Bear with me and my writing, this is new to me... and I want it to be great.

Liam hated moving, it was the worst part of being a foster kid. However he knew it was for the best, so he did not complain. It got him away from his parents and that was always a good thing. The only real issue was that, as far as Google was concerned, there was nothing to do in Forks, Washington, It was a bland, empty town with a small populace and constant rain or snow. He had no idea why the Foster system sent him there but it did and so he was there...

Still, he would make the best of it as much as he could and try to make some friends, maybe get a boyfriend ( He doubted that one, but hey it could happen!) and do a lot of who knew what! Maybe there was a lot of potential there in Forks, just waiting to be tapped into!

'Yeah right.' He thought as he pulled his stuff from his garbage bag, packing it into his new dresser, a dresser provided by Mac and Wilma Macadoo, his newest foster parents. 'Chances are, I'll be stuck here, doing basically nothing, just waiting to graduate and move out on my own. Which isn't too bad an option all it's own.'

Twisting his fingers towards his door, he locked it with the tinniest swirl of his mind. Closing his eyes but opening his mind, he allowed a spell to flow from his finger tips, one that would push away his fosterparents for the next hour or so, that way he could be alone for some time. A perk of being a witch, one of many really. Flopping onto his genuinely comfortable bed, the young witch closed his eyes once more and just let himself feel the flow of nature, the magic of Fork that lingered in the air, the ground and the constant pitter patter of rain.

"This place has a lot more power then Portland... must be the more preserved land... maybe the rain? Who knows." Happy, he turned over and rolled off his bed, grabbing his chest from his bag where he hid his more mystical igrediants. It had been three years since he started to practice, and thanks to that he never felt the need to worry or fear. It was a wonderful feeling really, but he knew it wasn't always the wisest so he had gotten really good at protection spells.

Grabbing out some rose petals, dried naturally, he crushed them into the small mortar he had, mixing a single droplet of his blood and a tiny portion of sage. Moving his hands over thte mixture, he caused a tiny fire to burn reducing the mixture to ash and smoke, smoke he breathed in before breathing it out in his room. The magic imbued smoke marged into the walls, into the windows, rippling with the simplest of protections spells he could cast.

"There, nice and safe... I need some more ingrediants to cast a better protection spell but that should keep out or at least alert me to vamps and any other creepy crawly about. This place is literally perfect for Vamps trying to hide in the day." Smiling, he decided to go for a walk, happy to actually enjoy the rainy place that was Forks.

"Wow, so much rain... and look a cop car." All but skipping down the street, he smiled at the man and girl coming out of the car. "Hi there."

He apparently startled the two people, as they both jumped, turning to him with a scowl. "Who are you?" The man asked, he was dressed like a cop with a mustache and a general air of magic about him. Liam knew he would or could be a great candidate for magic, not a lot of people had auras so pure.

Then there was the girl, kind of average with nice cheekbones and beautiful brown eyes, who oozed magic on a scale that was shocking. It took a moment to look at it though, like it was being covered up by something. He could barely see it but when he focused, even for a moment, it was blinding. She would make a scarily powerful witch but he knew she was untapped.

"I'm Liam, I just moved in with the Macadoos, next door."

The man nodded. "Names Charlie, I'm the local Sheriff. This is my daughter, Bella."

The girl, who was quiet, nodded and it was only then that he noticed that she was injured, with a cast on her leg. She looked tired too, worn out from her injury and all that it brought with it. "Hi." She bit her lip a little, nervous and unsure of herself. It was kind of cute really.

Smiling, he focused on a sliver of power and breathed it out at her, where it came out as a warm puff of air that clouded in the air. Neither Charlie or Bella noticed anything weird about it, since it was cold out anyway, so the magic successfully made it to the girl giving her a boost of strength that seemed to make her stand straighter, looking up at him with an actual smile. It was a nice sight.

"Nice to meet you. I was just going for a walk when I..." A wash of cold made him shiver and stumble, just as a really nice car drove up. An extremely beautiful girl opened it up, she was tiny and thin but perfectly built so that even his gay little heart pittered at the sight of her. She looked like a pixie, a fairy. She was perfect. And she was definitly a vampire, with her golden eyes and cold aura... and apparently, from her aura, she had witch powers like he had before she turned. She oozed power, she was by far the strongest non newborn vamp he had ever met. "Hiya..." He tried to hide his fear, and he thought he did a good job since he didn't run screaming.

The beautiful creature turned to him, smiling radiantly. "Hi, and you are?"

"Liam, the new foster kid neighbor. Nice to meet you."

"Oh, sorry, my name's Alice, I'm Bella's best friend. She's also dating my brother, Edward."

He saw no fear in Bella's face, but a sense of awarness and awe... he had a feeling she knew. "Well hopefully I can be your friend too, Miss Alice."

Alice beamed a smile. "I would love that. Are you wearing perfume or something, you smell really... really good. Sort of citrusy." Her watched her eyes dilate every so slightly. "It's lovely."

"Yes but I put it on hours ago... I am shocked you can smell it... anyway, I want to finish my walk before weather takes a turn. It was nice to meet you all, I hope to have more conversations later." Smiling, he endured their warm welcomes as he walked away, barely masking his shaking.

'Brother... how many vampires are there here? I need to make my protection spells now... and she smelled citrus, am I her singer? I so hope that's not the case. Maybe it's just my magic, I know that I am way stronger then most witches my age. Maybe it's shifted my scent...'

'''

Alice was terrified, she just met her singer. The boy had the most beautiful scent she ahd ever come across, it was hard not to tear into him. She focused on his future and to her horror she could see nothing, a long emptiness... she was knew he was dangerous no matter how nice he was.

Settling her thoughts, she turned and smiled at Bella. " Let's get out of this rain, shall we?" She all but lifted Bella as they hurried inside, to not get her cast wet. It was hard to hide her powers as they moved up the stairs with Bella, who could bare only some weight on her leg. Within minutes they were in her room, and working on homework... or at least Alice pretended to before she spilled the beans to Bella, out of worry and shock.

Bella looked stunned. "Your singer? Really, what are the chances?"

"I don't know but it's... he smells amazing, like citrus and cinnomin, my favorite scents all blurred together. And he's so cute... " She shuddered, thinking of the boy's face. He reminded her a lot of Bella, with dark brown hair though his was curly. He was chubby, with a nice beard for his age, and the most beautful eyes that seemed to meld from blue to green to grey as they moved. His skin was pale but had a lovely blush that left him looking perpetually happy. His lips, which small, were thick and nicely shaped. He was cute and she wanted to smother him in hugs, but with his scent there was a risk that she might kill him.

She could only appreciate that he was gay, or at least she assumed so from his mildy effeminate voice, knowing it would keep him from trying to touch her too much, tempting her to kill him.

"Are you okay?"

Alice sighed. " I hope so... Bella, I hope so."
