Author's Note: The Prologue of the Rewrite is done. I changed some stuff, like Finn's backstory, some details about him, gave him a cat, and changed the season division for arc devision, inspired by Minijen's Universe Falls. Gravity Falls is a cartoon that I like a lot. It is full of mysteries, funny scenes, some dramas and more. So, I decided to make a story about it. I think it is important to note that the cover was made with a images collected from the Wiki, that went through a lot of editing, if anyone feels offended abou it, just warn me and I will delete it, no need to fight. I just edited it to make the story easier to read, so you would know what it looks like. I have no profitable goals, after all, most of the characters and images are not mine. It is also worth mentioning that I am not from an English-speaking country, so there are probably some mistakes. If you find any, let me know. And lastly, it is worth mentioning that I am posting this story on another site, so don't think it is plagiarism.

Prologue: Witches and Weirdness

What comes to your mind when you think of a witch or a wizard? Probably a tall person, with a long nose, green skin, accompanied by a broom and a cruel laugh.

However, they are not like this. Spellcasters look like just like us, with their own dreams and ambitions. They live in big towers full of libraries, bedrooms, and hidden artifacts.

But their lives are not easy. Hated by the society, they need to hide from the others. There are a lot of people after them. Rebel spellcaster, some magical creatures, and mainly exorcists, who have a feud with them for centuries.

In the middle of this whole mess, a young wizard was born. Just like his ancestors, he is not respected or well seen by the others. But, after a lot of searching and of hearing stories of an incredible place, were everyone who is weird could leave in peace, he decides to run away from his intolerant family, who dislikes magic, and is going to start a new life.

Gravity Fall's woods were always a weird place. All mystical beigns you guys can imagine, exist there. Gnomes, mermaids, unicorns, fairies, centaurs, goblins, vampires, crazy people, and a lot more.

However, magical portals are not that usual. Especially portals where a boy and his cat appear. As soon as the two get out, they tripped over a rock.

"Ouch! Sorry, Mr. Starry Night. I should have trained this spell a little more" said a boy with blue hair and night themed shirt, petting his cat.

"We should find a place to stay for the night. It's dangerous sleeping in the middle of the forest" said the boy, creating a small orb of light to guide in the middle of the dark.

This boy, a future hero, a wizard that will endure a lot more than he should, and that will enter in Gravity Fall's history, is no one less than Finn Spell!
