Fair Warning
"They're not happy with you." Haymitch warned.
"Why? Because I didn't die?" Katniss asked back stubbornly.
"Because you showed them up." Like I did in my Games.
"I'm sorry it didn't go the way they planned, but, you know, I'm not very happy with them either."
"Katniss." He turned to face her. "This is serious. And not just for you. They don't take these things lightly."
She gave him an inquiring look. "What would they do?"
"Anything."
Like execute your family as they did mine. But he didn't want to worry the girl. She had fair warning. As long as she was careful what she said and did, all would hopefully be well.
