The Elemental Universe, one of the two new universes that were recently created. Its universe divided across eight different countries representing fire, water, earth, air, lightning, ice, light and dark. And it just so happens to have attracted the attention of a certain gang of thieves.

"Ah...the smell of a new universe. How enlightening...intriguing...perfect for the stealing." Jack said.

"What are we even stealing here?" Skull asked.

"Glad you asked. After some searching of this universe for the past couple of weeks, I figured out these nations' most priceless treasures." Jack said as a screen popped up showing eight differently shaped gemstones. "The Element Gems...gems crafted into the shapes of actual elements. Each one treasured by a different nation. And we'll be snatching every single one."

"Stealing gems huh? Sorta like that first caper." Panther said.

"Ah...good times. Well anyway, we'll hit each nation and steal the jewels of each one. Then make it out while establishing our rep." Jack said.

"This is very exciting." Noir said. "We're on quite the hot streak, too."

"Heck yeah!" Skull said. "We've been pulling off heists without any problems!"

"Oh don't say that. You'll end up jinxing us." Jack said. "Anyway, here's our first stop." he said as they approached a large volcanic-like city where its people walked around with fire-like hair and red skin.

"Uh...what is this place?" Ray asked.

"Ignia, the Fire Country. It's pretty much a military superpower." Jack said.

"Are you sure you wanna start here?" Emma asked.

"Of course. Better to start with the place that's the most likely threat and then go from there." Jack said.

"But isn't where you say the jewel is located…" Violet said.

"Yeah...it's in the commander's personal office." Jack said. "Thankfully they're doing drills all day so I shouldn't have any issue getting inside."

"You sure?" Joker asked.

"I'll be fine. Just gotta play it cool." Jack said. "Heh...cool in a fire country...how ironically funny." he said as he slipped into the main military compound.

"Hmm...think he's okay in there? I mean, these fire guys seem pretty aggro." Skull said looking around.

"I'm sure he's fine. I mean, he did say their commander was...out…" Queen said before they saw an important looking man approaching the building. "You don't think that's…"

"Yeah, I'm gonna say that's the commander." Joker said.

"Shit. Jack, hurry up. He's coming." Crow said.

"Huh? I can't quite." Jack said on his comm before seeing a ruby shaped like a flame. "Got it! Now I just…"

"Stop right there, thief." a voice said as the commander stood there. "You think you can walk into the main office of the Ignia Army and steal from us?"

"Yes, yes I do. And what are you going to do about it, hot stuff?" Jack asked.

"Oh I know what to do." he said as he created a small sphere in his hands.

"A fireball? How cliche." Jack said.

"Oh, this is no mere fireball. It's a sunball!" he said hurling it as Jack ducked as the sphere completely incinerated the wall it hit. "I'm a rare Ignian who can harness the powers of the sun itself."

"I...see. Well...in that case…" Jack said taking the jewel before running out the burned down wall. "Start the car!"

"All troops! Get him! He has the Fire Ruby!" the commander ordered as Jack ran into the van as they drove with the soldiers chasing after them.

"Did you really have to piss him off?" Ray asked.

"How was I supposed to know he could harness the freaking sun?" Jack said.

As the soldiers chased after Mona, who was running for his life, a trooper realized something.

"Commander Solaris! If they stole our Fire Ruby, it's more than likely they're going to go after the other kingdoms gems too! We should warn them!" the trooper said.

"Not happening. You know as well as I do that we have no allies. Let them handle their own issues. However, chase after those thieves until they regret crossing the army!" Solaris said.

"Crap, crap! Mona, take off into the air already. We're going to get cooked!" Jack said.

"Well sorry but it's not like I wanted to be in a fire fight." Mona said as he focused a bit before he quickly took off. "Yeah, we made...ah! Man that burns!" he said being hit in the rear with a fireball.

"Close one!" Skull said.

"Definitely. One down, seven to go." Jack said.

Meanwhile, in the Standard Universe….

"Now I'm only gonna ask this once…" Ira said, having defeated a bunch of goons, having one of them in his grasp. "...where's this thief that beat Beezlebub?"

"Y-You mean Jack, the leader of the Phantom Thieves?" the thug asked. "Why would you wanna be after him?"

"Didn't you hear me, dumbass? He killed Beellzebub, the Demon Lord of Gluttony." Ira said. "And I wanna have a go at him. So, you gonna tell me where he is, or am I gonna have to start breaking stuff?"

"Wait, wait!" the thug paled. "I-I don't know where he is right now, but… I think I know someone who does. Some… some old man runs a coffee shop in Flower Town. Rumor has it he knows the Thieves. T-That's all I know, I swear!"

"...Alright." Ira said plainly, dropping the thug to the ground. "Thanks for the info. Sorry 'bout the mess." the angel said as he strolled out of the warehouse they had been fighting in. "(Some old man, huh? Yeah, brute force is out of the question there. Guess I'll have to play nice…)"
