Idk what this is.

Take it tho.

There was a lot of things that Keith did that Lance loved. He loved his soft mullet and his loud laugh, his angry pout when he was mad, how cuddly he was when he was sleeping, his eyes, his lips, his scar- everything. But there was another thing Lance learned about Keith. Something he had not known before. Keith knew Lance loved everything about him. So, what if he did not love this too?

Lance had been searching for Keith all afternoon, but he did not expect to find him in his own bedroom. Earlier that day the team had noticed that Shiro and Pidge had pulled Keith aside to talk to him about 'serious manners' regarding his health and test results of some kind.

Afterwards Keith looked worried and had not spoken much to anyone all day, kept to himself, not even trying to steal a playful kiss from Lance here and there. Something was wrong.

Lance had searched the castle in advance, he had searched the kitchen, checked Pidge's room, looked through the lab and the training room. Then there were the countless other rooms in the castle where they held their meetings and generally just hung out. But Keith was nowhere to be found, he had thought about checking Keith's room but thought if it was really that bad that Lance should just give him some space.

That is when he left to go to his own room and walked inside to find Keith curled up in the corner of his bed against the wall, he was wearing Lance's jacket with the hood pulled over his head, he was hugging his knees to his chest.

Lance's heart sunk at the sight. Although he looked cute in Lance's jacket, something must really be wrong.

"Keith?"

The raven-haired boy looked up, looking ashamed as he simply muttered, "Hey, Lance." Lance was careful as he approached Keith, who shifted over on Lance's bed so his boyfriend could sit next to him, and gingerly looked at Keith, who turned away as if a puppy who knew they had done something naughty.

"Are you okay?" Lance asked. Keith let out a sigh, pulling the hood down from his head and leaning back against the wall, "T-there's something I-I need to tell you." He stuttered. Lance was merely confused and tried not to let his thoughts wonder to what those test results meant.

"Keith, buddy. You don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to, just take your time." He assured. Keith's knees dropped in front of him as he crossed his legs. His fingers began playing with the edges of his finger-less gloves. This was unusual. Keith was never fidgety or worried, he was always stubborn and confident.

There was a painful silence for a few more moments, Lance opened his mouth to speak but then it came out.

"I'm half Galra."

Lance was not expecting that of all things. He frowned, "What do you mean?" He did not sound angry or disgusted or repulsed. He sounded confused. Keith cleared his throat, "My mother was Galra, my dad was a human. I'm half Galra." Keith said, "There's nothing more to it, it's just that."

"If you want to break up with me because im some cross-breed alien then that's fine- "

"You aren't a cross breed alien. This doesn't change anything, Keith." Lance said.

The raven-haired boy looked relived, "It doesn't?"

"Not really because…. well, you are still my Keith. Nothing changed, half Galra or not, I still love you." Lance said, his thumb coming up to stroke Keith's jaw softly. Keith leaned forward and kissed him a soft 'thank you'

Lance knew that Keith having to tell him about being half-Galra would've been stressful for him. And still is. Pidge had highlighted that Keith was still in maturing Galra age so subtle Galra features would begin to appear, of course Keith had freaked out, worrying he'd turn into some hybrid alien (which Lance had assured him wouldn't happen) and thought Lance wouldn't love him anymore (also wouldn't happen) so he and Pidge had come up with a solution to help Keith have a break. A movie night.

"Allura can we please have a movie night?" Lance pleaded. "Pleaaasseee!" Pidge joined Lance with his begging, hoping the stubborn princess would give in.

"We shouldn't be postponing important training for silly activities." Allura answered, "No."

"Please Allura, it'll just be this once. The whole team could take a break, then we'll be extra energized for tomorrow's training." Lance explained. Pidge agreed, "Yes, it'll also increase our serotine and closeness as a team. Everyone's been so stressed lately! I mean have you seen Shiro? Or…or Keith? They've been working so hard, all we ask is one night!"

"Pleaaasseee!" They begged.

Allura sighed, placing a hand to her forehead to rub at her temple, "Fine, one movie night. That is, it. I'll see how the team handles it."

"Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'll download some Earth movies!" Pidge bounced up and down. "I'll get Hunk to make popcorn and chocolate!" Lance said. They both ran off together, leaving Allura standing alone in the meeting room. Coran appeared at the doorway, watching Lance and Pidge excitedly run off. "They could use some extra bonding time together as a team. Especially with Keith, considering he is not very open about his emotions. I'm glad that you're letting them."

Allura nodded, "Only this once, if they don't handle it well and it disrupts our training tomorrow then it won't happen again."

"I'd have to admit you have a soft spot for those two." Coran said, smiling. Allura nodded, "Of course I do- for the whole team. I just do not want them to miss an important training session, and something goes wrong in a battle. I'm sure this'll be good for them as a team anyway." She replied.

Once Pidge and Lance had told Hunk and Shiro they both excitedly decided on snacks while Pidge walked off to find a movie. Lance went to tell Keith, who was at the training deck as usual, who smiled softly and agreed to go.

They set up everything in one of the emptier rooms of the castle. They placed the couch in the middle of the room, a big beanbag on the floor in which Pidge and Hunk shared, sitting together with a large bowl of popcorn between them. Allura sat on the edge of the couch, below her Shiro sat against the front of the couch on the floor. Lance was laying on the opposite side of the couch to Allura, a pillow jammed between his back and the couch armrest. Coran turned off the lights just as Keith entered the room and Pidge managed to project her laptop screen on a large screen on the walls.

Pidge had stuck some fairy lights from her room that she used when she liked to read in the dark and hung them up above the screen to somewhat illuminate the room. Keith walked over to the couch, not wanting to sit on the floor, and could have scoffed at the way Lance spread across multiple cushions. Selfish idiot.

But then he remembered that Lance was his selfish idiot. He blushed a little, remembering the confessions and small kiss they had shared about two months ago, and feebly decided to just sit awkwardly by Lance's feet, back propped against the cushions of the couch stiffly. Keith wasn't big on affection around the team,

Hunk and Shiro argued over whether they should watch a romance movie or an action movie. "Romance movies are so cheesy!" Shiro complained, "I'd much rather watch something much more mature for our age."

"Romance movies are cute, not cheesy! Besides, we have a couple in the room. A romance movie is quite appropriate." Hunk argued. Pidge cringed, "Uh, sorry Hunk but I'd rather not watch some sappy movie just for those two to start making out." Keith blushed a little at the mention, he and Keith only kissed a few times, it was rare for them to display affection in front of the team. Not that Keith displayed much affection anyway, Lance would say.

"But we also spend all day fighting aliens, I don't really want to watch the same thing on film." Pidge said. Shiro frowned, "So who's side are you on?"

Pidge frowned, "I don't know, continued arguing." She said, sitting back in her side of the beanbag. Keith crossed his arms in his lap, only to feel something nudge his arm a moment later. He looked down at his elbow to find Lance's socked foot nudging him, causing Keith to look up at the Cuban boy. "You alright?" He asked.

Keith nodded, "Yeah, I'm just a bit fidgety when it comes to watching movies, I always seem to be uncomfortable." He explained. "I'll be fine though; movies don't go for long." Keith assured. He turned back to Hunk and Shiro arguing to cut in, "How about a horror movie?" He opposed.

The yellow and black paladins looked at him before they suddenly agreed, "That's a better idea, actually." Pidge said, "I'll find some and we can pick."

Lance's eyes studied Keith; he did look uncomfortable. He was wearing that red jacket, which he always wore around the team of course, but Lance found he wore it off more when it was just both together, as if he were letting his walls down. I'll try something and pray he doesn't kill me for it.

Lance hesitated before he reached out and tapped Keith on the shoulder.

The raven-haired boy turned to him, his purple eyes meeting Lance's eyes as he tilted his head questioningly. Cute.

He patted his hand on his chest as if saying 'lay here' but Keith gave him a questioning look. Oblivious idiot.

"C'mere." Lance said, patting his chest again. Keith blushed and shyly laid down between Lance's legs, on his chest. He was hoping Lance could not feel his heart hammering inside his chest again his own chest. That would be embarrassing. He buried his face is the crook of Lance's neck, deciding he didn't care about the movie, he was rather embarrassed.

It must not have been what Keith was expecting, he was blushing furiously, and his brain seemed to stop functioning at the sound of Lance's voice right beside his ear, "Is that okay?" His mind finally focused on the answer to that question. He frowned, it was quite comfortable, laying against Lance's warmth, between his legs and against his stomach. Keith nodded quickly and Lance trailed his arms from underneath Keith, coming up his sides to wrap around Keith's back. "That okay?"

Keith nodded again, pressing a soft 'thank you' kiss into his boyfriend's collarbone.

"Relax." Lance said. Keith closed his eyes, trying to get his god damn heart to slow the hell down. He let himself relax against Lance, shifting slightly to get comfortable. He had not even noticed Hunk and Shiro already arguing over the horror movie.

Coran finally chose one, an older horror movie about some sort of monster that craved children's fear. The creature almost reminded Keith of a Dementor from Harry Potter. He felt Lance's hand shift on his stomach, making butterflies come alive, fluttering chaotically around the pit of his stomach. Lance's thumb moved softly to stroke Keith's side. He blushed at this.

How he hated giving affection around other people but loved receiving it. He wanted people to know that he was Lance's.

The movie started, Keith could already notice that he was not fidgeting or uncomfortable at all in Lance's embrace, he felt comfortable and safe. The first minor jump-scare played on the screen, Shiro jumped, sending Pidge and Hunk into fits of laughter.

"Shut up!" Shiro said, trying not to laugh himself as even Allura began giggling. Pidge and Hunk could barley breath as Pidge chocked out her words, "That- was- funny- oh god-" She and Hunk almost knocked over their bowl of popcorn.

Lance had been too busy invested in the coconut essence that was drifting towards his nose from Keith's hair. Then he also began to chuckle at Shiro. Their laughing died off after a minute or two as they continued to watch the movie now.

The main character, a teenage boy, was running through an old house, being chased by a shadow. "He's doing a terrible job at this." Pidge said lamely. "Like you could do any better." Keith commented, knowing full well that she could, it was worth the scoff he earned from her as he laughed. "The shadows crave fear, it's not that hard- just don't be afraid."

"Yes, but the shadows are scary, Pidge." Hunk said. Pidge frowned, "Only if your scared of them. If you think about it, they cannot hurt you if you are not scared. If he'd just calm down this wouldn't be happening." Pidge said, gesturing to the screen. "Both of you be quiet, I want to see what happens." Allura quipped.

"Now you understand why we like watching movies?" Shiro added but Allura shushed him with the wave of her hand as she watched the screen, crunching on popcorn.

"You aren't even watching the movie." Lance mumbled, playing with Keith's mullet in his fingers. Keith looked up from his spot-on Lance's neck, "Neither are you, your too busy starring at me, you creep."

"Because your so cute." Lance said, leaning up to peck Keith's blushing face. Keith turned away, "Stop." He whined out of embarrassment. Lance found Pidge was glaring at them and he simply stuck his tongue out at her, he pulled Keith back towards him, kissing him softly on the lips. Keith kissed back for a moment but broke apart and nudged him playfully, "Not in front of the team!"

Lance rolled his eyes, hugging Keith against his chest, "You love it." He said, kissing him on the cheek. Keith saw Allura watching them in awe, "Lance let go!" He laughed, grabbing one of the couch's cushions to get away, only to feel arms wrap around his stomach and pull him right back, making him laugh loudly.

Pidge called out for the to shush and Keith covered his mouth to muffle his giggles as Lance sprinkled kisses across his face, stopping at his jaw. "So pretty." He hummed, nuzzling against his boyfriend's neck affectionately. Keith laughed, ruffling his hair with his hand, "I know, you tell me every day."

There was a loud shriek, causing both Lance and Keith to jump. They turned to the carpet to find Hunk curled up looking horrified at the events on the screen. Pidge was laughing. Keith sighed in relief, "Jesus Hunk, could've sworn you were being murdered." Keith said, changing positions so he sat next to Lance, his fidgeting was coming back to him, he itched to move.

Keith reached across to Allura's bowl of popcorn and stole a few pieces, shoving them into his mouth before he looked at the screen for the first time. Lance had sat up beside him, also finally watching the movie, that was until his hands started to wonder, first starting at Keith's knee, and then sliding down to his thigh, making butterflies erupt inside him. "Lance!" He laughed, pushing him back.

The Cuban boy raised his hands as if he seemed innocent before Keith sank down on the couch beside him, laying between Lance and the couch's cushions. "Shh, or their gonna get mad at you." Lance advised. Keith rolled his eyes, leaning in for a kiss, Lance obliged, his hand coming to rest of Keith's jaw, cupping the side of his face as he kissed him, tongue's colliding. He gripped Keith's waist with his free hand, pulling Keith closer. His kisses left Keith's mouth when their lungs burned, instead choosing to take purchase on Keith's pale neck, making his boyfriend gasp. "Lance, no." He managed to whisper before something a lot louder could slip out.

The Cuban boy froze, his mouth coming to kiss Keith's earlobe, "Why? Afraid to get caught?" Keith shouldn't have blushed as hard as he did. He shouldn't have wished Lance had continued when he instead moved away, chuckling. He shouldn't be turned on by such small gestures.
