Taika's POV

Running through the unknown forest while monsters chased after me I could feel my lungs burning for air having to wipe off the sweat that rolled down my forehead stinging my eyes, I was confused and afraid having no idea as to how I got here I felt as though I was going to die if I stopped running from these monsters.

I had lost my shield and sword a while back so I knew it had been hours since I last saw my horse before having to run for my life, I had gotten separated from the twins days ago thanks to that half horse half lion monster and now I was left alone to fend for myself while I was still getting used to fighting and actually killing living things. My thoughts were interrupted by the screeching roar one of the taller monsters had made causing me to cover my ears and scream at how it rang heavily in my ears not know how much longer I can take that damn sound.

I looked back to only see that they were starting to be left behind even though I didn't really want to slow down myself I kept running as fast as my burning tired legs could take me until I saw the wide opened fields there were no buildings or streets, there was only trees plants and mountains these fields stretched as far as the eye can see. I began panting When I got to the edge of a cliff gasping I leaned forward to see that there was a river at the very bottom, I must've been at least 20ft high.

'oh no..it's so high..where the fuck am I?!' I thought while looking around only to see there was no where else to run 'well shit I'm fucked if I stay but I'll be fucked if I risked it and jump...I knew I should've never skipped swimming class...' I thought before hearing the rustling of the leaves and branches of trees behind me causing my eyes to gaze over to the figure that appeared from behind, I shut my eyes before saying fuck it and jumped screams escaped my throat while I looked up to see that the figure was a normal guy I had never felt so stupid in my entire life before, and now I was surely going to drown because of it.

After what felt like forever I felt my back hit the water with a harsh pain that began to spread throughout my back making me gasp for air before my hands found their way to my mouth and nose covering them as if it was going to stop the water from entering my lungs, I felt myself sinking down while being carried away with the rush of the river looking around I pushed my body to float up towards the surface.

I gasped for air before the harsh water dragged me back down underneath it as this process continued for a while as I coughed and gasped moving my arms around to try and keep myself elevated from going back under water. My body was starting to become heavy and it was getting harder and hard to keep moving with the rivers harsh water and the rocks that I have to keep avoiding,

'i don't know how long I can keep this up for. I'm really fucked if I don't get out of here soon...how long has it been already?' my thoughts ran in my head as I gasped for air again Feeling my eye sight begin to blur I felt as though this was going to be the end of me, no one would know where I am or how I died. No one would even bother to search or even care, they won't be able to find me. I screamed once I fell over a water fall with my back once again meeting the hard surface of the water.

'How the hell did I end up like this to begin with...?' where the last thoughts I had before the last of my breath escaped my lungs having water taking it's place while my body grew heavier and was dragged down deeper into the water.

Closing her eyes her mind began playing her life from the moment she was able to remember seeing the bullying the betrayal of so called friends she once had, how her parents showed her love before abandoning her when she turned twelve and began living in the street since then, all the good and bad memories rushed to the front of her mind along with old emotion she had buried so far back into her head she gasped for air only to have her lungs greeted by cool water

Her hands gripped her throat while she reached upwards to the shining sun hoping to somehow reach the surface as her body entered numbness, a sensation she knew all to well. Holding her eyes narrowed she layer still like a statue while her black and red hair along with her black tunic fluttered gently with the soft underwater waves of the lake dragging her statue like body down deeper into the lakes waters as the temperature slowly changed from a warm to cool to becoming cold as ice, bubbles escaped her black tainted lips in small amounted before a cough created a larger pattern.

'well...I guess...' She thought before a faint sad smile broke out across her lips '...I'm gonna die...I wish I knew...how I ended up here...' she stared at the looming sun that danced outside the waters before her thoughts were heard once more.

'ill never get to tell him how I feel...' she thought before completely losing the fight against keeping her red eyes from closing
