The boy had just reached level 4 and he was getting all sorts of attention from other dieties and adventurers alike. He was starting to feel all the consequences of fame as it kept haunting him everyday, hour every minute and second. The anxiety, worry and worst of all trust issues never stopped leaving this boy's mind. He had worked so hard and all people want to do is learn his secrets that didn't even exist. He is visibly saddened to the close ones around him. Welf was the first one to speak up.
Welf: hey are you alright?
Bell: huh? Oh yeah I'm fine *fake smiles and laugh*
Welf: you sure? I can help you if you need it
Bell: *continues with the fake laugh that convinced almost everyone* yeah im sure but why do you ask?
Welf: well you just feel much more distant than before.
Bell: No i'm fine thank you for asking, sorry to worry you!
Welf: it's fine just know that we're here for you to help you through anything.
Bell: for sure! Thank you so much welf!
Bell: well alright im gonna go to the dungeon goodbye.
As Bell headed out he could feel the tears and frustrations that he had felt all the way back when he was all hopeless and weak… actually had he changed at all? The problems he is facing are only getting bigger and stronger and they continue to have emotionally scarring effects on his life. He thought of how he only keeps to barley survive through the dungeon and… through his own mind.
* reaches the babel tower*
'Huh, this is the place where it all started… the life threading situations and the absolute grind in which he kept lunging himself head first into. He looks back on all the fond memories he had and smiles'
He heads inside and is walking down to the entrance and thinks to himself 'this is it!'
He heads in and on the first few floors he inly encounters a few kobolds and goblins in which he fights off easily by slashing beautifully with his knife at their weeks points or their magic stones and easily shattering their defense with his level 4 strength and while collecting the remains of the gem stones and drops. He suddenly remembers the night that bete had made fun of him in the hostess of fertility. How he had run out and away from his reality to come and make something from his nothing. He remembered how he had stood his ground against the dungeon and he wanted to change his reality so he kept fighting and didn't mind the damage so long as he was alive. He smiles looking back on gow much he has grown since that time when he was a weak little scared boy just trying to keep out of the downs of the world.
*he heads deeper into the dungeon and he reaches the 5th level*
He remembers how he was chased down the halls of the 5th floor towards a dead end by a rogue minotaur who was not supposed to be there. He remembers that this was the moment in which he had feared for his life and then the crimson eyes of his laid his their gaze onto the woman who saved him… the lady who he fell for… aiz wallenstein… the girl he had become good friends with, flashes in his mind as he remembers how much he loves her ad wants to stay with her forever… if that's possible.
He heads down deeper to the 9th floor
'this is where i fought asterius for the first time'
He remembers the first time he had beaten a minotaur on the 9th floor and how intense the battle was. He remembers how beautiful and how rewarding it left him feeling knowing that he had beaten his rival for the first time using a combination of skills and tricks that he had acquired through his training with the love of his life, along with luck and of course sheer willpower.
He had a nostalgic feeling inside of him since it was his first adventure through his journey of life.
He heads down to the 18th floor remembering all the bad, good and amazing adventures he had on the way there. By the time he had arrived it was night in the dungeon and he decided to camp out in the woods where he was with the loki familia's camp. He goes back to the place he and Aiz went to when they view the crystals feeling bittersweet.
'This might be the last time that i get to be here to view this crystal.'
A few people of the soma familia and other scum familias come to him and start approaching him
Bell notices this and sets up a camera orb which records the audio and events occurring.
The leader: hey rabbit foot! Why not join our familia and we'll make a deal with you.
Bell: no thank you i-
The leader: Now, now you should hear us out first, we just want you to join us and let us come with you to the lower floors. Of course we'll take all the money for providing you with food, water and of course protection.
Bell: Uh no! I'm fairly certain I am stronger than you guys and I'm better off by myself since you guys would just hold me back. Also the offer is so trash there is literally nothing to gain from it for me!.
The leader: we knew you would say tha-
Bell: what do you mean?
The leader: how unfortunate of you to reject us. I'll let my boys explain it better. GET HIM BOYS.
The following battle that ensued left Bell on the verge of passing out after he was done with them because they came at him in numbers of 30+ all level 2 or 3.
The leader: Barely breathing* hah! You idiot. We sent away a guy who's going to lie about how you ambushed us and took everything we have.
Bell: crap! I need to g-
The leader: not until i do this!
The leader attacked bell and had missed leaving bell with an easy chance to counterattack in which he took and attacked trying to only knock the leader out. The leader laughed at the futile attempt and became much more aggressive knowing that Bell would not go for the kill. He would try to attack but fail over and over again.
The leader: Fine! If you're not gonna do it I will!
Bell: what do you mea-
The leader lunged towards bell one last time and activated a self destruct spell which would kill him and have a chance to kill bell cranel. Bell survived but he was left severely injured in his shoulders and legs. Knowing he had to catch up to the fake messenger, he ran as fast as he could and caught up with the guy just as he began lying about how Bell ambushed his familia.
Faker: Rabbit foot ambushed us! Help! He came and attacked us and took the 35 of us and our captain! Pleas-
Bell: *approaching him* that is a lie and i'm here to prove it!
royman: how are you going to prove it? We saw them go in with 35 people and only he is back and you have blood all over you! If you have any proof you must present it right now or we will have you executed this instant!
Faker: Yeah! Where's your proof?! You evil manslaughtering almoraj!
Crowd member 1: Yeah! I Knew he was evil.
Crowd member 2: So that's how he was leveling up so fast! He was killing other adventures!
Bell's mind: again? Is this about the record again? I'm so tired of this and that's why i'll… never mind that I have to prove my innocence.
Bell: pulls out the camera orb
Faker: YOU BASTARD!
Bell plays the recording which depicts the whole conversation on how they tried to ambush him and they attacked him first and he only knocked them out and the leader self destructed in an attempt to kill him.
Crowd member 1: He really was innocent! But he still deserves a punishment for breaking the natural order!
Crowd member 2: YEAH HE SHOULD.
Crowd members 3 and 4: HE DESERVES A FINE, NO A JAIL SENTENCE.
Royman: alright then bell cranel shall receive a jail punishment of 25 years to lif-
He was interrupted by the guild members who have taken bells side/
riaj: He's innocent ! you can't do this!
Mash: He's right this is unlawful
Royman: I am the law! What I say goes!
Serine:NO that is not true
Eina with the handbook: According to chapter 2 section 15 article 24. If an adventurer is ambushed he has every right to kill and attack all of his pursues so long as they (the adventurer) were not in the blacklisted group. So in other words, you cannot do anything and if you try to influence or say anything else, you will be taken to the guild parliament and you'll have your position reevaluate and we will air out all your dirty little secrets. Royaman: *defeated* yeah i give up!

Although his name was cleared. Jealousy grew inside many people's hearts and they eventually started spreading false rumors, with only a few being disproved
A few weeks later, Bell was starting to notice a change in his own familia viewed him as he neared leveling up ro level 5. He noticed how he was getting glares of hared and jealousy from lilly, welf, haruhime. mikoto and feelings of anguish from before returned and he was feeling distraught but this time he would not have his familia support him through this hard time of his. This continued on for a few more months as they eventually became hostile to him.
Welf: move it you prick!
Lily: Stop holding back you punk!
Mikoto: this is why we should have left you a long time ago!
Bell :...im...sorry
Welf: apology not accepted!
Lily: Yeah! Stop cutting into my earnings and go kill some monsters!
Mikoto: HE's the monster lily He's the monster here.
Bell in his head: i'm done with this i'm gonna….
A few hours late^
Hestia: UGH Only 100000? HOW TRASH CAN YOU BE? I BROUGHT YOU THE BEST WEAPON YOU COULD ASK FOR, GAVE YOU A HOME, FAMILY AND EVEN FOOD AND YOU COULD ONLY GIVE ME A 100000 VALIS? THAT'S IT I'M GONNA TAKE AWAY YOUR FLANA. YOU HAVE ONE MORE WEEK WITH IT AND THAT'S IT YOU'RE DONE!
Welf: finally! That piece of trash will be gone!
Bell: welf… why
He was in tears now
Lilly: Yay! We wont have to deal with his stupid decisons anymore!
Bell: lily… what did i do
Mikoto: At last! We won't have to deal with his emotional wreck of a self anymore *glees happily.

They continued to hurl insults and death wishes at him as he feebly walked. His thoughts took form of hims familia members voices.
'I should just kill myself… I am not worthy of even living here anymore... actually im not worth living at all… they're right… im all alone… nobody cares about me…i should just kill myself'
His thoughts echoed all throughout the nights, he cried into his pillow every night the past few weeks as the pillow became his best friend because it contained so much of his sorrowful tears.
He had given up on life, he stopped going to the dungeon and was left with one last full day before he would lose his flana first thing in the morning.
Bell: i have to do this… there's no other way.
Would visit all the places he had enjoyed… except this time everyone who saw him insulted him and gave him death glares. He went into different shops all around orario to buy the items he needed to do this one last wish of his.
'I had not become a hero… I became worse than trash… everyone hates me... i would be doing the world a favor… This is the right thing to do… i'm so worthless… I hate it here...but'
He had wanted to see the girl he loves so much one last time before he completes his final act. He sends her an invitation to go to a secret place only he knew of and gives her directions on how to get there.
Tiona: Aizu what ya got there? She said cheerfully

Tiona: oooh argonaut-kun. How is he? Must be rough with all the rumors going around.
'Aiz: rumors?
Lefiya: you haven't heard? Well there's many rumors going around that he will be stripped of his flana because his familia hates him so much.
Aiz: why do they hate him?
Tiona: poor kid they're all just probably just jealous because of how fast he grows that they started making up rumors about how he is a bad person.

Back to bell
Bell is buying a very sturdy rope, a shovel, knife, chair a small table and antidepressants
Bell: 'maybe this will be for the greater good. I'm tired of this life. I can't take it anymore… its all useless. Although i do want to see her one more time'.
He went to the eldian forest. A beautiful forest where there was one person in the whole world that knew of this place. It was the bell cranel of the hestia familia. And now he is inviting aiz wallenstein to it. He found the most beautiful spot where he told Ais to come to. This place was a beautiful forest that had a tiny stone brick bridge that extended over the tiny stream that led into the massive lake.
He had everything almost set up. He just wanted to see her one more time. Was it selfish? Yeah it was. But he didnt care. Was it painful? Of course but he had been numbed long before any of this happened. Will people miss him? He doesn't think so.
'Maybe she'll miss me… actually who am I kidding? I'm worthless after all… there is no point in my existence. Should I tell her that I love her? I know I'm trash but still… i want to see her one last time and tell her about my true feelings.'
He spent a few hours until she came just reminiscing. He remembered all the happy times he had in orario. How happy everyone was until He came around and he remembered all of his friends' sour faces. How his familia cursed him and wished for his death… how the hostess of fertility had kicked him out and the maids got grossed out from just seeing him. All of that made him feel as if this was justified since he would be doing the world a favor by getting rid of himself.
He started to tie up the noose and hid it with a few leaves and branches. He set up the chair and
Table with his chair closest to the set up her chair and got the tea ready. The knife he had in his hand was to cut the bread. But the hestia knife… was to make sure he would meet his demise. He had gotten ready and got a hold of himself because he was about to confess his true love to ais wallenstein.
With Aiz
'hmm. This feels very ominous… feels like i should take my sword and medication with me just in case this is an ambush. She got ready and headed out and followed the directions until she found the forest and entered. Once inside she was dazzled by the scene's as they were very beautiful. When she finally arrived at the supposed meeting spot. She saw bell sitting on a chair behind a table with tea on the boiling pot almost ready with a light biscuit on the table.
'This scenery is beautiful!'
She approached the bell and he greeted her.
Bell: hey ais-san how are you?
Ais: I'm good how about you?
Bell: i've...been… alright.
Ais: *noticed the pain in his voice*
Ais: So what have you been up to?
Bell: oh you know… just my normal routine and such *he said with a small laugh* how about you? Did anything new happen with your expeditions?
Ais: well we did find new monsters but there's…
They converse for around 3 hours and now aiz decided it was time to ask bell about why he had invited her here.
Ais: so um, bell, why did you invite me here? Was it just to catch up?
Bell decided it was time to say the words that conveyed what he had always wanted to say.
Bell: right…*blushing* Ais I've been wanting to say this since the day you saved me…
Ais: bell?...
Bell: you were always so kind to me and you gave me a hope that no one in my life has. Thank you so much for that so with that…
Ais *she was extremely happy and the child version of herself was jumping around in joy*
Bell: With that… I want to say...I...I
Ais: yes?
Bell: I love you ais!
Aiz: *completely shocked* w-what?
Bell: i've loved you since the day you saved me from the minotaur… i couldn't lay my eyes off of you.. My heart always longed for you… and I felt like I needed to get this off of my chest. I'm sorry if this is selfish but i needed to say it before i…

Bell: I love you so much but… I am unable to be with you...
Ais:w-why?
Bell pulls his chair closer to the rope and he stands on the chair. Ais realises why it the letter felt so ominous even though it was from bell. He decided to… as the nose was revealed, bell spoke first.
Bell: "I should just kill myself… I am not worthy of even living here anymore... actually im not worth living at all… they're right… im all alone… nobody cares about me…i should just kill myself"
Ais: w-what are you doing bell? S-stop!
Bell climbed on top of the chair and he brung the nose on to his neck and he tightened the nose.
He decided not to use the knife on a vital spot but instead to stab himself in a small place above his heart.
Bell: *stabs himself in the shoulder* this is for the better… ais thank you.
Ais: STOP IT * tears were rolling down her face.
Bell: thank you so much… for caring about me… I love you.
Ais watched in horror as the man she has grown to like is on the verge of death and her body reacts instantly cutting down the rope. But it appeared it was too late. He was unconscious and was losing a lot of blood.
Ais: please no! Survive bell !
She applied the medicine she had with her and was trying to get him to breath.
Ais:Please! i don't know why but i feel lonely without you! Please don't leave me!
She looked around for anything that could wake him up and she saw the antidepressants and got an overwhelming feeling of sadness as she realised that Bell was depressed all this time but put on a brave face for the people he loved. They, although, grew to hate him and they resentfully insulted him, causing him to become suicidal.
She had spent a few more hours waiting for him to wake up while the sky was lit up with stars. She felt as if she was in heaven and that there was nothing anyone could do take away from this feeling she was experiencing with the boy.
He woke up
Bell: why did you save me? Im-
Ais: Because… *blushing* i love you!
Bell: w-what!?
Ais: I didnt know what this feeling was until i almost lost you *sobbing* so please… please don't leave me alone in this world!
Bell: but i'm tra-
Ais: no! You're wonderful. Kind and caring person. You have helped so many and its their fault that they were jealous of you! It's not your fault.
Bell: but i'm unworthy… they all told me so
Ais: no your not! Im so i wasn't there to tell you the opposite of everyone else! I love you bell and I promise to always be by your side, so please! Don't do this anymore!
Bell: I promise! Thank you ais!
Ais: h-hey bell… could we cuddle?*blushing*
Bell: bashfully* y-yes
They would cuddle for the rest of the night until the morning came and they had woke up and made breakfast
Bell: thank you so much Ais! I love you

They sat there for hours on end just enjoying the view and laughing while eating food and they enjoyed themselves. They enjoyed each other's company and were finally happy.
Bell: A-ais
Ais: yes?
bell:C-close your eyes
Ais: o-okay
Bell made his move and he had done what he and 1000+ men and women alike always wanted to do. He Had made his move on her and stole her first kiss. This was also his first kiss so it made the both of them blush madly afterwards. But for now they kept kissing for what seemed like an eternity.
After some time they had departed and they both went back to their familia homes. With bell deciding to face the music and take it on strong since he had someone supporting him. While he did that ais had to go home and she didn't have much expectations cause she didn't fully grasp how long she had been gone from the base, which was almost two days. They decided to keep what had happened between them a secret and to keep their relationship a secret.
Bell: hey ais, let's keep coming back here make this place ours.
Ais: Yeah, let's do that.
They hugged and kissed one more time before leaving their separate ways but they would meet here again as it goes.
