Hello! Welcome to the prologue the new series Chronicles Of The Hidden/CotH. This will be getting pretty wild. I wouldn't say quite that it's an AU or even a Headcanon, it's just an idea. Keep in mind that the main villain of this story, if you don't really know the game that well. Isn't an actual villain, and I don't dislike her. Matter of fact she's one of my favorites. But it makes a good story. This was inspired by the song Villain by KDA. The entire series here actually is inspired off of it. But I hope you enjoy! Also! There will be little markings stating which part the characters will play. These will be referred to in chapter titles.

Villain Of Manipulation

A chess board was set out in front of her, it only existed in her mind but she carefully moved the pieces. Every piece was a pawn, except for one. A queen. The opposition's side was pretty much gone.

"Checkmate." Linne spoke calmly.

The Night before was what lead her to her finishing stance, backed into a corner, Hyde was forced to kill Hilda. In the fight, Seth who had tried to help had gotten injured. However, after the fight he started whispering something to Hyde. Hyde seemed to be unwilling to listen to whatever it was he was saying, which made Linne wonder what had popped up in Seth's mind. Linne didn't know what he tried to tell Hyde, and Hyde refused to tell her, almost as if some part of him believed what Seth said, but didn't want to. This actually worried her, as she had no idea as to what Seth put in Hyde's head. This messed with her plans, a lot.

Heroic Confused Puppet

"You have to kill her, she isn't who I thought she was, she's using you. I'll tell you anything and everything I know, but you have to kill her."

The words still were stuck in Hyde's head, it didn't make sense. Seth was suddenly so different. He seemed worried for him, but still... Trying to convince him to kill Linne? That was strange, especially since Seth was so determined to be the one who killed her. But when he looked at Seth's eyes, he could see that there was some reason, something he was scared to say. His eyes weren't normal, he seemed scared and worried. But Hyde still believed he could trust Linne.

"Have you lost it? What's up with you?"

"She isn't who I thought, she's not who you think she is. Please, just listen to me about this. She's using you like she was using me, I don't know what she's planning... But you have to kill her before she succeeds."

Hyde watched as Seth turned and left, his injuries were bad enough to keep him from fighting, but not so bad that he would stay and let someone take care of him. Hyde was worried about what caused Seth to flip like this, but he hoped everything was okay.

Chained Puppet

The memories of the last Night still made him shiver, he was laying on his bed. He couldn't clear his mind, and he was tired. Chaos said he was worried about him as he'd checked on him that morning, he couldn't sleep.

"I hope he listens... I wish I had realized sooner, but it's a good thing I think... Because I was around to warn Hyde."

Seth curled up in his blanket, he was worried about Hyde. He didn't know if Hyde would listen to his warning, and if he didn't the very strings Linne had tied around him would soon be the same strings that dragged Hyde to his destruction. Because he couldn't take being alone like Seth could. Seth was used to it, but he knew if Hyde was forced into his position, it would break him.

"If he can't kill her, then I will still have to be the one who pays the price. I have to stop Linne before she ruins his life."

Voices started to whisper in his head and he sighed.

"Not even a day, I suppose." Seth said.

Seth sighed, the voices ordered so many different things. He wanted to rest, but he couldn't.

Just a quick Prologue, go ahead and follow this because the Chronicles Of The Hidden will not slow down! Okay probably it will but I will try to keep this up.
