Hello lovelies!
I have returned!
I owe all of my followers a massive apology.
I promised updates months ago and had every intention of following through but there have been things going on in my life that have made keeping those promises of updates. Due to a series of unfortunate events life has turned upside down and all of my plans for where to take my stories have been upended. Between death, moving, job changes, and my own health issues writing, especially that not related to the original book I'm writing to publish, has been put on the back burner. I had several new chapters written and most of a new story finished but my laptop died and unfortunately, I didn't have any of my work backed up. It was a lesson well learned as I've had to go through and see what little bit was saved to my Google drive and what wasn't. Sadly almost all of the new material was lost and I'm having to start from scratch. It has thoroughly disheartened me and I haven't been able to bring myself to write again for quite a while. Sheer frustration has brought about writer's block. During this, I came across a small niche in Walking Dead fanfiction and it finally stirred the creativity again. This story swirled around in my brain for several weeks and I started writing it by hand in a notebook while I was without a computer.
So while at some point I will pick up my other stories, namely 'With Fires and Pillows' and 'Escape Before The Storm', for the moment, this story will be my focus for a while until I am able to put aside my abject horror and frustration with WFAP and EBTS.
I hope you all enjoy this new story and again I am so very VERY sorry for my absence and for the lack of updates on the two other stories.
I have about half of this story already written out in notebooks, it's just a matter of typing them up, now that I have managed to procure a new laptop, editing and posting the chapters.
So without further ado, I hope you enjoy this new creation...
