"For anybody who would like to apply for this position here, then you can grab a form right here." Uravity practically jumped out of her seat, almost inappropriately excited, to grab one of the forms. Everyone noticed. However, nobody faulted her for it.

Although she was the youngest hero there at 21, she had been a great asset for the agency since her arrival after she graduated from UA. And she had put in serious hours, effort, and had excellence both in hero rescue and combat.

Her old boss smiled and handed her a paper before receiving a heartful "thank you" and beam from his youthful, ambitious partner. Full of energy, she grabbed a pen, went back to her desk, and started writing away at her application.

She had just begun writing out the simple things: legal name, birthday, name of quirk, when her phone began to rang.

Without a beat, she reflexively grabbed the phone with her left hand, still writing with her right. "Hello, this is Uravity. You've reached the Noguchi Hero Agency. How can I help you?"

"Wait, Uravity? From UA?"

"Yes, that's me! How can I help you?" His voice sounds familiar, she thought to herself, still writing down basic information as she listened.

"Wow! I… uh… I saw there was an open position online on your website and wanted to apply for it."

Uraraka jerked a little in her seat, which turned a few heads. Feeling slightly embarrassed, she sat back down. "What?! You mean to run the agency?"

The speaker hesitantly responded. "Uh… yeah."

"Wow, that's very bold of you! We have employees here applying for that job."

"Yeah, I figured. I doubt I'll get it, but I'm planning to move back to Japan after spending a couple years abroad, and I found this job. But I wanted to make sure… is this job open for outsiders? Usually they hire someone in the agency."

"Of course it is! That's true, but you should try anyway! Go Beyond!"

The caller laughed in a very familiar way. It was a calming, gentle laugh, but also much too deep for it to be from the person she remembered.

Her stomach churned. "That's what I'd expect from a UA graduate," the caller chimed.

"Did you graduate from UA?"

"No, but I'm very familiar with some of the students from the UA Sports Festival. You're incredible! There's no way I'll beat you if you're applying for the job."

Uraraka lightly laughed and blushed lightly. "I'll redirect you to Noguchi. But good luck though!" She put the phone down and went back to working on her form. He seemed nice, but… I really hope he doesn't get the job.

The caller reminded her too much of a certain classmate she had. One that did not bring back positive memories. He did not hurt her. Or at least, not intentionally. But Uraraka thought that she was close with Deku.

Her mind occasionally wandered to him nowadays, but only thoughts of pity and wonder. It used to be much worse years ago, but she's mostly gotten over it.

That was high school, Uraraka said to herself. You can't live in the past. Let it go and move on.
