One week ago, Master Hand and Crazy Hand announced that the fifth Super Smash Bros. tournament is coming soon and every veteran fighter will compete in the tournament. However, they said that newcomers will be joining as well. It's up to everyone to know who are the newcomers and how many are there going to be in the tournament.
Not too far from the Smash Mansion, the Inklings, Orange and Blue have arrived.
"So, this is the place, right?" Orange asked, looking at the mansion.
"Yeah, but this mansion. It's so huge." Blue said.
"That's what I thought too." Orange agreed. "Let's go in."
Before the Inklings headed towards the mansion...
"Orange, Blue? It's that you two?" A voice called to them. The Inklings turned around to see who was calling them. They were surprised when they saw a familiar face. It was Daisy who was calling them.
"Daisy? What are you doing here?" Orange asked.
"I'd asked you two the same thing." The Sarasaland princess said.
"We got an invitation to Smash." Blue said as he and Orange showed Daisy their invitations.
Daisy's eyes widened in surprise. "Really?! Because I got an invitation too!" She said as the Sarasaland princess took out her invitation.
The Inklings were stunned hearing this. "No way!" Orange exclaimed.
"For eel?!" Blue exclaimed.
"No kidding." Daisy smiled. "I've been waiting for this ever since the previous Smash tournament. It's really a dream come true for me." She looked at the mansion. "Well, might as well go in." The Inkling nodded in agreement with her.
"Excuse me, but is this the Smash Mansion?" A voice asked. The three newcomers turned around and saw two unfamiliar faces. One was a human girl who had brown hair and was wearing a white hat. She also was wearing a sleeveless light blue shirt, a red skirt, white shoes with red lines in the middle, light blue shoes, and a yellow bag strapped on her right shoulder. The other unfamiliar fighter was a female Pikachu with a black heart on the tip of her tail. She was wearing an orange-yellow and black wrestling suit. Their names were Leaf and Pikachu Libre.
"Yes, this is the Smash Mansion." Daisy said, before looking at the human girl. "By the way, are you a Pokémon Trainer?"
"Yes. How did you know?" Leaf asked.
"I'm not from your world, but there was a Pokémon Trainer who first competed in the Brawl tournament and he's going to compete in the upcoming tournament after his Charizard went solo last time."
"You're talking about Red, right?"
"Honestly, I'm not surprised that you know him." Daisy smiled.
Leaf nodded, "Yeah, we both live in Pallet Town in the Kanto region."
"I see. So, what's your name?"
"My name is Leaf, what's yours?"
"Princess Daisy, but I rather just go by Daisy."
"Well, it's very nice to meet you, Daisy." Leaf said while offering a handshake.
"Likewise." The Sarasaland princess said, accepting the handshake.
The Inklings looked at Pikachu Libre. "So, you're a Pokémon, right?" Blue asked.
"(That's right, I'm a Pikachu. I'm guessing this is your first time seeing one right?)" The Mouse Pokémon asked.
"That's right. A long time ago in our world, there was this special event called Splatfest and during one of the events, your world was represented." Orange said.
Libre was shocked, "(Your world represented mine?)"
"We're not squidding, it really did happen." Blue said.
Libre was just in awe hearing this.
"Okay, now that we get to know who you two are, here's a question I gotta ask." Daisy said. "Are you two invited to the tournament?"
"Yeah, I got an invitation." Leaf said.
"(Me too.)" Libre said. Both girls showed their invitations.
"Looks like we're not the only newcomers who're going to enter the tournament, even though it's kinda obvious." Orange said. "Anyways, while we're standing here talking, let's go to the ma-"
"Hey, look up there." Blue interrupted.
The upcoming fighter looked and saw a dragon-like creature as it floated down near them. That dragon-like creature is Ridley. Everyone got in a battle stance in case he starts to attack them. The Inklings readied their Splattershots, Daisy pulled out her golf club, Leaf took out a Poké Ball so she could send out a Pokémon, and Libre's cheeks sparked electricity. However, the Space Pirate leader showed no hostility.
"What is that?!" Leaf exclaimed.
"Wait, I heard about you, you're Ridley are you?" Daisy said.
"Who?" Blue asked.
"He's the arch-enemy of Samus, one of the twelve fighters who participates in every tournament since the beginning." The Sarasaland princess explained before turning back to Ridley. "So tell us, why are you here?!" She demanded.
Ridley smirked as he pulled out an invitation. The moment the newcomers saw it, they stopped getting in a battle stance.
"An invitation. Don't tell me you're invited to the tournament!" Orange exclaimed.
The Space Pirate leader nodded as in saying, 'Yes'.
"(Well, this is a surprise.)" Libre said. "(Now that we recently found out that this Ridley is a newcomer like us, can we go to the mansion now?)"
"Yeah, let's go." Daisy said as she, the Inklings, and Leaf put away their equipment before the newcomers headed straight towards the mansion.
Smash Mansion - Living room
Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Rosalina, Luma, Zelda, Pikachu, Pichu, Red, his Pokémon, Sonic, and Mega Man were in the living room doing their own thing while the Hands were near living room, waiting for the newcomers to arrive. Everything was going peacefully until the doorbell ranged.
"Looks like the newcomers are here." Mario said before he got up out of the couch as opened the door. Much to his shock, he saw Daisy at the doorway.
"Hey, Mario, do you mind if I come in?" The Sarasaland princess asked.
"Daisy?!" Mario exclaimed.
Peach and Luigi heard the plumber shout. "I'm gonna check to see what's going on." Luigi said as Peach nodded at his decision. Luigi got up out of the couch and walked towards the door. "Mario, what's going on? Peach and I heard you shouting from the living room." Luigi said.
"Luigi, you got to see who arrived at the mansion." The red plumber said.
Before the green plumber could say anything, Daisy approached him. "Hey, Luigi, what's up?" She said.
Luigi was stunned seeing her. "No way…" He said as the Sarasaland princess smiled at him.
"Mario, are you okay? Have the newcomers arri-" Peach said before she looked at Daisy and gasped. A smile came to her face. "DAISY!" She exclaimed before running towards her.
"Peach!" Daisy exclaimed before running towards her as they hugged each other.
"What are you doing here?! Don't tell me..." Peach said.
"That's right!" Daisy said as she pulled out an invitation. "I'm invited to the tournament."
That has gotten Peach excited about this. "Oh my gosh, really?!"
"I'm not joking, this is a dream come true!" Daisy exclaimed.
Both princesses cheered at the fact that Daisy was going to compete as the Mario Bros. smiled at this.
"Well would you look at that, Daisy is finally in the tournament." Mario said.
"Yeah, it makes me wonder how she first reacted when she got the invite." Luigi said.
"Hey, Mario, Luigi, Peach! Do you guys remember us?" A voice said as the said fighters turned to see who was talking to them. It was the Inklings.
"Inklings?! You two are invited to the tournament as well?" Mario said in surprise.
"You got it!" Orange said as she and Blue showed him their invitations before putting them back. "Anyways, we just want to thank you for inviting us to Mario Kart, we'd appreciate it."
Mario smiled. "No problem, I'm glad you two had a good time racing with us."
"You know, this is the second time that we met the Inklings." Luigi spoke up. "First Mario Kart, now Super Smash Bros.? It feels like fate if you asked me."
Mario, the princesses, and the Inklings were surprised when the green plumber said that. "Now that I think about it, it does feel like fate." Peach said.
Mario, Daisy, and the Inklings chimed in agreement.
"Excuse me but, they're not the only newcomers that arrived here." Leaf said. Everyone turned around and noticed the female Pokémon Trainer and Pikachu Libre.
"A Pokémon Trainer." Mario said.
"And a female Pikachu wearing a wrestler outfit." Peach said.
"My name is Leaf. It's nice to meet you all." Leaf said.
"(And I'm Pikachu Libre. It's good to be in the same tournament as the veteran fighters.)" Libre said.
"These two came to the mansion with us, so they're newcomers like us." Daisy said with the Inklings agreeing with her.
"Oh, is that so?" Peach said. She turned to the two newcomers. "Well I'm glad that you two got an invitation to compete."
"Thanks." Leaf and Libre said.
"Hello, newcomers." Everyone turned around as the Hands approached them, which startled the newcomers.
"Whoa! Giant hands!" Blue exclaimed.
"And they can talk!" Orange added.
"Yes, we're talking hands, we get that a lot." Master Hand waved off. "Anyways, my name is Master Hand and this is my brother, Crazy Hand." He said while gesturing towards his brother who waved at them in response. "Welcome to the Smash Mansion. You can all relax here until the tournament begins."
"(Wait a minute. Master Hand, as the Master Hand?)," Libre asked.
"If you read the invitation and saw my name, then yes, I am Master Hand." The right hand said.
"Well I just wanna say thank you both for inviting me to the tournament." Daisy said.
"You're very welcome. I'm sure you were happy when you first read the letter." Master Hand said.
"Yep, and I can't wait to show everyone what I can do." The Sarasaland princess said.
"Now that the introductions are over, why don't all head towards the living room?" Crazy Hand said. He turned to the newcomers. "I might be sure that you'll see other veterans any of you know." Everyone decided to head towards the living room. Unknown to the fighters, Ridley was in the mansion, not too far from them. The Hands noticed the Space Pirate leader and Crazy Hand approached him. "Welcome to the Smash Mansion. Hope you have a good time here." He whispered as Ridley grunted as he was saying 'Thanks'. The left hand went back to his brother.
"Samus is not going to like this." Master Hand whispered.
"Yeah, but she'll have to accept the fact that her arch-enemy is going to be competing in the tournament." Crazy Hand whispered.
The right hand sighed, "I hope she doesn't do anything crazy." The Hands went to the living room as Ridley stayed near the doorway.
Living room
The fighters and the Hands came back which caught the other fighters' attention.
"Hey, veterans!" Daisy exclaimed.
"Daisy?!" Yoshi and Rosalina exclaimed in shock as Luma, Donkey Kong, and Diddy Kong were just as shocked as them.
"To answer your question, yes, I'm in the tournament." The Sarasaland princess said.
"(Wow, that's amazing!)" Yoshi exclaimed.
"I'm so proud that your dream came true." Rosalina smiled.
"Same here." Luma agreed.
"Thanks, I'm going to have some much fun when the tourney starts!" Daisy said.
Yoshi notices the Inklings. "(Hey, it's the Inklings!)"
This has caught Donkey Kong's attention, "(The Inklings are here?)" He asked before he noticed them. "(Oh, they are here!)" He turned to Diddy Kong, who was on his back. "(Come on, you should introduce yourself to them.)"
"(Alright.)" Diddy Kong nodded as the Kongs approached the group.
In the hallway, Bowser and Bowser Jr. were watching the whole thing.
"Well would you look at that, Daisy finally gets to be in the tournament." Bowser said in amusement.
"Yeah and the Inklings are here too." Bowser Jr. said. He turned to his father. "Should we go talk to them?"
"Nah, let 'em have their fun." The Koopa King waved off. "We'll talk to them once the newcomers find a room to stay in."
"Alright then." Bowser Jr. said as the Koopas went back to their rooms.
"Yo, Daisy! Long time no see?" Sonic said while approaching the Sarasaland princess.
"Sonic, it's been a while since the last I met you!" Daisy said as she and the hedgehog gave each other a high five. "I heard about your latest adventure, it must've been crazy!"
"Yeah, but at the end, we won the war." The hedgehog said. "Anyways, it's good to see that you got invited to the tournament, it makes me wonder how you'll fight."
"Oh you'll see when I first step on the battlefield." Daisy smirked.
Red approaches to the group, "Say, you do all know these two?" He asks the Mario cast, gesturing towards the Inklings.
"Yeah, they invited us to Mario Kart." Orange explained.
"We never heard of it first, but when they showed it to us, we gave it a go and we had fun." Blue said.
"And that's how to meet them?" Red asked. The Inklings nodded. "Ah, ok." He felt someone tapped him on the shoulder as he turned around and was shocked.
"Hey, Red." Leaf waved.
"Leaf?!" Red exclaimed. "Don't tell me…"
"That's right! I'm competing in the tournament!"
Red smiled, "That's great! I'm glad you were invited."
Leaf nodded, before holding three Poké Balls. "Okay, come on out, all of you!" She threw them in the air as three Pokémon came out. Her Pokémon are Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard, the same Pokémon that Red has. The only difference is the color.
Squirtle's shell is red, Ivysaur's skin is green and its bud is red, and Charizard's skin is red.
"Wow, she has Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard just like Red." Zelda said.
Red himself was amazed by this, "How did you manage to catch them."
"It's a long story," Leaf admitted, "But let's just say Professor Oak found a rare Squirtle, then I managed to find Ivysaur and Charizard in the wild and because of their rare appearance, I couldn't resist and wanted to catch them.
"Yeah, they weren't shiny, but they were rare." Red said before looking at his and Leaf's Pokémon, who were introducing themselves to each other.
Meanwhile, Pikachu and Pichu were talking to Pikachu Libre.
"(So, you're Cosplay Pikachu?)" Pichu asked.
"(Yep, and I have four other sisters.)" Libre said.
"(Really?)"
"(That's right. We first became famous by entering Pokémon Contests in Hoenn.)"
"(Wow, that's cool.)" Pichu said in amazement, "(Then how did you and Pikachu know each other?)"
"(We first met each other at the Ferrum League.)" Pikachu explained. "(Honestly, I was shocked to see another Pikachu participating.)"
"(Same here. We first got along after the first round ended, then during the league, we became friends, even though we never fought each other.)" Libre said. "(After the league was over, I went back to Hoenn to do more contests. But when I did come back, a lot of trainers were talking about my performance in the Ferrum League and wanted my autograph. Even my sisters praised me for doing so good in the league, even though I didn't win.)"
"(Wow, that means you gained a lot of fans after the league, and I know your sisters are going to support you when they see you participate in the Smash Tournament.)" Pikachu said.
"(Yeah, I'm gonna miss them for a while, but we'll always support each other, even if we're far away from each other.)" Libre smiled as Pikachu and Pichu also smiled at this.
Leaf looked around the living room.
"Leaf, what's wrong?" Red asked in confusion.
"I could've sworn there was one more newcomer who came to the mansion with us."
"You mean that wasn't all of you, then who was it?"
Leaf thought for a moment, "I think his name was Ridley."
All the veteran fighters froze upon hearing the name, except Zelda, who looked nervous, and Pichu who looked confused.
"Did you say Ridley?!" Luigi exclaimed.
Leaf looked at the green plumber in confusion, "Yeah, why?"
"Where is he then?" A voice said, which turns out to be Bowser's as he and Bowser Jr. were coming into the living room.
"Hey there, Koopa King and Koopa Prince." Daisy waved.
"Hey." Bowser Jr. waved back.
"Hey, Daisy, congratulations on entering the tournament." Bowser said quickly. "Anyways, where's Ridley?" The Koopa King's question answered when the Space Pirate Leader came into the living room.
"Why is he here?!" Pikachu demanded.
"I'll tell you why he's here." Crazy Hand spoke up, "He's going to be one of the newcomers in the tournament."
"WHAT?!" Most of the veterans shouted.
"Are you serious?! If Samus sees that her arch-enemy is here, you know what the consequences will be!" Mega Man snapped.
"I know that most of you don't like this, but you'll have to accept the fact that he's going to be a fighter in the tournament." Master Hand said calmly.
Mario sighed, "He's right, we dealt with something like this many times in the past."
"Yes, but I'm afraid it'll take a while for Samus to accept the fact that her arch-enemy is in the tournament." Peach said.
"So, this is the Ridley that I've heard about." Zelda said nervously while looking at the Space Pirate Leader. "Has the other Zelda fought him before?"
"Yeah, she did fight him a few times." Peach replied.
"H-He's scary." Pichu whimpered, hiding behind Pikachu and Libre.
"Hey, I heard a lot of noise coming from the living room." A voice said.
"Should we go check to see what's up?" Another voice asked.
"Yeah, we should." A third voice that sounded feminine said.
The three fighters who entered the living room are Captain Falcon, Little Mac, and Samus.
"Oh dear," Rosalina sighed, knowing how'll Samus react upon seeing her enemy as Luma was scared.
"This is gonna be ugly." Bowser said quietly with his son agreeing with him.
Little Mac notices the newcomers. "So, these guys are the newcomers so far, right?"
"Yeah, but I'm sure that's not all of them." Captain Falcon said.
"He's right, we're waiting for more of them to come." Master Hand agreed.
Samus looks at the newcomers. "So the newcomers so far, are Peach's friend and Luigi's girlfriend," Luigi and Daisy blushed at the bounty hunter's comment as the rest of the Mario cast chuckled, giggled, or laughed. The bounty hunter continued, "Another Pokémon Trainer, a female Pikachu wearing a wrestling outfit, two squids"
"In our world, we're called Inklings." Orange said.
"I see." Samus nodded, "And finally, my arch-enemy, Ridley." She finished. However, the bounty hunter had to do a double take and saw the Space Pirate leader as he waved at her. The fighters and the Hands were ready for this.
Captain Falcon and Little Mac's jaws dropped upon seeing Samus' enemy. 'Ridley's going to be competing in the tournament?!' They thought in shock before looking at Samus, who was suddenly quiet.
Samus turned to the Hands, "Who invited him?"
"Crazy/I did." The Hands said simultaneously. Master Hand pointed at Crazy Hand, while Crazy Hand himself raised his hand, literally.
"So he's going to be competing in the upcoming tournament, right?" The bounty hunter said.
"Yes he will." Crazy Hand said.
"...I'll be right back." Samus said as she went upstairs.
Zelda immediately transformed into Sheik, "Quick, we have to stop here!"
"That's exactly what we're doing right now!" Peach exclaimed.
Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, and Sheik all rushed upstairs to stop Samus from doing something ugly.
"Aw geez! Of course something like this would happen at the moment Samus saw Ridley!" Sonic said, with his hand on his head.
"Let's hope we can stop her before she kills him." Mega Man said.
"Yeah, we'd be down one fighter if that happens, even if it's a newcomer or not." Mario said in agreement.
"LET. GO. OF. ME!" Samus yelled.
"Samus you have to calm down!" Peach yelled.
The girls were all trying to stop the bounty hunter, who was wearing her Power Suit, from killing Ridley.
"Excuse me, but we need some help here!" Sheik exclaimed as Captain Falcon and Little Mac grabbed Samus.
"I said, let go of me!" Samus angrily shouted.
"Samus! I understand that you're pissed off that Ridley's here, but you have to calm down!" Little Mac exclaimed.
"Calm down, calm down?! That bastard has the nerve to show his face here in this mansion!" Samus yelled while pointing at Ridley, who was just smirking at her. She then glared at Crazy Hand. "WHY THE HELL DID YOU GIVE HIM AN INVITATION TO THE TOURNAMENT?!"
"Samus, I know that you'd be upset at this outcome, but he deserved to get a chance to compete just like the other five newcomers that came here today." Crazy Hand said in a calm tone.
"WHY SHOULD HE?! THAT SPACE PIRATE MURDERED MY PARENTS!" The bounty hunter roared.
"He did what?!" Orange yelled, as she and the other newcomers were shocked at what the bounty hunter said.
"You heard me! Ridley murdered my parents!" Samus shouted. Most of the fighters, especially the newcomers, glared at the Space Pirate leader for his actions, even if the veterans already knew about this. Ridley himself didn't say anything since he admitted that he killed his arch-enemy's parents.
"Samus," Rosalina began, "You may not like the decision, but you'll have to accept the fact that Ridley is going to a fighter at this tournament."
The bounty hunter was silent for a moment, she then gave out a sigh. "Fine, but I won't be happy about this." She sat down on a sofa so she could calm herself down. Pikachu was worried about the bounty hunter after what just happened right now, so he decided to jump on the sofa to comfort her. Samus was touched at this and let the Mouse Pokémon comfort as she began petting him. She glared at Ridley. "Listen, I'll accept the fact that you're a fighter now, but if we go against each other in the tournament, I will destroy you." Ridley glared back at her as he was thinking the same thing as his enemy told him now.
Sheik transformed into Zelda, "Wow, I thought you were going to have a hard time accepting this." The Hylian princess said in amazement.
"What did you expect? Aside from what I did right now, I'm not going to be in denial at the fact that my parents' murder is going to be in the tournament, I'm way better than that." Samus said.
The fighters were surprised and relieved upon hearing this.
"Well said, Samus." A voice said. Everyone turned around to see Palutena, Pit, Link, Kirby, Fox, and Falco were all in the living room.
"When did you all get here?" Mega Man asked.
"We saw Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, and Sheik stopping Samus for some unknown reason, so we had to follow them to see what's going on." Palutena explained.
"It's true, we did follow them." Pit said, before looking at Ridley, "But to come to think that Ridley is going to be in the tournament."
"Yeah, no kidding." Fox said in agreement. "That aside, it's good to see newcomers in the tournament."
"You said it! We're looking forward to seeing how you all fight." Falco said.
"Thanks. We're looking forward to fighting you veterans." Daisy said with the other newcomers agreeing with her.
"(Say, we should greet ourselves to the newcomers since we just recently met them.)" Kirby said.
"I agree. We need to know about these fighters if we want to get along with them, even though I'm new in this tournament." Link said.
The six fighters who just came from upstairs begin to greet themselves to the newcomers.
Meanwhile, Ganondorf, Wario, and Wolf were watching the whole thing from the hallway.
"Wow, I can't believe that Daisy is going to be in the tournament, same goes to those Inklings." Wario said.
"I'm surprised that Ridley's in the tournament." Wolf said.
"Another villain is going to compete, huh?" Ganondorf mused, "I wonder how many villains are going to be in this tournament?"
"Who knows? We'll just have to wait and see." The Star Wolf leader said.
"I'm glad that Samus accepted the fact that Ridley is competing." Crazy Hand said.
"Same here." Master Hand agreed. "That aside, we got six newcomers in the mansion, so we have to wait to see if more will show up in the mansion soon."
"Ooh, I can't wait to see them." Crazy Hand chuckled.
The second story of the Smash Adventures series has begun! The Inklings, Daisy, Leaf, Pikachu Libre, and Ridley are the first six newcomers to arrive at the mansion. However, there will be more newcomers on the way.
