"Tony. I..." Ziva started then hesitated.
His ears were tuned for what she was going to say next. He was dying in anticipation in just those few seconds. He was looking in Ziva's direction as he drove past the green light. Then, he heard a faint speeding sound. The sound of a speeding car. As if they were racing down the street. The next thing he knew, the car sound was getting louder and louder and before he knew it, the same car making that same sound was colliding head on with his car
"Ziva!" He yelled as the car spun and the glass shattered all around them like raindrops.
When the car stopped spinning, everything stopped. The glass was still. Ziva had her head bowed on her chest with her eyes closed and her body limp in her chair. He himself was about to be overwhelmed by darkness and taken off to another world that only he could go and no body else could come with him. He reached his arm over to grab Ziva's hand but he only managed to flick her thumb before he too was consumed by still, darkness.
