Ambush
Inuyasha felt anger boiling into his heart as he endured all the 'sits' given to him by Kagome, insults from Shippo and Miroku and indifference from Sango. To make matters worse, Kikyo also wanted him dead and manipulated and hurt him. Koga taking his promised girl as his mate and Sesshomaru acting superior to him at every turn.
But no more. The rage within him took hold of his heart and seek the one person who could help him achieve revenge.
Naraku. Their shared enemy.
Naraku was surprised when Inuyasha wanted to join him but when the half-demon explained his reasons, he became intrigued. So he allowed Inuyasha into his fold and allowed the half-demon to explain his plan.
Naraku can create a rather weak clone of himself and allowed himself to be defeated by the jewel shard hunting group. Then Inuyasha and the real Naraku would ambush them in a deserted village wiped out by Naraku's demons.
So Inuyasha went back to his group, lying to them where Naraku is in a deserted village wiped out by Koga's clan (though Koga would just deny it). He even lied that Naraku confronted him and he barely made it out alive, showing them fake wounds magically created by Kanna to prove his lie further.
They believed him and while most of the group set to travel, Shippo opted to stay behind at Kaede's place to rest. Inuyasha mentally frowned at this but noted that Shippo would be disposed of at a later time.
They made it to the deserted village where they fought 'Naraku' with all their might but this one is weak and was easily defeated.
"That was...too easy." Sango noted, looking down at the puddle of black blood that was Naraku's clone.
Kagome nodded in agreement. "It almost seems like he wanted to be defeated."
Koga however, sniffed and realized one thing. "This one isn't the real Naraku!" He pointed at Inuyasha who remained unusually quiet the entire trip. "It's him! He lied to us!"
Miroku demanded to the half-demon in a dangerously low tone. "Is it true Inuyasha? You pulled us in the middle of a deserted village so that Naraku can can proceed with his plans?"
Inuyasha said in a calm tone that unnerved many of them, including Kikyo who is also present. "You guys underestimated me for the last time. Goodbye."
He summoned his sword Tessaiga and raised it, alarming the group. Suddenly behind him, Kagura appeared and blew one of her fans and a gust of wind dashed towards the surprised group, knocking Inuyasha down.
Inuyasha came to his senses as he heard voices...
"I'm hit! I'm going to hide for a bit!" Kagome.
"Get inside one of the huts Kagome! We'll cover for you!" Sango.
A cadre of demons ran forward to engage the group. In his line of sight, he saw Naraku walk towards him and offered him a hand up.
"Stand up brother." He lifted Inuyasha up and gave him back Tenseiga. "Ready for some vengeance and retribution?"
"Inuyasha! You're making a mistake!" Sango called out to him. Inuyasha ignored that and charged at her. Sango barely managed to parry a swing from Inuyasha and stabbed him in the side of his gut. Inuyasha grabbed her wrists and slammed his head into her forehead, stumbling her back as he grabbed the offending sword and broke it with just a grip from his hand.
Sango activated her hidden blade from her demon slayer suit and swing it a Inuyasha who dodged it effortlessly before he grabbed her wrist again and broke the weapon by punching it at the flat top. He tried pushing it into her gut but she resisted it, Inuyasha successfully pushed the blade deep into her gut by punching it, causing her to cough out blood.
Inuyasha didn't stop there as he punched Sango in the face, slashed her back then finally grabbing her head and brutally slitting her throat ear to ear.
Seeing the demon slayer dead, Inuyasha barely sensed Kilala charging at him. The feline cat demon bit his forearm and he was forced to punch her in the face two times before she finally let go of him. Kilala tried pouncing him but he grabbed the cat, turning her around so that her back is at the ground, then driving Tessaiga into her chest, causing her to cry out in pain then died.
"We're going to bury you, motherfucker!" He heard Koga bark out to him. Though when he looked, he saw Naraku stab the wolf demon repeatedly while ripping out the jewel shards off his legs. Koga died of his injuries seconds later.
"You shouldn't have betrayed us!" Miroku yelled at him while firing sultras at him which he dodged. Then with frightening speed, Inuyasha charged at him.
A sharp and unbearable pain came to Miroku as he realized where Inuyasha is. Right in from of him and what he saw horrified him.
Inuyasha's own sword, stabbing his crotch.
Inuyasha lifted his sword up slightly, causing Miroku to scream in pain at having his manhood taken from him in a rather cruel fashion. Inuyasha pulled his sword back, grabbed Miroku's staff and smacked Miroku's head with it multiple times with the tenth one breaking the staff due to abuse and the force applied to it.
Miroku fell to his knees groaning from the beating and the pain from his crotch but Inuyasha wasn't done. Inuyasha walked behind Miroku, roughly lifted his head up by the hair then grabbed his throat. With some gagging sounds from Miroku, Inuyasha brutally ripped his windpipe out, leaving the dead monk to collapse to the monk with his throat wide open for blood to spill like a river.
"Inuyasha! You don't have to do this!" A pleading voice came and Inuyasha unconsciously dodged an arrow to his left. He saw the attacker and narrowed his eyes at her.
Kikyo, already nocking her next arrow to her bow.
Inuyasha saw Naraku walk beside him ready to kill the undead priestess but Inuyasha raised a hand to stop. "Stay out of this Master Naraku. This is between me and her."
Naraku nodded then looked over his shoulder at Inuyasha. "So be it. Once you're done with that relic, meet me at this hut her reincarnation has hidden to."
Inuyasha dodged the arrow again and snarled at Kikyo. "Are you ready to die a second time Kikyo?"
She narrowed her eyes at him. "I am prepared to pay the price of killing you then we shall go to hell together."
Inuyasha shrugged. "I doubt that. Don't save a spot for me in hell, I'm not coming there anytime soon." And then he charged at her.
Kikyo fired as many arrows as she could at him and she tried calling to him. "Inuyasha, you could still change! Whatever spell Naraku has cast on you, I can dispel it."
Inuyasha shook his head. "No spell has been cast on me. I've joined out of my own free will. More out of spite for you guys."
Kikyo felt hurt by that and said with guilt. "I didn't realize that you would finally snapped. It's my fault that you did. I must have failed you somehow for you to go into Naraku's treacherous arms."
Inuyasha glared at her as he charged. "Then you can go to hell knowing that you are killed by the monster you helped create."
She barely evaded his parries and made the fatal mistake of attempting to block his sword with her bow. Her bow broke and Inuyasha impaled her gut with his blade, causing her to cry out in pain.
Tears of pain and sorrow came to Kikyo's face as Inuyasha continued making her suffer by cutting off her arms and legs. Still alive, she tearfully made an apology. "Inuyasha, I'm sorry for all I've said to you. I now truly believe that I deserve to go to hell for all the sins I've committed against you."
She saw Inuyasha ready to execute her and closed her eyes in acceptance then he cut off her head.
Inuyasha said nothing but watch as Kikyo's body finally turned to dust and disappear. He walked towards the hut Naraku where Naraku waited for him.
Naraku said. "Now that you are finished and my servants have been killing off any stragglers we can go find Kagome." Inuyasha nodded.
Naraku said tauntingly. "Come out, come out wherever you are little girl. You are running out of space and time."
They arrived at a room where they saw Kagome lying her back on a wall. Inuyasha wasted no time in stomping to her, kicking her in the jaw to make her fall down and ready to plunge his sword into her chest.
Seeing that Inuyasha's sword is almost piercing her chest, Kagome shouted. "Wait stop! Spare my life and let me go back to my world and I'll give you the jewel shards."
Inuyasha stopped and growled. "No tricks."
She gave him the bag containing the jewel shards which he tossed to Naraku who checked and nodded the confirmation. He hissed to Kagome. "Go. Get out of here. Go back to your precious modern era and take your stupid tests."
Kagome nodded furiously. "Thank you Inuyasha, I'm not coming back. I still have school and my family to think of." She quickly stood up and ran off.
Naraku frowned. "I don't see that you would let her go after all she's done to you."
Inuyasha looked at him and replied. "Simple Master Naraku: After she leaves to her world, we'll destroy that well. After we killed her friends and mate, she can never forgive herself for abandoning them when they needed her the most. Her willingly giving up the sacred jewel shards is a nice plus."
Naraku nodded. "Good thinking." Naraku held Inuyasha's shoulder and called Kanna and the little girl appeared in front of them. He said to Inuyasha. "I believe that you deserve this moment to push our plan to dominate this era further."
"Let the rule of our lord and god Naraku begin. Release the miasma."
"Yes my lord." Kanna obediently replied before disappearing.
Naraku walked in front of Inuyasha and said to him. "I wish we could return to my castle to watch it all unfold, but that chapter is closed now. We can begin the next one together." He patted Inuyasha on the shoulder. "You did well."
Naraku made a mocking laugh. "To this day, they still believe that Naraku is merely a myth. As if Naraku could do all of this change alone. So human of them." He looked at Inuyasha again and said. "We'll need a new home now. The priestess Kaede will be more surprised than that little fox Shippo. Even if we made the best choice for mankind..." He made a soft fast pat to Inuyasha's chest. "For demon kind...their eyes will be as clouded as ours once were."
"Come. We still have your brother to contend with." Naraku walked out of the deserted hut with Inuyasha following him.
(With Sesshomaru)
He was surrounded in all sides by Naraku's demons. His castle in the Western Lands besieged and nearly taken over. His forces fought them to the bitter end but they only delayed the inevitable as it was thanks to his treacherous half-brother Inuyasha who knew the castle's defenses and their weaknesses.
His security dead. He felt a vile presence which he knew only as Naraku enter. His servant Jaken was ripped to pieces by Kagura and Rin is killed.
"So...you went into a lot of trouble breaching my sanctuary. What happens now?" Sesshomaru asked.
"Revenge." Inuyasha said simply.
Naraku said while smirking. "Consider this your execution and early leave of office Sesshomaru. At the hands of your own vengeful brother no less."
"I will not die today." Sesshomaru said as he summoned his own sword Tokijin. "Your vengeance ends here."
Inuyasha summoned his sword Tessaiga and replied. "You're a dead man either way."
Swords clashed between brothers but it seems that Inuyasha is fighting like a man possessed. Though he is an excellent swordsman hence the title Lord of the Western Lands, Sesshomaru realized that Inuyasha has improved since their last encounter.
He deduced that his brother must have been training very hard to produce this moment. His deduction proved right as Inuyasha pushed him to a pillar in a sword lock and he managed to push Inuyasha's sword down. A mistake as Inuyasha head butted him and shoulder tackled him to that pillar. Inuyasha grabbed his brother in the hair and slammed him again into that pillar. To make matters worse for Sesshomaru, Inuyasha impaled his one remaining shoulder with his blade slowly.
Sesshomaru managed to get a reprieve when Inuyasha pulled his blade back by kicking him away and stabbing him in the shoulder though it didn't bother his brother in the slightest.
Inuyasha taunted his brother by saying. "You know, I was there when Naraku killed Rin. Do you know what were her last thoughts when she died?" He then added with a maliciously mocking tone. "She wondered why you weren't there for her. The mighty Lord of the Western Lands didn't even save his own daughter, let alone his servant."
Inuyasha smiled, seeing his brother red with rage as he shouted bristling with anger. "I. Will. Kill. You. Inuyasha!"
Inuyasha parried Sesshomaru's swings effortlessly till he had enough by punching Sesshomaru in the face with enough force to send him flying to a pillar. Inuyasha pressed the advantage by charging at Sesshomaru.
In his blind rage to avenge Rin, Sesshomaru tried to mindlessly hit his brother but Inuyasha block them easily and while Sesshomaru managed to get a few hits and hit his brother in the cheek, Inuyasha evaded the stab and cut off his brother's remaining arm.
He didn't stop there as he decided to brutally end his brother by stabbing him in the eye and slowly pulling it out. He grabbed his brother's sword and made it stand. He grabbed his brother in the hair and roughly dragged him to his sword and the last thing Sesshomaru sees is the tip of his own sword coming to his remaining eye.
With Sesshomaru's fatalistic end, the rest of the Western Lands surrendered to Inuyasha and Naraku. All it took was the eyeless head of the former decapitated Lord of the Western Lands to make them lose their will to fight and the entirety of that land is conquered in a less of a weeks time by Naraku's forces.
Naraku never felt more pleased than ever as he told Inuyasha. "As per our agreement, you will replace your dead brother as Lord of the Western Lands. I will also send Kanna to assist you in those matters as well."
Inuyasha bowed in thanks. "Many thanks Master Naraku. When will your domination of this era start?"
Naraku smiled. "Soon, brother soon. Though I can tell that you have something else on your mind."
"That little brat Shippo. Worry not, I will handle him in due time."
"I see." Naraku said as he started leaving with Kagura and Kohaku. "Rule these Lands in my name Inuyasha."
With a bow from the half-demon, Naraku left feeling content for the first time. 'To think that it only took an angry half-demon to eliminate all of my enemies in a few days time. With his aid, I shall rule over the entire Feudal Era as a god.'
He smiled victoriously, knowing that thanks to Inuyasha's efforts. His enemies will lie broken and scattered. The humans will worship or fear him as a god and the demons will know their place beneath his feet.
