"At long last!" Deadpool yelled. "It's been way too damn long since we did this!"
"I know, chum." The Mask agreed. "I missed doing these introductions."
"Yeah, yeah." Deadpool replied. "We doin' this or not?"
"We sure are, chum!" The Mask replied. "Let's start this fucking game night!"
After months, the residents of Show Town regathered at Town Hall for more game nights.
"It's been way too long!" Porcupiney spoke out.
"Since that big karaoke finale last time, I've missed doing these." Hugo added.
"We have sandviches to celebrate!" Heavy exclaimed.
"I love sandwiches." Burping Herbert replied.
"Hey, has anyone seen Terry?" Jerry asked.
Terry rushed to the others, holding a watermelon with a mop on top of it.
"Hey guys." He greeted. "Check out my new girlfriend."
"That's a watermelon, Jerry." Sherri replied.
"Nuh uh." Terry replied. "This is Maria. She's my girlfriend."
"No, that's something you made in art class earlier this morning." Marcus replied.
"Shut up, Marcus!" Terry replied.
"Everyone, I'm unlocking the doors!" The Mask announced, removing the lock on the door.
The doors opened, and everyone rushed inside. There was a giant TV, and multiple consoles. Classic and modern.
"This place is bigger than I was expecting." Furrball informed.
"It's awesome!" Plucky exclaimed.
"Hey yo, red man." Scout informed Deadpool. "Whose gaming first?"
"Funny you should ask that." Deadpool replied. "You and your girl will be playing Among Us. Fitting since it recently got the Airship Update."
"Somebody page me?" Tracer greeted. "Well luv, looks like we got the first game."
"Hell yeah, babe." Scout replied. "It's that alien game, with the Airship update."
"Among Us?" Tracer replied. "Alright, let's give it a whirl."
They booted up the game on the Nintendo Switch. Although, it was taking a bit long to load
"Look at that, babe." Terry informed the watermelon. "Among Us. It's a fun game."
"Terry, what is with that melon?" Rita's Mom asked. "And why does it have a mop on it?"
"This is my new girlfriend, mom." Terry replied.
"It's something he made in art class, Mrs Rita's Mom." Zack informed. "He was so proud of it, he took it everywhere with him."
"I can barely see the face." Prince Pong added.
"He drew a face on it with crayon." Princess Pong explained. "He tried to use felts, but it was too messy."
"Terry, this is silly." Rita's Mom informed.
"Well, I love her more than you love Haztim." Terry replied. "Besides, you don't see us making those strange loud noises from your room last night."
Rita's Mom looked nervous.
"You... must of been hearing things." She replied.
"On that same night, your room smelt like sweat." Jerry added. "And there was mayonnaise on the floor."
"Uhh, should we go see a film after this?" Haztim offered.
"The game's done loading!" Scout replied.
They set it for two imposters, and chose the Airship stage.
"Hey, it's exactly like the Henry Stickmin Collection!" Beary pointed out.
To the surprise of the pair of them, they were coincidentally both chosen as the imposters.
"Ha-ha!" Scout laughed. "Looks like we're the imposters!"
"Fitting, eh luv?" Tracer replied.
Scout chose the Engine Room, while Tracer chose Records.
"No spider on a stick?" Tracer groaned. "That's bloody disappointing."
"I know." Scout agreed. "But at least we can customize ourselves to look like member of the Toppat Clan."
Another player came into the Records Room, which Tracer quickly killed, only for two more players to come in.
"Ah bollocks!" Tracer exclaimed.
"She got found out, Maria." Terry talked to the watermelon.
"Terry, that's a watermelon!" Rita exclaimed.
On the voting, the majority of players voted for Tracer.
"Aw jeez." She sighed.
"Tracer was an Imposter." The game read. "1 Imposter remains."
"Don't worry, babe." Scout replied. "I know what to do."
Scout sabotaged the oxygen in the game. However, just as it was about to reach one second, a window shattered.
"Maria, has you family come to see...?" Terry was about to ask the watermelon.
"TERRY, IT'S A FUCKING WATERMELON!" Yelled Rita.
The one who burst through the window was Henry Stickmin, who grabbed the Nintendo Switch, and ran out with it, but not before blasting Terry's watermelon 'girlfriend' with a mysterious gun.
"Maria!" Terry exclaimed.
"Dude, she's a goddamn watermelon!" Jerry replied.
Suddenly, the watermelon came to life. It was bouncing around, carrying a knife. It looked like it was about to kill everyone.
"Evil watermelon!" Heavy yelled, mowing the melon down with his minigun.
Maria was the Imposter.
Heavy and Burping Herbert started eating the remains of the melon, while Terry watched in astonishment.
"What just happened?" He asked.
Scout came back into Town Hall, with the Nintendo Switch.
"I got it from him." He informed. "Chased him down, bonked him on the head."
"That's good to know, luv." Tracer replied. "At least the Toppat Clan didn't come."
The moment Tracer said that, the sounds of whooshing was heard outside. Everyone looked outside to see the Toppat Clan's Airship whooshing towards Town Hall. Tracer and Scout looked at each other with determined looks. They clocked their guns, ready to battle against the Toppats.
Well, this was quite a premier chapter, wasn't it? Although, while I have the chapters planned (thanks to RedHood123), I still need more running gags for the other stories.
One chapter has a running gag each. Terry dating the watermelon was this chapter's running gag. I'll make a list of running gags I have planned in Just Random Things.
See you all in the next chapter.
