Here it is! The first RWBY/Animorphs crossover on this website! Probably. Animorphs has been one of my favorite childhood series and I've been thinking of a way for it to crossover with RWBY for a while now. Enjoy. Disclaimer: I own neither Animorphs or RWBY.

[Thought-speech will be denoted by brackets]

My name is Jake. Just Jake. I can't tell you my last name, or where I live or even where I go to school. It's too dangerous, because if they find me, it's over for everyone. Maybe you know the story by now, but just in case, we are not alone.

Aliens are real and we are being invaded. Not openly, the Yeerks don't want casualties. They're after us, our bodies and minds.

A Yeerk is a grey slug-like creature about six inches long. On their own, they're harmless. But they evolved as parasites. They crawl into your ear and take over your brain. Your arms, your legs, your eyes, even how you talk. You can still feel everything, but can't do anything as something else takes over your life. We call them Controllers. Trust me, I've been one for a while. And my brother, Tom, he's a Controller too.

They've invaded other species besides humans. There's the Hork-Bajir, a race of tall reptile beings with sharp blades all over their bodies. Despite looking fierce, they are a gentle people before being invaded. Now, besides a colony of free Hork-Bajir, the rest are enslaved and used as shock troops. There's also the Taxxons. Big centipede like creatures that will eat anything, even their own bodies. Pretty gross, I know.

Who's left to fight off these invaders? There's the Andalites, however, they won't be getting to Earth anytime soon. They're busy fighting off the Yeerks elsewhere in the galaxy. Which leaves only me and my friends to hold back the conquest.

You may be thinking, 'How are a bunch of kids going to fight off all that?' The odds are overwhelmingly in the Yeerk's favor: They have access to advance tech, resources, and they can be anyone you meet. A teacher, your friend, your family. It's almost hopeless.

Except one thing that we have, besides our secret identities. Morphing. The ability to change into any animal we touch and acquire. We call ourselves Animorphs. Me, my cousin Rachel, my best friend Marco, Cassie and Tobias were all normal kids until we met a dying Andalite by the name of Prince Elfangor gave us the morphing power. He sacrificed himself so that we may have a shot at winning. We later met his little brother, Ax, and rescued him from a sunken Andalite Dome ship.

Morphing is a dangerous ability. On one hand, it's cool be fly as a falcon, to have the power of a tiger, or to just be happy-go-lucky like a dog. But, there's rules too. The main one is no staying morphed for more than two hours. If you do, you're trapped as that morph forever. The Andalites call them nothlits. Tobias is one. He was once a shy kid I barely knew. Now, he's a red-tailed hawk living as a predator.

This war doesn't come without cost. The battles, the bloodshed, the screaming nightmares. Not to mention how it hurts my grades at school. Then again, I've been caring about grades less and less for a while now.

We were waiting in Cassie's barn. Both of her parents are veterinarians, though her dad runs the Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic, where wild animals are taken in and healed.

I looked up to Tobias, who was perching on top of the rafters, "Is Erek getting close?"

[Almost,] Tobias answered, [He should be getting here soon.] When you're in morph, you can project your thoughts to others.

"So what is the big deal, anyway?" Marco asked, resting on a bale of hay. "I hope Erek got us tickets to The Phantom Menance." Marco's tan and had short black hair which was longer earlier. He's short than most of us in our group. He's been my best friend since forever, and he's the guy to make jokes at every time available.

"Hey, maybe he'll find you a girl who will let you take her to the prom, like you always wanted," Rachel said, leaning against the wall. She's tall and blonde and pretty according to other people. I don't think that way since she's my cousin. Rachel has been the boldest out of everyone, yet now I get this feeling she likes the fighting too much now.

[Prom?] Ax asked. [Is that not at all close to your current school schedule?] Ax is an Andalite, which are a blue and tan half-deer, half-person with no mouth and two stalk eyes. They look dainty, like a small centaur, but they have these deadly scorpion-like tails that can slice off limbs in the blink of an eye.

"No, it's homecoming now," Marco interjected, "And Rachel, I don't need to take your veiled attempts at flirting. I already have a date, and she's very pretty and nice."

"Uh-huh, and I bet she goes to a different school," Rachel taunted.

[Hey, I see him.] Tobias notified everyone. [He's coming up about 50 feet from here.]

We all turned to the entrance. Cassie finished putting bandages on an injured goose's wing. She's dark-skinned and has short skin. She's one of the best morphers out of all of us. Also, we both like each other. As in, like.

Erek entered through the main door. Looking at him, Erek appears as any other teenager. He's average height, has brown hair that's a little over the ears, and has brown eyes. But all of that is just a hologram for the real Erek. He's an android called a Chee that looks like a steel dog walking on two legs.

"Hey, everyone," Erek waved. We all greeted back.

"So, you have something for us?" I asked. Erek and his people act as spies among the Yeerks. They relay that information for us to act on it. They are programed to not harm any living thing. Everything about them makes them allies and not fully trusted.

"Okay, the Yeerks are dropping off heavy weapons. Dracon cannons powerful enough to destroy starships," Erek started to explain.

"Man, we're really that big a deal to get the big guns," Marco interjected. "Great, now we can kiss our behinds behind."

"It's not for the 'Andalite Bandits'", The Yeerks don't know we're humans. To them, only Andalites have the power to morph. So, logically, they think we're surviving Andalites. Which we're more than happy to keep up.

"It's for Anati home world." That got our attention even more. Anati are another species being invaded by the Yeerks, led by Visser One. Visser One has Marco's previously-thought deceased mother as a host.

"They're coming in to refuel before taking off tonight," Erek continued. "The base is in the woods, underneath a log cabin about twenty miles northeast from here."

"Okay, so we get in there, wreck it up, and get out," Rachel summarized a plan. "I like it."

"That's not all. It is heavily fortified with troops. And Visser Three himself is overseeing it."

Visser Three. The only Yeerk to infest an Andalite. He killed Elfangor that night. He's tried to hunt us down and infeast us time and time again.

"Okay, so why do we need to risk our lives in the first place? Visser Three and Visser One both hate each other more than rival football teams. Visser Three would just sabotage the weapons or the ship or something," Marco guessed.

"It's not that simple. Visser Three is under strict orders not to interfere. If he steps out of line, his head would very close to the Yeerk chopping block," Erek explained.

"Here's something I don't get," Cassie spoke up for the first time, "Why Earth? If they needed to refuel, wouldn't they go somewhere already invaded instead?"

"The most direct path would be met with strong Andalite forces. By going to Earth, they essential take a back-alley path through the Anati home world."

Ax beamed with pride from hearing about his people's power. Even though he's seen some of the shadier sides of Andalite military, he still has that pride in his people.

"Is that everything?" I asked.

Erek shrugged. "That's as much as I could get. If anything comes up that's unexpected, I would like to take this moment and apologize beforehand."

"That's all good. If we die infiltrating a heavily armed base, at least the robot dog's going to say some nice words at our funerals," Marco joked sarcastically. "I shouldn't have to tell everyone how insane this is, right?"

"You shouldn't, but you're going to anyway," Rachel said.

"Good, because I just want to reiterate that I could stay at home and watch Saturday morning cartoons."

"Okay, everyone, make plans to morph and get to the forest by nightfall. Make sure to make good alibies in case anyone gets suspicious," I reminded everyone. We have all gotten good at lying to our parents where we are most of the time. Then again, coming home after a battle with tight clothes and no shoes do lead to a lot of questions.

The time came and we all flew over to the location as birds of prey. Most of us went as owls, except Tobias who went as his usual self. We landed about twenty feet from the building and decided to morph as flies and sneak in.

Let me tell you something; morphing is always weird and gross. You're watching as your bones shift and change in size, see hair or feathers grow from your skin, and sometimes you shrink and get that never-ending falling feeling. It can look gross when morphing into a bird, but morphing as a fly is absolutely one of the worst things I have seen.

As I shrank, two extra arms burst out my chest. My arms became covered in fly hairs and my fingers fused into claws. Gossamer wings shed from my back. I felt my eyes expand and split into the multi-fractured, messed up vision of the fly. I started my wings and took off.

Turing into a fly is the absolute grossest thing imaginable. But being a fly isn't that bad. You can fly in any direction at 10 miles per hour. Which isn't much when you're a human, but when you're small, it feels like warp speed.

[Ax, how's our time?] I asked.

[We have been in morph for about seventeen of your minutes, Prince Jake,] Ax answered as we got through the window.

[Hey, Ax, its everyone's minutes, since we're on Earth and all,] Marco said, continuing one of the running jokes we have.

[Of course. We have been in morph for eighteen of your minutes.]

[Good, and Ax,] I said, [Don't call me Prince.] Prince is a military rank for Andalites, like a Lieutenant or a Corporal.

[Yes, Prince Jake.]

We flew into a dark and dusky room. The only light was coming from an elevator.

[I think there some people coming in here,] Rachel observed.

From what I could see, at least one person was heading towards that elevator.

[Maybe we can use the elevator to get down to where the base is,] Cassie suggested.

[Good idea. Okay, everyone, as soon as that door opens, we book it.] I said.

The Controller got to the elevator door and hit the down key. The steel doors opened.

[Go, go!] I ordered. We all sped in like tiny rockets. [Get on the ceiling!] We all managed to cram on top of the light and not get swatted.

The Controller hit some button and I felt the elevator shift as it began to go down.

[Man, never knew how bright the lights are when you're this close up,] Marco said.

[I'm trying to visualize all the colors I'm getting from this,] Cassie said.

[Besides, think of it like the sun,] Tobias added, [Don't look directly at it.]

[Very funny. A true comedian in the making,] Marco said sarcastically.

[I learned from the best.]

[Hey, I think the elevator's almost stopped,] Rachel said.

True enough, the elevator screeched to a halt and opened its doors. The Controller and all of us existed it.

It was like a big underground warehouse. Metal crates were loaded on Bug fighters, which were Yeerk spaceships, by Hork-Bajir, Gedd, and other species we didn't recognize. There were Taxxons slithering about, as well as humans working. All of them Controllers.

[Find a place where we can safely dimorph,] I said. We flew above boxes and people's heads. The base looked like it stretched for miles.

[Hey, I think I found a place,] Cassie said. We all followed her to a decently spaced out place where there was no obvious gap. We all flew down and demorphed back into our bike-short/ leotard wearing selves. I could feel the cold floor through my bare feet.

"So, anyone got a good look?" I whispered.

[Yeah, I did,] Tobias answered, back in hawk form. [They're trying to load as much stuff as they can into three different Bug Fighters. However, there's still a lot of stuff out.]

"Ax, you think they can be used?" I turned to him.

[Possibly, Prince Jake. It is more likely for the Yeerks to leave their weapons fully charged and ready for use.]

[That's not all,] Tobias interrupted. [Our old friend, Visser Three, is up on a top row, looking over everything.]

We have all faced Visser Three in the past. However, he is cruel and without mercy, and consider all the aliens he has acquired, he's one of our toughest opponents ever.

I focused on making a plan.

"Everyone, battle morphs. We hit fast and hard." I said, already making the changes.

I felt orange and black fur rippling from my skin. I felt claws emerging from my fingertips before my hand turned into a paw. I felt my teeth growing too big and sharp for my jaw before the tiger replaced my human head.

I felt the tiger's instincts. It wanted a hunt. It knew what it was capable of, and it feared nothing. I've always relied on that confidence to get me through battle and it wouldn't stop now.

Marco bulked up into a gorilla. Grizzly bear claws emerged from Rachel's manicured hands. A wolf muzzle grew from Cassie's face. Tobias and Ax remained as their normal selves.

All together, we were a strange little group of a tiger, a bear, a gorilla, a wolf, a hawk, and an alien, enclosed in an open cube of boxes.

[On my mark,] I prepared myself.

A Hork-Bajir guard walked by, not noticing us in the darkness. After he left, I rushed and gave a roar that shook the Earth. By now, every Yeerk in the warehouse now knew of our presence.

[Go! Go!] We all charged out of there. Hork-Bajir bounded towards us and Taxxons slithered along the sides. We were ready for them and the battle began.

It was a whirlwind of blades and claws. Rachel swiped at a Hork-Bajir that tore three new gashes along its face. Cassie leaped and bit into another Hork-Bajir neck. Marco punched a Taxxon so hard it burst like a wet balloon.

I too was a storm of claws and teeth, biting and slashing any unfortunate alien that got in my way. Tobias flapped to get altitude, surveying and occasionally dive-bombing any Hork-Bajir Controller along the way. Ax fought with grace, using his tail blade slash gashes and remove limbs from Controllers.

The smell of Dracon beams burned through the air as the Yeerks got over their initial shock. I had to dodge them while also avoiding the slashes done by Hork-Bajir. I was cut in a few places, but I had worse.

Eventually, I saw him. Visser Three. The only Andalite-Controller. Despite looking almost identical to Ax, you knew there was something evil with him. His glaze burning with hatred as he saw us trashing his place. His own tail blade twitching despite not moving at all.

[Fools!] Visser Three cried out, [I want these Andalite Bandits dead or captured now! Destroy them! Destroy them all!]

More and more Controllers with Dracon beams were joining the fight. It was getting too much for us. I searched for Marco as I was removing my teeth from a dead Taxxon.

[Marco!] I yelled at him. He was busy fighting Hork-Bajir back with only one good arm. I rushed in the fight and tore into one of the Hork-Bajir's necks. Fortunately, we were able to clear the rest of the little group out.

[Thanks for the save, fearless leader,] Marco said. [But I think we should go now. There's too many of them.]

[No, not yet. I saw one of the Dracon cannons still intact and undefended. Are you able enough to use it?] I moved my head to where I saw it.

Marco gave a gorilla grin. [I could beat you one-handed at the arcade. This should be easy.]

Marco lumbered over the Dracon cannon and took position. With one good hand, he aimed and fired at a crowd of rushing Hork-Bajir and Taxxons. The beam rocketed over and took out the entire group.

[Oh, I'm liking this,] Marco said.

The tide was slowing shifting in our favor. The Dracon cannon we took made short work of groups of enemies. I went over to help Cassie against a group of Taxxons. We slowly made it back to Marco along with Rachel, Ax, and Tobias.

Unfortunately, Visser Three saw what we were up to. [You!] He pointed at one Controller, [Get on that Dracon Cannon and take out those Andalite Bandits!] The Controller manned the Dracon turret stationed up there.

Fortunately, Visser Three likes to broadcast his thought-speech to everyone, so that means all of us heard his order too.

[Marco! The guy on the beam! Take him out!] I yelled. Marco swiveled the cannon over to the turret. Both barrels were lined up with each other.

Visser Three saw it first.

[No!] He tried to order, [Stop!]

It was too late. Both Marco and the Controller fired at the same time. The red beams clashed and produced a white light that encompassed us all.

I felt grass and cool wind around me. I slowly got up as best as I could. I was still a little wobbly after the battle. The rest of the Animorphs were also there. I looked around to see that we were still in our battle morphs in a forest of some kind. It was almost daybreak.

[Everyone okay?] I asked.

[Yeah,] Rachel answered. She had a dark red stain on her brown fur from a cut of some kind.

[I'm alright,] Cassie said. She panted as I saw she was not standing on her left front leg.

[I'm good,] Tobias answered, landing on a tree branch above.

[I am not injured,] Ax answered.

[Well, we're not dead, so that's good,] Marco said.

[Okay, Tobias, fly up and see where we are if you can,] I said, [Everyone else, demorph.]

Tobias took off as we demorphed. Luckily, injuries don't stick with DNA, so whatever damage we take in battle goes away when we morph back. Exhaustion from the fight was still present, especially as we got fully back to human.

"Okay, so what was that light when Marco and that other Controller hit each other?" Rachel asked.

I looked at Ax. His main eyes seem to be wide with realization.

[I believe we are in a Sario Rip.] Ax said.

"Seriously?" Marco said frustrated, "Like when we went back and met the dinosaurs?"

Yeah, one time we accidently travelled back 65 million years and encountered actual dinosaurs. It's one of the many weird things we dealt with in our life.

"Or like the Amazon," I said to myself. That one was a dozy. Technically, it never happened, but I remember events from a time where we all stole a Bug Fighter and landed in the Amazon rainforest. I prevented that from happening by receiving memories from my alternate counterpart who died.

Ax says it's pretty complicated, but he also admitted to not paying attention when the Andalites taught Sario Rips in class.

"Finding out where are we is pretty important," Cassie said. "I don't recognize this forest."

[Yes, the grass tastes different,] Ax said. Yeah, Andalites absorb the nutrients through grass and eat with their hooves. I don't know the specifics.

"And the air. It feels cleaner, too."

I looked up to Tobias. "You see anything?" I called out.

[Nothing but trees and some clearings,] Tobias answered. [I'm not seeing anything important from – Oh, man.]

"What? What's happening?" Rachel asked.

[Guys, look up.]

We all turned to face the sky. It looked like a normal night sky with stars and a moon. Except this moon was broken. Pieces of it were visible in the night sky with almost half of it gone.

We all just stood there, dazed at to what caused this to happen.

"Well, looks like we're not in Kansas anymore," Marco said.

Ta-da! End of the first chapter! Sorry if it's too Animorphs-centric for now. I'm trying to build the ground work for later chapters.

As some of you may know, I also got an ongoing story right now. I'll try to write for this and my other one as much as I can. So, if you want, you can check out A Werret's Tale through my profile.

As always, please leave reviews. I'm so glad to hear your feedback on my stories.

So long, and see ya next time!
