That was fucking great, as if he had nothing better to do. And not even two weeks after the incident. That fucking Deadpool wannabe didn't learn from his mistake, did he? Of course Dabi had to be present this time, even if only for damage control.
Damage control. Ha. Well, isn't it ironic… He chuckled at the thought. But that was true though, he wasn't going to allow another slip up, everyone would stay whole this time. They were starting to get too short-handed, it was not the time to lose someone else…
Tch. This man is a fucking clown. Does he ever think? How does he keep messing up? Dabi was starting to get really heated about this whole thing.
Though he had to admit, it made sense to try to recruit Overhaul. He was a Yakuza, villain reputation well established, and he was loaded too, which was something that could always come in handy. But now what, a nobody that he met two weeks ago? What the hell were they gonna do with that?
Why the fuck was Dabi the only one who actually cared about the League's reputation? He could not let everyone just laugh at their faces, as if they weren't a real threat. He had to have standards, high enough to at least compensate for Twice's whims and to uphold Stain's ideals.
He really hoped for Jin's sake that his new recruit would meet those standards. If not, he would not hesitate to take the matter into his own flames.

She heard her friend's vibrant laugh fill up the room and couldn't help but laugh with her. She was being goofy again, playing around with the hair dye. She knew her friend would do a great job with her hair, she always does, but she would have appreciated it if her whole face wasn't painted bright red in the process. She wasn't one to passively accept the situation though, and she knew just how to get her to stop.
"If you don't stop that right now, I'll never cook for you again! My delicious dishes, that you so desperately adore? Whoop! Gone forever…" An evil grin spread across her face. "For. Ever."
"Girl, do you realize who you're talking to? I'm your fucking god right now, I have your life in my hands! Show me some goddamn respect. Next time I'll have you kneel before me so you know your place. Hahahahaha!" They both looked at each other through the mirror in front of them, with wide eyes and a frown on their faces. It only took a second before they burst out laughing. "Yeeeeah, that was awful… I'll work on my evil laugh."
"You're fucking crazy."
Her friend suddenly stopped laughing and moved the hair dye brush under Aika's jaw, holding it like she would have a knife and accidentally applying red dye on her neck in the process. She whispered in her ear while maintaining eye contact through the mirror, her mouth lifted up to the side in a half-grin. "You think you know crazy? Think again."
"Daaaamn! Ok, you win, I'm really sorry. Obviously I didn't mean any of that." Aika brought her hands together in a prayer pose and bowed her head a bit. "You are my god, I worship you, please continue dying my hair and give me the opportunity to atone for my sins."
"That's what I thought. As an apology, I'll be expecting an offering at my shrine by tomorrow. Well, obviously I'll also expect a shrine." She removed the threatening brush from Aika's throat and resumed the application of the dye on her hair. "Now let me work my magic and stop complaining."
A few more struggles and vain threats later, Aika moved to the bathroom to rinse off the dye. After doing so, she started to blow dry her hair, and looking at her reflection in the mirror, her thoughts slowly drifted to the call she had received earlier that day.
Her friend had contacted her in the morning and explained that she would have a late appointment the next day that was impossible to postpone. Because of this last minute addition to her agenda, it would be better to reschedule their weekly movie night and do it this evening instead. Aika had to admit she was a bit upset at first, but she knew that her friend would not bail on her without good reason, so she accepted. Still, she was bothered. Her friend tended to bury herself into work not knowing when to stop, and it looked like she was going at it again. Although she was well aware of this unhealthy habit, it was surprising to Aika that she accepted a last minute appointment like that, she was usually very strict when it came to her schedule. Something was off about it, although she couldn't pinpoint exactly what.
Before she could think more about it, she heard banging on the bathroom door, her friend letting her know that she was taking too long.
All things considered, maybe she was just overthinking this. If tonight was any indication, it seemed that her friend was doing fine. Constant laughing, same low quality jokes, still as joyful and crazy as ever...
"Ok, all done, rinsed and dried. Look at me now." Aika flipped her hair back and started posing, puffing her hair and blowing a kiss. "I'm fucking gorgeous!"
"Of course you are. I made you, and everything I do is a masterpiece." She brought her hands to her mouth in a chef's kiss to emphasize her last words.
"God, I think you need therapy more than your patients do."
Her friend nodded at this statement. "Yep. Definitely."

He was ready. This time everything would go smoothly. IT WAS GONNA BE A COMPLETE DISASTER! She wasn't Overhaul, he didn't need to worry about a reenactment of last time. Plus, he knew her quirk, she couldn't do any damage even if she wanted to. SHE COULD KILL THEM ALL, EVEN LITTLE TOGA! Everything was going to be fine. A COMPLEEEETE DISASTER.
He just had to make sure that no one would die or lose a limb. Dabi was gonna be there to help with that. THAT USELESS ARSONIST? HE WOULD HELP HER BURN EVERYTHING DOWN!
He couldn't think about that, he had to trust his guts, and what he knew about her. WHO WAS SHE REALLY?! She shared their views on hero society, how fucked up it was and how false heroes were being adulated by the public while doing unspeakable things in the privacy of their own homes. HEROES ARE GOOD PEOPLE, THEY SAVE LIVES. They also talked about Stain's ideals and she explained how she wanted to help build this new world, no matter the costs. SHE WOULDN'T BE OF ANY HELP, JUST ANOTHER STAIN FANGIRL! He definitely didn't need to worry, she would be a good recruit.
Just as he finished his internal monologue, he heard the clattering of heals on the pavement, indicating that she was nearing their meeting point. He shook his head quickly, in a vain attempt to gather composure and get rid of his doubts, just as she arrived and stopped in front of him. He gestured towards the car a few meters away, and opened the door for her. Just before she entered, he grabbed her shoulder.
"I'm sorry, I have to blindfold you, the location of our hideout needs to remain secret. HERE, LET ME GIVE YOU THE ADDRESS!"
She nodded and let Jin wrap a piece of cloth over her eyes. He then guided her inside the car and seated himself behind the wheel. He let out a sigh, started the engine and drove off to where the rest of the League's members were waiting for them.
