Shot #5: Cream Meets Werehog Sonic

It was Halloween, on the night of the Full Moon. It had been two years since the Silver Moon incident, the kind of a Silvery Gem that turns basically anyone into their inner Halloween.
Cream didn't want to try it, however, one of E Gadd's experiments, Cream wasn't affected by the Moonlight White Amethyst. Even so, by the year before, on the Perfect Halloween Night, Cream was still unaffected... much.
You see, the only transformation she had gone through was a Little Red Riding Hood outfit, which she didn't mind, but it contained no powers whatsoever.
Cream was horrified by the news when she found out Mario became a monster with that Gem, and that Rouge had even attempted to steal it, but she reacted to it as well.
Upon further questions, Cream was sort of stubborn when it came to believing that Sonic was a Werehog, or a Hedgehog Werewolf Hybrid. Believing that Mario was a Werebat, now THAT'S something she could truly believe in.
What may be hiding underneath that pure heart of hers?
The truth was, that she doesn't believe Sonic as a Monster. Sonic was a hero, a legendary hero. One of the greatest to be even put inside the Smash Brothers Tournaments (Waluigi surrendered his to Sonic because of how sorry he felt when the Dreamcast system was no more. And look at Sonic now! Glorious as can be!). And besides that, Sonic helped Mario defeat a huge entity that was turning characters into statues. Even though the Console Wars was a just rivalry, and maybe a huge war that had taken a toll on both of them, they were friends in the end, and that's the best ending anyone could ever ask for. At least, in Cream's eyes.
(Reminder: This universe is where either Sega surrendered Sonic to Nintendo, or Sega had ACTUALLY DONE BETTER with Sonic so good that Nintendo shared Mario and Sega shared Sonic for each project delivered in games, each published twice a year. Games like: Sonic Adventure 3, Mario and Sonic Party, Mario and Sonic Speedom Kart, Sports, Minigames, etc.)
On a quest to show the truth to the world, Cream snuck out of her house and went into the woods where Luigi resided at. That was the only place where the common sightings of the so-called Werehog would be.
Normally, Cream would bring Cheese, Amy, Big, Luigi, or even Toadette along with her, but this time, she decided to go alone.
"I don't get it..." Cream thought out loud. "I don't believe Mister Sonic is a monster... He is a hero to me... And I really love him (As a friend, like most youngsters say when they were pure), he's like an Uncle I never had... I'll show everyone! Mister Sonic is not a monster!"
Cream marched forward to see the woods as the trees began walking on their own, in the mud, on their root-like feet.
This creeped Cream a bit. "Why doesn't Mister Luigi clear out some of these trees?... They're so scary... At least, no ghosts or monsters are here to find me..."
Cream walked by the woods and took the Mansion Road to an old mansion, owned by the ghost who was last seen to love Werehogs, she goes by Lah.
But even so, Lah was cursed to stay within her perimeter due to having her Crystals gone, and it was probably for the best... for Sonic. Otherwise, he would not only have Amy to run away from, but he would have to stay up day and night trying to get away from this clingy ghost girl.
"Oh, hello there~" A voice called out, cooing. Cream shivered.
"W - Who's there?" asked Cream.
"~It's the Ghost of Christmas Past!~ Just kidding, it's just me!" Lah revealed herself. "Fancy meeting such a little cute girl around here! What brings you here to these dark woods?"
"I..." Cream told Lah the truth. "I was looking for Mister Sonic... to prove to anyone he's not a monster!"
"Oh he is a monster all right!" Lah crossed her arms and held them to her chest as if she's trying to contain her cold, beating heart. "That naughty boy DEVOURED my heart!"
Cream was unsure of this. Never in her life had anyone else spoken about romance, except Amy.
"O... kay?" Cream replied. "If you can please tell me where to go to reach Silver Swamp, I would be most content."
"Okay, dearie~" Lah giggled. "You just go straight down that dirty Warp Pipe. I was sure the Mario Brothers would hurry up and clean it up into tip top shape, but how can you call them when there's terrible signal here?! And what's taking so long for me to receive my internet?! Oh well. I guess you can head on out there. Just tell Sonic that I have a wedding ring he could propose to me~."
"Thank you, Lah." Cream smiled as she headed down into the warp pipe to the right of Lah's Mansion, and she was teleported to the most ickiest, dirty, creepy, and horrifyingly luscious swamp.
Deep inside the swamp, was told to be that E Gadd stores the Silver Moon inside of the center of this place. His definition for the Center is mathematically, critically accurate. One slight digit off of any number would reveal someone digging up a Dry Bones or someone's lost shoe from decades, if not, a thousand years ago.
But the lost treasure was not what Cream was after. She was after Sonic, who was not hard to find then.
Cream tripped over the hardened mud as she got herself a little dirty.
"Owie..." Cream groaned as she held the spots where she got injured, and that's when she noticed it... Werehog footprints. "Oh me..."
As Cream got up, a pair of Badniks appeared from the mud and surrounded her.
"H - HELP ME!" Cream cried out as the Badniks wee taking aim, and suddenly, there was a howl in the air! "Huh?!"
It was a Werehog, who looked... familiar...
Cream squinted at the being and she then recognized that look...

IT WAS SONIC!
Sonic ran down to the rescue as he extended his arms, grabbed the Badniks and then threw them into a corner!
"M - Mister Sonic?! Y - You're a Werehog?!" Cream looked horrified.
Sonic looked up and found an item block. He punched the block with an extended arm and retrieved an Ice Flower (Since you can only find Ice Flowers in Silver Swamp and Fire Flowers in the Grieving Grottos). Sonic transformed into his regular colors, but he was still a Werehog.
Cream looked at Sonic somewhat amazed.
Sonic walked up to the Badniks as they aimed for him right where they were, until Sonic unleashed his signature Ice Flower Move, Chilling Howl!
The Werehog howled onto the Badniks, crystallizing them in an icy prison, and then the ice shattered, breaking the robots and freeing the little critters inside.
"M - M - M - Mister Sonic?..." Cream looked at Sonic as he was grunting, walking towards Cream. Cream held her position to block Sonic's attack with her hands in front of her face. Until... "WHOA!"
Cream was hugged into a frosty hug from Sonic the Snow Werehog, followed by some nuzzling and cuddles.
Cream giggled as she was emitting warmth to the cold Werehog, and he was liking the warm welcome from the little rabbit.
"Mister Sonic! I didn't know you were this monstrous! Like a monster hero we never had before!" Cream gave Sonic a peck on the cheek, melting the Ice Powers off the Werehog. "OH NO! I'M SORRY! I DIDN'T MEAN TO-"
"Ssssssh." Sonic whispered to Cream. "It's okay, Cream... I'll get you home... Besides, I know an easy way out."
Sonic pulled out a pair of glowing wings with a red P on it.
"The Parawing?" asked Cream.
"I got it from saving Luigi's Mansion from Rouge as she was collecting rare items, and THIS is what I was looking for when I heard that YOU arrived." Sonic pat Cream.
Cream began to weep with her rabbit ears covering her eyes. "I'm so sorry, Mister Sonic!... I didn't mean to make trouble!... I just wanted to make people know that you're not a monster!..."
"Even if I changed forms from the power of the Silver Moon Crystal... My heart and spirit will never change for the people I care about the most... You should know this, Cream..." Sonic replied back at Cream. "But for now, we shall head home, and tell everyone about your brave adventure through these woods!"
Cream freed her eyes from cover as she gained confidence. "Yes! Mister Sonic! Let's go home!"
"That's the spirit!" Sonic held onto Cream real tight. "Hang on tight!"
As Sonic then used the Parawings, he flew up into the air as a Shining Werehog, flying with Cream riding on his back.
"THIS IS THE GREATEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!" Cream exclaimed in the sky as Sonic howled.
"AWROOOOOOOOOO!"
