slowly wavering. The light had all but left his eyes as he heard the eyes whisper sweet nothings into his ear, and as the seconds went by… he began to actually listen to them. Their words, while rather cruel and sounding as though they were nothing more than lies at first, now came across as genuine truths to the poor child, and it was a clear sign to the Signal Tower that he was about to break.
Disappointing… it wished to mess with the boy's mind for just a bit more… though it supposed it didn't matter. The next loop wouldn't take long to get to, after all…
As it continued to whisper sweet nothings and empty lies into the poor boy's ear, however… the Signal Tower took note of something… no… someone approaching the main door to the exterior of its body of brick and mortar. At first, it dismissed the entity's approach, with it considering the approaching entity to be nothing more than a Viewer, a faceless resident of the Pale City, having come too close to it. That wasn't exactly a rare occurrence, as those husks were known to travel to where the television signals were at their strongest, and as of now, the Signal Tower itself gave off the strongest signal in the entirety of the Pale City.
Typically, any Viewer that came close enough to the Signal Tower would simply wither away due to the intensity of its signal. However… the entity that had ventured so close to its body… so close to the signal… they showed no sign of weakening as they continued to approach it with malicious intent, and before long, the entity stopped not too far from the doors that led into the Signal Tower's interior and glared at it with the force of ten thousand supernovas.
Curiously, the Signal Tower had some of its eyes peer out at whoever this entity was through the brick and mortar of its disguise. When it did so, however, the eldritch abomination was noticeably surprised by the person that stood outside.
A man, no doubt, one that looked to be in his mid-thirties. He was blonde, with green eyes and a massive scar on the right side of his face, and just the sight of that scar alone was more than enough to tell the Signal Tower that this man was not to be trifled with. His attire was a strange uniform that appeared to be a sort of specialised air force pilot outfit. Primarily blue in colour, the outfit appeared rather skin tight, and the man held a strange looking helmet by his side as he pointed his index finger up at the Signal Tower in anger.
"I know of your true nature, tower, and I know of the child that you keep imprisoned within the confines of your disguise of brick and mortar! Set him free, and I will consider allowing you to remain intact!" proclaimed the blonde man, with him wasting no time for basic formalities as he bellowed out at the Signal Tower with prideful confidence. For its part, the eyes of the Signal Tower couldn't help but narrow at the brazen confidence of this man. If he knew of the Signal Tower's true nature, then to so willingly and shamelessly call it out on it was quite commendable!
Wait… did he just say that he knew of the kid that was trapped inside the Signal Tower? Now that was something that the it didn't expect. From time to time, in between the time loops it had devised, a handful of people who had not succumbed to the Signal Tower's influence did attempt to attack it directly. These attempts tended to go as well as trying to drain the ocean. What none of them knew of, however… as the trapped child, and as such, it made the Signal Tower extra curious as to who this blonde man was…
"You have but one chance to set the child free, eldritch fiend! If you do not, then I am bound by both honor and duty to do so myself!" continued the blonde man as he stepped closer to the Signal Tower's door, and once he was close enough, the apparent air force pilot held a fist up towards its door as a warning… and at that, the Signal Tower itself nearly burst out laughing in its own unique way.
What was this guy gonna do, punch its door down?"
"Your silence is enough of an answer to me! PREPARE YOURSELF!"
And at that… a loud BOOM could be heard, and the Signal Tower was no longer holding in its laughter when it realized that… shit… this guy really did just punch its main door down with his fists.
"WORRY NOT, SHONEN! FOR I, GRAHAM AKER, SHALL FREE YOU FROM THIS TORMENTING CYCLE!"
And to say that shit escalated quickly from that point on… would be a fucking understatement.
The path of Bushido that Graham Aker had taken in his past was, admittedly, an embarrassing mark in his life… though with that said, it did come with its benefits.
One such benefit was the ability to punch through fucking concrete with relative ease. Indeed, with the abilities of Bushido on his side, Graham Aker was able to use nothing but his own two fists to bust down the walls of the Signal Tower with little to no problems! Truly, a wonderful discovery!
The first thing that Graham Aker had torn down with his own two fists were the doors that kept him from entering the Signal Tower's interior. A single strike from his Bushido empowered fist obliterated the doors, telling him that the Tower itself would be an easy foe. One that could not withstand such a novice strike wasn't even worth blunting a blade on!
Of course… with that being said, according to an… acquaintance of his, this Tower was an eldritch god of sorts. Graham preferred to call it an unworthy foe, though he supposed that he could give it the benefit of the doubt for now as he sprinted through the Signal Tower's interior. The hairs on the back of his scarred back stood on end as he felt an unknown force staring at him from behind the walls of the Signal Tower's interior, though for the most part he ignored the feeling as he kept his focus on sprinting through the tower to find the young man trapped within.
As he sprinted through corridor after corridor, however, Graham eventually found himself returning to familiar parts of the Signal Tower's interior, much to his annoyance. Perhaps this was what his acquaintance had told him of? The ability to bend space and time seemed to be something the Signal Tower was capable of doing, after all. Though by all means… if this was the full extent of the Tower's abilities, then it was rather laughable…
Sure, he could just punch his way through the walls, though he didn't wish to risk bringing the structure down prematurely. That could potentially kill the young man trapped within, after all!
Rather abruptly, however, right as Graham was making good progress within the Tower's interior, a strange figure made its appearance! It appeared to be a child of sorts, one composed entirely of static as it emerged from the ground. Slowly but surely, it got up to its feet and began wobbling towards the Solbrave Commander awkwardly, though it was very quickly taken care of when Graham Aker took in a deep breath and rocketed his fist down towards the Glitching Remain.
The moment the Commander's fist had made contact with the Glitching Remain's head, it fizzled from existence as it fell back, and though subtle, the Signal Tower could be heard groaning a little as Graham Aker continued onwards.
Elsewhere
With a soft squeak of terror, a girl with twin pigtails flew out of a television screen before falling onto the ground in an awkward tumble. Gasping in shock thereafter, she quickly got back up to her feet and saw that she was now in a room… an empty one at that.
'What… happened?' thought the Pigtailed girl as blood dripped from her nose. She wiped it from her lips rather nonchalantly as she stared around the room in confusion. She remembered digging with a spoon… only to be caught by The Doctor thereafter. Everything that happened after that was incredibly hazy to her…
"YOU COWARD! IF YOU WISH TO REMOVE ME FROM YOUR INTERIOR, THEN SHOW YOURSELF AND FACE ME WITHOUT HIDING BEHIND YOUR GLITCHING SUBORDINATES!"
The fuck was that?
Curiously, the Pigtailed girl turned her attention towards the TV she was just thrown out of. Her brows were raised quite far up her face when she saw a rather handsome man sprinting through the interior of a building, punching Glitching Remains in the face whenever he had to. He seemed to be looking for something, though whatever that something was eluded the Pigtailed girl as she found herself subconsciously sitting down and watching the TV.
'It wouldn't hurt to watch a little bit…'
Anyways-
"HAM KICK!"
As he yelled out that admittedly corny attack name, Graham Aker launched his leg out at another Glitching Remain, kicking it back with the power of corniness and Bushido as it dissolved into nothing.
Another Glitching Remain was eliminated with a backhand from the Solbrave Commander, and another was poofed out of existence when he elbowed them in the face. Such unworthy opponents… if he were still in his Bushido mindset, Graham reckoned that he wouldn't even bother to bloody his knuckles on them… not that it was possible at the moment as his knuckles were protected by the padded gloves of his pilot suit… but now, he acknowledged them as potential threats and was more than willing to eliminate them to in order to avoid a tussle with them after he had found the young man trapped in here.
While he could deal with them with little issue, he didn't wish to risk the life of the young man by leaving any of these Glitching Remains alive.
Slowly but surely, the amount of Glitching Remains grew in quantity as Graham ventured deeper into the Signal Tower. Upon noticing this, the Solbrave Commander reckoned that he was getting close to his objective thanks to the increased… resistance. Of course, he didn't have much time to ponder that fact as he continued one-hit-killing these Glitching Remains with little to no issue. Hell, by the time he had reached a long, narrow corridor that led to an old, run down door, Graham Aker had probably eliminated an entire army's worth of Glitching Remains!
"Haha! I have yet to lose my touch, even after dying!" proclaimed Graham Aker proudly as he approached the door that was in front of him with a steady stride. When he took a step forward, however, Graham was forced to stop when he saw the walls of the corridor crumble and make way for several fleshy walls with eyes that were glaring at him in a mixture of anger and irritation. The pilot was momentarily stunned by this, though before long, he allowed a grin to appear on his face as his more… Sentimental Virgo personality shone through. "So you finally show your true form, you eldritch abomination!"
A gurgle from the wall of flesh that was once hidden under the concrete told Graham that it wasn't exactly happy, to say the least, as the Solbrave Commander sprung forward, with him leaping into the air in order to avoid a fleshy tendril that was shot his way. Several more came after him, though the Legendary Flag Fighter was able to evade almost all of them before one managed to snag onto his leg. The tendril was able to stop him from moving just long enough for several more tendrils to wrap around Graham's body and encase him in a fleshy cocoon.
And for a brief few seconds… things were rather calm as the eyes 'sighed' in relief at the fact that their intruder had been subdued. They would need to deal with him very carefully, for he was incredibly-
"HOOOOOOOOOOO. NYUUKON!"
-powerful.
With a powerful yell, the fleshy cocoon that encased Graham Aker exploded outwards, sending blood and flesh flying everywhere as the former Flag Fighter flexed his arms out to his side, striking a pose as his entire body found itself surrounded by a ghostly purple aura. Noticing this, the eyes that were staring at him widened as they watched him turn on his heel and charge towards the door to their prisoner's room, with them remaining so shocked at what they had just witnessed that they didn't even stop Graham as he slammed into the door with his shoulder, knocking it off its hinges all the while.
And when the door quite literally flew off its hinges, the boy in the chair cried out in terror as he jumped off the top of his chair and hid behind it out of fear.
"Ah… so that's how it feels to get my blood boiling!" proclaimed the one who had knocked the door off its hinges as he got himself up to his feet and brushed the dust off his pilot outfit. Once he was up, the man turned on his heel and saw that the eyes had finally managed to snap out of their stupor and were now approaching him, and out of instinct, he took the door that he had just knocked off its hinges and placed it back against its frame. A mild thud could be heard when the flesh of the Signal Tower smacked eye-first into the door which, surprisingly enough, held up against the force of an eldritch god.
Chuckling a little to himself thereafter, the blonde man in the suit, after locking the door for some extra assurance, turned his attention to the interior of the room and scanned it swiftly. It took him less than a few seconds to take note of the boy that was hiding from him, however, and at that, the man's grin widened as he approached the child swiftly.
"Shonen!" greeted the man boisterously as he approached the boy with a brisk walk, though as he did so, the child squeaked in fear as he jumped back and landed on his rear. Blinking a little at that, the soldier winced as he held a hand out towards the boy, with him lowering the volume of his voice all the while. "Ah… I apologise, Shonen. I did not mean to frighten you."
Crouching down a little, the soldier held one of his hands out closer towards the frightened boy in an effort to calm him down. For a few seconds, the child didn't seem to trust him, though when he took note of the genuine tone that the blonde soldier was speaking in, coupled with the look that he was giving him, a look that promised him of better things to come, the boy decided to, at the very least, hear the blonde man out as he stared at him curiously. Noticing that he had his attention, the soldier's smile widened a little as he continued, though he didn't let it widen too much as he didn't wish to scare the child more than necessary.
"Allow me to introduce myself, Shonen. I am Graham Aker, leader of the Solbrave Squadron! I have been sent here by someone you may be familiar with to save you from this accursed time loop!" explained the soldier, Graham, as he clenched one of his hands into a fists, and at that, the boy appeared rather confused as he tilted his head off to one side in a truly adorable fashion. Graham chuckled briefly at that before he held his hand once more, and though the child flinched, at least he didn't stumble away like last time, Aker reckoned. "We have not much time, Shonen! We must leave right away!
"You…" began the boy, with his course and raspy voice telling Graham Aker that he had not spoken in a very long time. Hell… it made him wonder when was the last time he had drank water! Still, he didn't voice that thought out as he listened. "Y-You… you're here… t-to s-s-save me…?"
"Indeed, Shonen! I am here to save you! Now, let us go!" urged Graham, smiling as he offered a thumbs up. And though he was still a little hesitant, the boy nodded nervously and took his larger hand with his, and without a second thought, Graham Aker pulled the boy up and cradled him in his right arm, prompting him to gasp in shock all the while. "We have no time to waste, Shonen! Let us-"
"M… M-Mono…" piped up the boy, to which Graham raised a brow as he glanced down at the child.
"Pardon?" muttered Graham, confused as to what the child was saying, prompting him to repeat himself with more clarity.
"Mono… my name. It's not Shonen… it's… Mono!" replied the boy, Mono, as Graham nodded in understanding.
"I see! Now then, Mono! Let us leave!" proclaimed Graham Aker as he turned towards the locked door… and he was quick to notice that it was gone, replaced with a solid brick wall, a sight that made Mono slouch his shoulders.
"Oh… I guess we're not leaving then," commented Mono disheartedly as he slouched his shoulders weakly. Graham didn't like that tone of voice, that defeated, depressed tone of voice! How wretched! The Signal Tower has done so much harm to this poor child!
"Don't count on it, Mono! If there is a will, there shall always be a way!" proclaimed Graham as he clenched his left fist tightly, and as he did so, a powerful purple aura began to engulf his body. It was so strong that even Mono, who wasn't used to detecting the presence of magic, could feel it, prompting him to widen his eyes in shock. "After all, we have the power of BUSHIDO on our side!"
"Bu...shido?" muttered Mono in confusion, and right as those words left his mouth, Graham Aker lunged forward and slammed his left fist into the wall where the door once was, much to Mono's shock. "WAIT WHAT ARE YOU-"
"GRAM PUNCH!"
WHAT THE FUCK WAS GOING ON?!
That man… Graham Aker! Was he even human at this point?!
The fact that he could even resist the Signal that the Tower was giving off was shocking enough, but that was only the tip of the fucking iceberg! Whenever he punched one of those Glitching Remains, he would shunt the person that the Glitching Remain used to be back into the world of the living! How was that even possible?!
WAS THIS THE POWER OF BUSHIDO THAT HE SPOKE OF?!
But not only that, but he had also managed to break out of its physical stranglehold after it had shed its concrete exterior to strike at him directly! No living being that wasn't an eldritch monster like it was could do that! So seriously, was Graham Aker even a human at this point?!
There was no time to think about all this, it would seem, as Graham Aker now had custody of Mono! The Signal Tower needed that kid to keep itself powered, dammit! It couldn't allow the former Flag Fighter to just escape its interior with him!
Of course, that was a lot easier said than done, as Graham Aker, even whilst holding onto the Shonen that he was rescuing, was incredibly agile. The Tower was now shedding the concrete that lined the walls of its interior in the hopes of trapping Graham and Mono within itself, though it was all for naught as the Solbrave Commander's legs moved much faster than the Signal Tower was used to.
"Y-You're very fast, Mister…!" proclaimed Mono as Graham Aker charged up the stairs of the Signal Tower. The original plan was to exit through the busted down front door, something that any sane person would do, though regrettably, the path to that exit had been sealed off by the Signal Tower's fleshy interior. Graham had complete confidence in him breaking through it, though he didn't wish to put Mono at risk as he knew that the Tower was capable of creating tendrils to lash out at opponents.
He would rather not have this child be taken away from him so soon, after all! He had only just rescued him for crying out loud!"
"Ah, thank you, Shonen!" proclaimed Graham out of instinct as he leapt up the stairs before they could crumble. They were probably on the Signal Tower's third floor by now, and the Solbrave Commander showed no signs of exhaustion as they sprinted through it. "And allow me to introduce myself once more! I am the Commander of the Earth Sphere Federation Army, GRAHAM AKER!"
As he yelled that, Graham leapt up into the air and slammed his knee into a wall. He shielded Mono from the debris as the wall broke on impact, though Aker himself showed no sign of pain or exhaustion as he continued on, much to Mono's amazement.
"A-Amazing! A-Are you s-some sort of superhero, M-Mr Graham?" asked Mono, with his voice reflecting his awe as he watched the man in question smirk and clench his left fist tightly. As he did so, a purple aura surrounded his fist as he sprung forward.
"Superhero? Not quite, Shonen! I am but a Sentimental Virgo, a soldier that hails from another world! One that has been brought here by the thin thread of destiny in order to free you from this cycle!" proclaimed Graham as he lunged for the wall in front of him and pulled his fist back. Mono was quick to widen his eyes, however, when the light of the Signal Tower's interior shone down behind Graham Aker as he lunged forwards… and truth be told, he looked properly heroic as he smiled bravely and slammed his fist forwards.
"Now come, let us free you from this madness!"
And with that said, Graham slammed his fist into the wall ahead, and thereafter, both Mono and himself were sent flying out of the Signal Tower's third floor and down towards the pavement of the Pale City.
On impact with the ground, Graham Aker landed on one knee, with his landing being more than enough to crack the concrete beneath his feet all the while. Mono squeaked in shock as they landed, though he calmed himself down when he realized that they were safe.
"Mono, Shonen! Are you well?" asked Graham as he glanced down at the child that was cradled in his arms. At that, the boy in question, with him slowly but surely allowing the adrenaline to leave his systems, nodded awkwardly as a mild blush made its way onto his face. This was… strange. He felt like a damsel being saved by a knight… and honestly, he didn't mind it…
"Y-Yes… Mr Graham… I-" began Mono as the soldier in question set him on the ground gently. As he did so, he brushed the dust off the child's trench coat before shushing him.
"There is no need for pleasantries, Shonen. I hold neither rank nor reputation here, and as such, you may simply refer to me as Graham Aker from here on out," assured Graham as he smiled at Mono. In return, the child, despite not understanding more than half of what the older man had said, understood enough as he nodded and smiled a little at Graham, who, in turn, began to observe the child more closely as he rubbed his chin.
Due to how the two of them couldn't stop to chat prior to now, Graham didn't exactly get the chance to take note of the finer details of Mono's appearance. He knew about his olive coloured trench coat as that was impossible to miss alongside his short, messy black hair, though now that things were calmer, Graham took note of Mono's dark brown eyes and his hollowed cheeks. Dark rings encircled the child's eyes and, from what he could see, the poor child was as skinny as a stick, perhaps even more so, a fact that made the soldier grimace as he looked away briefly.
'What horrors has this child faced to have become like this?!' thought Graham as he shook his head and turned back to Mono, with him forcing a smile onto his face as he stared at him earnestly. 'No, now is not the time to dwell on such thoughts! I must bring this child to safety and-'
And right as the thought came to mind, the Signal Tower quite literally exploded, sending chunks of debris flying everywhere as Graham and Mono gasped in shock. Swiftly, Graham scooped the Shonen up into his arms and sprinted away from the falling debris. Thankfully enough, he managed to avoid having either one of them crushed under the chunks of concrete that were falling towards the ground, though as soon as the debris had stopped falling, both Graham and Mono turned on their heels to see that the Signal Tower had completely shed its outer, concrete layer.
What remained when the outer layer was shed was… horrific, to say the least. A massive… blob of flesh and eyes, the 'Signal Tower's' entire body began to pulse in anger as its many eyes scanned the horizon for Graham Aker and Mono. Not even a few seconds later, however, every last one of the eyes locked onto the two that they were looking for.
Glaring down at them with malicious intent, the 'Signal Tower' sharpened its gaze and sent a powerful signal burst towards both Graham and Mono. The Shonen was noticeably taken aback by the powerful signal burst as he held the sides of his head in pain, though as for Graham, he simply held a hand up as the signal burst began to push him backwards.
The ground and buildings around both Graham Aker and Mono began to tear themselves apart as the signal burst became stronger and stronger, though the Solbrave Commander didn't let it deter him as he remained firm and resolute against the 'Signal Tower's' attack. And, before long… the signal burst weakened as the massive blob of flesh and eyes pulsated swiftly, a sign of exhaustion as it had (presumably) used its most powerful attack on them.
Wait… that was its most powerful attack…?
"How feeble!" taunted Graham as Mono remained hidden behind him. Strangely enough, Graham's entire body seemed to act as a shield against the Signal Tower's attacks. It had made the signal burst bearable for Mono as he suspected that, should he have tanked that attack without the help of his savior, Mono would've been annihilated right there and then.
'H-How strong are you, Graham Aker…?' wondered Mono as he watched Graham's smile widen as swung his arm out to the side dramatically.
"Eldritch god of a time long forgotten, you who continues to exploit the souls of the helpless, you do not belong in this world!" chanted Graham as, up in the sky, a spark could be seen… a spark that was swiftly closing in on the ground as Graham spoke. "My intentions when I first arrived were clear! I wished to free the child from your grasp! When my goal was complete, I would have happily left you alone, to prepare for our inevitable battle against one another!
"However, it has become clear to me that you will not leave this child alone, not unless you are struck down! And as such, I, GRAHAM AKER, SHALL RISE TO THE CHALLENGE AND STRIKE YOU DOWN MYSELF!"
And with that, Graham pointed his left index finger up into the air as he spoke. Curiously, the Signal Tower followed his finger and stared up at the sky, and likewise, Mono did as well, and what they saw… shocked them, to say the least…
"LOOK TO THE SKIES, WRETCHED BEAST, FOR IT IS BURNING RED!"
And seconds later… the clouds above him parted as a massive blue and black robot that stood at nearly 20 fucking metres landed behind Graham Aker. Mono's eyes widened so intensely that his eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets, though as for Graham himself, he allowed his smirk to widen as he scooped Mono up into his arms and leapt up into the opened cockpit of his Mobile Suit.
Yes. the madman managed to leap up over 18 fucking metres into the air. What a legend.
Landing in his cockpit, Graham reclined himself on the cockpit seat before he grabbed onto the arm controllers for his Mobile Suit. A quick system check told him that everything was functioning as intended, prompting him to smirk widely as he moved to position Mono on his lap awkwardly and strap him on with a seatbelt that just so happened to be a function of his Mobile Suit's cockpit.
"Here, wear this. It will protect you, Shonen!" urged Graham as he slid the standard issue Solbrave helmet onto Mono's head. The boy gasped a little as he did so, though he didn't object to it as his old hobby of collecting hats came to mind, prompting him to smile a little as his head was once again hidden under an object.
How… nostalgic… though then again, that nostalgia did bring back some unpleasant memories…
Thankfully enough, however, said memories were cut short when Graham shifted his Mobile Suit a little. Mono gasped as the cockpit shook intensely as Graham had his unit leap backwards to avoid being hit by another signal burst, with the unit landing atop a close by building as it crossed its arms and struck an epic pose.
Through the hole in the clouds above them, the sunlight shone down on the Mobile Suit, allowing the Signal Tower to take note of its twin antennas, the yellow 'mask' that shielded its monoeye, the Side Binders mounted on its back alongside the Beam Rifle that was strapped onto its lower left leg.
This thing… it looked… dangerous, and the Signal Tower knew that as it shuddered.
"Behold, the strength of the Solbraves… the strength of its leader… the strength of the BRAVE COMMANDER TEST TYPE!"
And seconds later, the Mobile Suit… the GNX-903VW Brave commander Test Type, lunged forwards as a scar pattern appeared on the left side of its Luminescent Facial Cover.
What's this? An April Fools story that went too far?
Yep.
That's what this is.
