this is my first time writing a fan fiction! Any suggestions would be helpful. I don't own Naruto Shippuden.

Chapter 1: After the mission...

After the mission was over, Team 7 (Naruto, Sakura, and Sai) went to report to the Fifth Hokage. As Sakura knocked on the door, the Fifth Hokage lifted her head up after writing different reports.

"Come in." Lady Tsunade said calmly.

As they walked in, only Sakura and Sai walked in, dragging a spy from the Village Hidden in Sound in Sakura's fist. But, as they walked into Tsunade's office, they looked a bit concerned.

"How did the mission go? Where's Naruto?" She questioned as she tried to look between the two.

"Well, how do I put it? We was able to catch the spy but he cast a jutsu on Naruto." Sakura said sheepishly.

"Well, what happened?" Tsunade questioned.

As she got done speaking, she heard a cat noise of some type. As Sakura and Sai moved over, Naruto came crawling on his knees, but he had cat ears coming out of his head and a waving tail behind him. His eye pupil was no longer a small circle, but shaped like a diamond. He was still a human, but he somehow had the attributes and behaviors of a cat.

"How did this happen?" Tsunade questioned as she stood from her desk to to look at Naruto.

Flashback:

"Hurry before he gets away!" Naruto yelled as Sakura and Sai followed behind him as they flew through the trees.

As the enemy flew through the trees, Naruto started to throw multiple kunai knives at the enemy until one hit in in the leg. As the kunai cut through his leg, he instantly had to land on the ground in order to avoid hitting any trees. As he landed, Naruto and the others were right behind him also landing. But as he sat down, he pulled out a scroll of some type and unraveled it, revealing a Transformation jutsu of some type.

"Not so fast!" Naruto yelled as he went to go grab the enemy.

"Naruto hold on!" Sakura yelled as she tried to stop Naruto.

But, it was too late. As Naruto grabbed the spy, the enemy already activated the jutsu. As the jutsu was taking place, Sai drew out his snakes to restrain the enemy so that way he couldn't escape as clouds formed from the scroll. As the clouds finally cleared, it revealed that the enemy was captured, but Naruto was knocked out. As the enemy tried to destroy the snakes, Sakura came over and injected some type of drug to knock the enemy out.

"What kind of jutsu is this?" Sai stated out loud as he examined Naruto.

As Sakura looked at Naruto with the enemy in her hands, her eyes widened and her mouth fell open. Naruto had the attributes of a cat. He had cat ears that matched the color of his hair coming out of his ears, a long fluffy tail wrapping around his leg, and he was purring in his sleep! Yet somehow, he still had a human body.

End of Flashback:

"I see, so thats what happened?" Tsunade said as she examined him up close on the ground.

"Yes." Sai answered.

As Tsunade examined Naruto up close for a bit, Naruto started to move away from her a bit and hang his head low with his ears moving down. But after a few seconds, he looked up at her again.

"What happened to me? Why am I so tired nya?" Naruto said as he ruffled his hair and ears.

After he felt his ears, he came to a complete stop. He sat there confused as of why he felt ears while rubbing his hair.

"Sakura, did something happen to me on the mission?" Naruto asked as he stood to look at Sakura.

"Well, I feel you should take a look yourself." She said as she pulled out a small mirror.

As Naruto took the mirror to take a look, he was instantly shocked at what he saw. He seen that he had thick, blonde cat ears, his pupils were the same shape of a cat, and he had a fluffy, blonde tail behind him.

"The enemy that you tried to tackle cast some type of animal transformation jutsu on you." Sai stated as he looked at Naruto.

"Is there any way to undo this jutsu Grandma?!?!" Naruto said in shock.

"Right now, probably not. I'll find a way to undo the jutsu. But for now, your mission is to watch over Naruto until I find some way to undo the jutsu. Also, I'll assign Hinata to the mission too for extra help." Lady Tsunade stated.

After Lady Tsunade gave them orders, they left her office to go notify Hinata of the mission. After a few minutes, they finally arrived at Hinata's house. As they knocked in the door, they were greeted with Neji.

"Hi Neji, I have a question is Hinata here?" Sakura asked Neji.

"Yes she's here. I'll go get her." Neji stated as he walked away.

After a few seconds, Sakura and the others are greeted with Hinata's presence.

"Good afternoon Sakura, how are you?" Hinata said happily.

"I'm doing okay. Lady Tsuande assigned a mission to us three. The mission is to take care of Naruto because earlier on our mission, the enemy cast some type of animal transformation jutsu on him. And the problems is Tsunade doesn't have an exact way to cancel the jutsu." Sakura explained to Hinata.

"Oh dear, is Naruto okay?" Hinata said in shocked.

"Yeah, he's right here." Sai stated as he revealed Naruto.

"Hi Hinata, nya!" Naruto said as he waved.

"N N Naruto! Did you turn into a cat?!?" Hinata said in shock as her cheeks turned pink.

"Yeah sorta." Naruto said sheepishly.

"Well, if you want to, you can stay here for now." Hinata said as she smiled. "We have extra bedrooms here for you to use."

"Really?! Thanks Hinata!" Sakura and Naruto said as they bowed.

"No problem, you guys can get some of your clothes together and come here and Naruto can stay here." Hinata said as she let Naruto in.

Before Naruto went in, he gave Sakura the key to his apartment so she can pick up a few outfits and pajamas for him.

"Oh, before we go, I have to warn you. Naruto also may behave like a cat time to time so just keep a close watch on him." Sakura said as she waved to get her clothes and Naruto clothes.

"Thanks for letting me know, see you guys in a bit." Hinata waved to Sakura and Sai.
