AN: Set around season 11B

No Cake never happened in any ways, Bhandturner never broke up no Dave never cheated.

This will be mostly canon but they will be plots that will happened.

"Earth to Clare" Alli waves her hands. This was the fourth… The fifth or so time today Clare had been in a daze all day she snapped out of it and looked at her best friend with a confused expression. "Is everything alright?" Alli had asked genuinely.

"Uh sorry I was distracted" Clare admits she had a lot on her plate with her new family and also school load but she was missing something or someone to be more honest," I'm listening".

"Are you still coming out to Little Miss Stakes with Dave and me?".

Clare knows she would end up being the third wheel and feel bad because she knows how happy Alli and Dave made each other happy and Clare didn't want to feel like a third wheel. "I can't so sorry I have the paper and since Katie is out with an injury means extra work" She frowns. Luckily Alli was understanding of Clare, she nods with a smile as they ate their lunch.

Now it was after school, Clare had just sent in this week's article. She logged off making sure all the lights were out, locking the door behind. As she was walking down the dim-lit hallway she heard voices she thought she was the only one left so she went to investigate.

"That portrait wasn't cool Imogen" A male spoke.

"I was only trying to show that bipolar wasn't a stigma or any mental health" the female responds and walks away. Soon Clare realised it was Eli and Imogen she made sure she wasn't seen but was too late her ex-boyfriend had caught her she saw him coming towards her.

"Edwards? Is that you" Eli, voice softened he saw Clare from the corner of his eye after Imogen had walked off at first he thought he was imaging his ex but she was here wait it was late he wanted to talk to her so he walked up closer to Clare.

The younger female steps towards Eli "I…. I… was just heading out' she was nervous but there were some lingering feelings but it wasn't like she could act on them or could she?

"You heard everything didn't you?' Eli asks his ex-girlfriend who he still has feelings for even though he was dating Imogen who was cool she was no Clare Edwards. He looks at the blue-eyed girl ' who nodes softly. 'It's getting darker, do you want to take you home?" He had suggested offering his arm.

A small smile grew on Clare's face. She takes Eli's hand "Yes please and I don't want to go home right now".

Eli was about to question the not wanting to go home part but he just wanted to spend time with Clare " I know a place".

Meanwhile, at Fiona's condo, Fiona had just let Imogen in "So tell me again" she passed Imogen the popcorn bowl before sitting down on her couch.

"Eli got mad at me for drawing that photo of him but I was trying to spread awareness" Imogen explained taking a handful of popcorn, she was looking at Fiona which made Fiona blush.

"I think the best thing is talking to him, you both like each other right?" Fiona raised an eyebrow.

"You're right Fi I'll talk to him but right now I want to spend time with you" she flashed a sweet smile that made Fiona face panicking.

Fiona pops in the film she glances over at Imogen, she sits back still looking at Imogen she wanted Imogen she wonders what it would be like to kiss those soft lips she got lost in a daydream.

Imogen caught the glancing blush spread on her cheek; she never felt like this before, not even with Eli. He was an obsession that got too sure she was into Eli but there was something about Fiona and that was a little crush. She bites her lips looking at the older teen curiously, "What are you thinking about?"

"I wish I can tell you" Fiona tucks a hair behind her ear.

Imogen grabs Fiona's hand "Come on tell me or I tickle it out of you?"

A chuckle came from Fiona "Alright I'll tell you" she was blushing, "Ever since school started I had this crush on you still do actually-" she was cut off by Imogen who had kissed her she kissed back.

Back to Eli and Clare who had reached their destination the air was crisper, the leaves changed colours to golden, red, orange and brown but nothing was more beautiful than Clare Edwards, Eli had been staring at her but his thoughts were interrupted when he realised they were at the place they were going he lets Clare in first. "Where are we?" Clare asked Eli walking through this arch discovering blankets on the ground so she takes a seat with Eli the following suit sitting close probably dangerously close to a girl that wasn't his girlfriend but Clare doesn't mind.

"It's another part of that abandoned church" he informs Clare, he looks into her eyes he remembered how pretty they are he always had.

'That party we helped Adam throw I remember that" Clare glanced over at Eli, her hand's inches away from Eli's but to her surprise he took it.

Eli leans in and he kisses Clare on the lips Clare smiles at the kiss but then she remembers something, Imogen he was with Imogen but we're they dating? She wasn't sure if they broke up but she had to check so she pulled away looking into his eyes.

"As much I want this, believe me, but what about Imogen?" The brunette asks the boy she loved well, still loved.

Eli leans back sighing he wanted Clare he loved her maybe this was wrong but if it was wrong why is it right with Clare. "Honestly, I don't know I do like her a lot but she's no Clare Edwards."

"Eli…" Clare bites her lips and places her hand on his arm "I don't know what to say but I just want to be here with you" her blue eyes meeting his green eyes.

Eli nodded, they then started kissing again but the kiss turned more passionately, their tongues fighting for dominance as Eli gently lays Clare down and their polos came off so quickly. They couldn't stop but Eli lifts his head "Wait are you ready to have sex?"

"With you yes," Clare says with confidence and they were hungry and needy with last and passion. They were taking the next step. Sparks and fireworks were going off above them (not literally) they were exploring and experiencing new milestones but now this was a start of an affair or are they meant to be.

They were soulmates but this situation was messy but if two people who were in love showing love to each other is wrong because one of those people is with another? Only if Clare knew what this boy was going to do to her.

After what seemed like forever Clare had put her clothes back on and with Eli, she checked her phone "Crap I should've been home." She had missed calls from her mum and even Jake.

"Edwards, I'll get you home" Eli gets up offering his hand. He looks at her. His eyes were back to a normal green from a lustful colour it was moments ago.

Clare takes it standing up, flatting her khaki skirt, fixing her hair so no one could be suspicious. "Thank you" she smiles at him.
