I don't own The Thundermans or any of its characters.

Max POV

It's been three years since I joined my family to track and defeat a new villain. We have been on many missions and the like. We have tracked and forted the villains' plans a lot but they got away before we could capture them. We don't often go on any other missions because of the villain.

Being one of the good guys is more rewarding then I thought it would have been when I was in my rebellion stage. It feels good to save lives but frustrating when I don't catch the villain. One of the frustrations is the waiting. Waiting to see the next step.

Right now we were following a lead on the Villain's lair. Billy and Chloe had just come back with a layout of the underground facility the Villain uses. The facility was in the Appalachian Mountains. Billy had run ahead to check for traps and exits in case of emergencies taking Chloe with him so she could figure out a good place for us to teleport in.

"There are traps but they are all deactivated. We could walk right in." Billy said after drawing out the base layout.

"There is only one room that we can't get access to but Max can take care of it." Chloe completed the debrief.

"So it's a trap." Nora said.

"Yep!" Billy and Chloe answer.

"Then we have to go. Even if it's a trap we have to stop them. I will go alone. You will follow a minute after I give the signal. She won't expect me to go without anyone." I said memorising the layout.

They all nod.

Nothing went to plan. Nothing usually does when it concerns her my twin sister Phoebe. It just had to be her, she had to be the one to turn evil my sweet little sister. She was supposed to be the hero not the villain. I regret ever thinking of being a villain. It destroyed my family and hurt my sister. Now I fight as the hero to keep Phoebe of all people from destroying the world and it gets harder and harder every time.

When I got into the base it was easy I walked right through. I didn't even have to take care of the door Chloe talked about. It opened on it's own showing Phoebe standing in front of a reactor.

"Hey Max." She looked at with her cold eyes not moving from her spot.

"Phoebe. What is it this time? Nuclear reactor? Dangerous chemicals? Robots?" I asked my sister as I walked into the room.

"I'm not going to make it that easy. Besides you'll find out soon enough so let's get this started." She said before Throwing knives at me.

I dodged them flipping to the left further into the room. We went back and forth throwing things with our telekinesis trying to burn or freeze the other. At some point we both hit the reactor with our heat and ice breath. An alarm goes off soon enough.

"Warning reactor unstabilized meltdown in ten seconds." A voice says over the intercom.

After the warning Phoebe throws a knife at me again.

"Phoebe!" I yell at her dodging the knife thanks to my Thunder sense.

"Ten."

"You aren't going anywhere Max." She says as she presses a button.

"Nine. Manual shut down. Eight." The door shuts metal walls covering it.

"What are you doing?!" I ask.

"Seven. Six."

"We were born together now we will die together." Even through the alarms I could barely hear her.

"Five. Four."

"If you won't be with me then if I can't have you no one can." She stood across from me looking me straight in the eye.

"Three."

Her eyes weren't cold, they were just like they were three years ago.

"Two."

Eyes filled with so much life I could barely look at them. I get it now she couldn't have become Evil by Dark Mayhem's Evil powers. They were only the match.

"One."

Phoebe chose to be evil so she could be with me.

"Zero."

I didn't even feel the pain when the reactor exploded destroying the whole base just before my family made it inside.

I wake up in my lair/room. I look around taking the room in. The last time I saw this place was just before Phoebe blew it up in one of her schemes.

"Max! Come eat Dinner before your father eats it all!" My mom yells.

"Am I back or is this a dream?" I say to myself.

"You better remember to get me some carrots!" Colosso says from behind his cover.

"Sure." I answer before heading up to the kitchen.

"Chicken Salad for dinner today eat up." My mom says serving all of us.

I don't say anything throughout dinner noticing that dad isn't there before mom serves seconds.

"Phoebe more salad?" She asked as phoebe ignored her while on her phone.

I take mine out going to my contacts and call her while mom repeats her question a few more times.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Mom wants to know if you want more salad." I smirk at her as she looks at me.

"Then why didn't she just say so?" She said before mom took her phone.

I remember this day it was the thunder van day. It was one of my favorite days. I loved spending time with my family even when I didn't say it out loud. Now I can really appreciate it.

The day went on like it did in my past. I almost laughed when Dad told me to stop learning. I stuck to how I acted back then since a dramatic change would make things bad. I'm sure Collaso has noticed some things but I'm not worried. It was about right after Dad went after the Thunder van when something changed.

"I'm hungry." Billy and Nora said after Nora put her bow back on.

"I can go get something to eat. I don't really feel like waiting for mom to cook." Phoebe said.

"Just put it on your Dad's tab." Mom said before going back inside.

Phoebe walked away from the house. I had a weird feeling that I was missing something as I walked inside. The weird feeling got worse when Mom got a phone call from Phoebe not ten minutes later. Except it wasn't Phoebe on the phone but the Paramedic that was taking Phoebe to the hospital saying that she was a part of a hit and run. I had to call the Hero League to send someone to transfer Phoebe to a hero hospital instead of the regular one. During that time Mom broke down into a sobbing mess.

Soon Dad was driving us to the Hospital as I sat in the passenger's seat and Billy and Nora sat in the back with Mom to keep her calm. We made it to the Hospital in no time. We had to go through security checks to get to the Hero floor. When we got there a nurse moved us to the waiting room saying Phoebe is in surgery. To anyone looking at me would see me completely calm but really I was in shock. The whole time one part of my brain was thinking of the next step while the other half kept repeating the same thing.

'This wasn't supposed to happen.'

Beatrice POV

Being stabbed and drowned was not the way I thought that I would have died. I didn't even get to see my attackers face but they didn't take anything so that just makes things even more weird.

When I wake up again it's in a dormitory with two everything. I notice the girl on the other bed first. She was pretty and young fifteen or sixteen. She smiled at me getting up from the bed.

"Hello I'm Phoebe. You must be Beatrice." She puts her hand out.

I grab it and she pulls me up.

"How did you know my name? Are you the guide for the dead people?" I asked the girl while taking a few steps back.

She looks nice and I am older than her but you can't be too cautious.

"No I'm not a guide. Your name was on your door." She pointed behind me.

I looked behind me to see a heavy dark mahogany door with my name written in gold on it. The door itself was slowly fading till it wasn't there anymore.

"You floated through the door and landed on the bed. I'm guessing that the door represents your life. Now that it's gone you can't go back." She said, taking a seat on the edge of my bed.

"Then if mine has faded then why hasn't yours faded? Does that mean you can go back?" I point to the white door with kid drawings all over it.

"If this was normal I guess that mine would have disappeared already but it hasn't and every time I go near it to try to get back I can't even touch the doorknob to open the door. A part of me wants to go back but a bigger part wants me to go through the gold door." She says looking at the door across from the beds.

It was full gold and it was glowing a little. I'm pretty sure we both know where that door goes to. The door while pretty didn't really appeal to me but Phoebe's door did.

"I don't have any part of me that wants to go through that door. Maybe you're not the one that's supposed to go back?" I walk over to her door and grab the doorknob.

My hand wrapped around the cool knob and I could hear whispers on the other side muffled by the door. I looked back to Phoebe only to see her looking at her door with a sad smile.

"I think you're right. Do me favor and take care of my family would you?" She's looking at me.

I was surprised but I let go of the doorknob and pulled the young girl into a hug. I didn't say anything when she grabbed me tightly. I cupped her face when she finally pulled back.

"You don't need to worry about them. I will make sure they get to live happy lives. Now you go start your new one." I say before pushing her to the gold door.

She stumbled looking back at me and her door before nodding and opening the gold door. She faded and the door disappeared soon after. I stared for a few seconds more before taking a deep breath before walking to Phoebe's door and opening it.

The first thing I hear is a heart monitor. Then the light snoring from different places around me. I remember everything from my first life to my death to Phoebe. I let my mind wander before thinking about Phoebe. When I do some facts come to the front of my mind.

'Phoebe Thunderman Daughter of Hank and Barb Thunderman. Twin to Maximus aka Max Thunderman. Older sister to Billy Thunderman (third oldest) and Nora Thunderman (youngest).' Went through my head.

I looked for memories but I didn't have any of Phoebe's just mine. I thought over the information that popped into my head about Phoebe. The information was like the kind you get from someone's file but it felt like common knowledge like the sky is blue and the sun is yellow. I dug up what I could about her family.

'The Thundermans are a family of superheroes. Parents Hank and Barb Thunderman are also known as Thunderman and Electric two well known and admired Super heroes. Hank has Super Strength and flight. Barb has electrical powers.'

Superheroes as in Batman and Superman. Kinda weird but so is taking someone's body. So I'm going to keep an open mind about that.

'Max and Phoebe are the eldest (Max born first) both have telekinesis, ice breath, and heat breath. Billy has super speed and Nora has heat vision. The Thundermans have recently moved to HiddenVill from Metroburg. Their hero status is to be kept a secret at all cost. The Thundermans have a tendency to cause trouble.'

During the information upload I didn't open my eyes or move let alone change my breathing so when someone came in I didn't panic and let my heart beat steady. Someone shuffled on the left side of me when the door opened.

"Good morning Max. Wake up your parents for me would you?" A man asked from the door.

The person next to me (Max) let go of my hand (Didn't know he was holding it) and moved away from my bed. I heard the snoring stop and some shuffling before Max sat back down and took my hand again.

"Phoebe is perfectly fine. I don't know how but half way through surgery her body started to heal itself. The only reason that she is still sleeping is that the anesthesia hasn't worn off and wont till tonight. We did some lab work and while Phoebe is okay her powers are not. As you can see this is the scan from when she got here and this is from after the surgery." The sound of shuffling is clear across the room.

"Her power lobe is gone." A woman says softly from my left.

"Yes and that is not only that. DNA tests show that Phoebe's DNA has changed completely. If I was looking at it without the name I would have assumed this was a different person. Her DNA doesn't match anyones in any database, not even yours. Her powers have changed completely as well. She no longer has Telekinesis, ice breath, and heat breath. She now has Beast transformation, Sonic scream, and clairvoyance. Besides the sudden change on the molecular level the thing I'm most worried about is her brain. It suffered damage and while her powers give her the ability to heal quickly you cannot make new parts of the brain and expect it to remember what it forgot. Which is something we don't know until she wakes up." The doctor finished.

I take that as my que to 'wake up'. My breathing stutters and I make my breaths more shallow and faster. I gripped Max's hand lightly first then moved other parts of my body before trying to open my eyes.

"She's waking up. Hello Phoebe." The Doctor says.

The lights blind me so I cover my eyes with my unoccupied hand. When my eyes adjust I open them and move my hand. My eyes lock onto light brown eyes that looked just like Phoebe's. I hear a gasp and my eyes flicker to the source of the sound.

'Barb Thunderman.' My mind informs me as my eyes land on an older woman who had her hand covering her mouth.

I looked around to see the Doctor, an older man (Hank Thunderman), and Max all of them were staring at me in surprise. I look around for a mirror. I see one on the nightstand next to me. I grab the hand mirror bringing it to my face.

'Blue. Ice Blue.' Is my first thought.

I looked exactly like Phoebe except instead of her light brown eyes my ice blue eyes replaced them.

'Is this a bad or good thing?' I thought as I looked at my reflection.

'I should probably say something. It would be best if I pretended to have amnesia.' I thought to myself as I looked in the mirror.

"Who are you?" I looked away from the mirror looking at the people in the room.

"Do you not remember us Phoebe?" Hank asked softly.

"Who's Phoebe? Is she your daughter?" I asked.

Everyone but the Doctor had a devisatied face.

"What do you know? Just tell us the things you know." The Doctor said.

"Okay. The sky is blue. Tree's, flowers, and herbs are plant life. Square root of nine is three. Phoebe Thunderman is the Daughter of Hank and Barb Thunderman. Twin to Maximus aka Max Thunderman. Older sister to Billy Thunderman (third oldest) and Nora Thunderman (youngest). I know German, Russian, and a little Italian. We live in the Milkyway. This is planet Earth and the Moon orbits around the Earth. The Thundermans are a family of superheroes. Parents Hank and Barb Thunderman are also known as Thunderman and Electric two well known and admired Super heroes. Hank has Super Strength and flight. Barb has electrical powers. The world is made up of continents North America, South America, Asia, Antarctica, Africa, Europe, and Australia. PEMDAS is used in math equations. Max and Phoebe are the eldest (Max born first) both have telekinesis, ice breath, and heat breath. Billy has super speed and Nora has heat vision. The Thundermans have recently moved to HiddenVill from Metroburg. Their hero status is to be kept a secret at all cost. The Thundermans have a tendency to cause trouble. The Animal kingdom has Predators and Prey. That's it." I said.

"That was random." Max said from my left still holding my hand.

'Should I pull away?' I thought looking at our hands.

"The information about the Thundermans sounds like it was read from a file." The Doctor said.

"I noticed that as well. When you said the name Phoebe all of that information popped into my mind. The information I know is basically like knowing the Earth is round. When I look at the woman over there it pops into my head that she is Barb Thunderman aka Electrice. If that little girl is Nora then where is Phoebe?" I looked around the room.

"Your Phoebe." Max said lightly squeezing my hand.

"Oh. I'm sorry. I wish I could say I could remember you but I don't and I don't think I ever will. So I'm sorry about your daughter." I say looking at Barb and Hank in the eye.

"But you are our daughter." Barb had tears in her eyes.

"No I'm not. You raised her. You know her likes and dislikes. You know what her smile looks like. She knows your favorite foods and your likes and dislikes. She knows how you have grown over the years and how you have changed. She has seen Billy and Nora as babies and played with them. She has memories of metroburg and everything you have taught her. I don't have anything like that. I don't have her memories and everything I know is basic information. I don't know what she does, I don't act like she does, and I don't look like she does. The last one isn't hard to figure out since you can't look me in the eyes. Can you look at me and say that I am your daughter or sister." I say to the Thundermans.

At some point of my rant I took my hand away from Max and I sat up. I was angry that they are trying to say I'm Phoebe. Their daughter and sister. It's understandable that they are denying it but I have to nip this in the bud before they continue with this. I'm not her and I will never be.

Max is the first one to look me in the eyes. We looked at each other for a minute and in that minute I could see the hope in his eyes die as he didn't find any trace of his twin in me. He broke eye contact first looking into his lap. Barb locked eyes with me next she didn't burst into tears when she saw that I wasn't going to be Phoebe. She let out a breath and nodded before going to Billy and Nora who woke up when I started talking. Hank was surprisingly the one that burst into tears when he realised his baby girl was gone.

I felt bad when I looked at the family. They lost a daughter and now a stranger has taken her place. If this was anyone else I would have left after this but I said I would look out for Phoebe's family and I will.

"What do we call you then? It would be confusing if we called you Phoebe and b–before Phoebe the same thing." Max stuttered after the crying stopped.

"Well not a new name completely so what about Bee?" I sudjusted.

"Okay Bee." Nora smiled at me.

I smiled back. My smile wasn't a big grin but a small lift of the corners of my lips with no teeth. The Doctor did a check up and released me saying that I was okay. The car ride back was weird and awkward. I chose to sit in the back by myself which by how everyone paused to look at me was something Phoebe did not do. I say anything during the drive and I could feel their eyes on me probably unused to the silence that Phoebe would have filled.

I was dressed in sweats and a t-shirt since Phoebe's clothes were unsalvageable. They stared when they saw me in the outfit. Another thing that was going to change. As they pulled up in the driveway of the house my stomach growled very loudly.

"You hungry Bee?" Max was holding his laughs in.

Billy and Nora were snickering as they got out of the car.

"No I'm good." I said ignoring the growling coming from my stomach.

"You sure?" Barb asked with a smile.

"Completely." I said not acknowledging the growling.

"I should shower. Also would it be okay if I dyed my hair? It won't be all of it just highlights." I asked as Hank opened the door.

"Okay but you can't cut it and we have to approve of the color first." Barb said.

"Alright. Could someone show me where the bathroom and room is?" I asked before they dispersed.

"I will." Max said before heading upstairs.

I followed him wincing at how loud my steps were. I hate drawing attention to myself so I always walked silently and blended into the crowd. There were times where I wanted attention and it was easy to get it. My mother from back then said when I wanted to I projected a very strong aura that no one could look away from. I don't like to be noticed but I won't stand for someone trying to walk all over me.

"Here is your room and the bathroom is the one on the right. Mom and Dad's room is the first one in the hallway. Billy and Nora share the one on the other side. The one on the right on the other side is the guest bedroom. I live downstairs in the basement." Max said facing the hallway half way in the room.

"Thanks." I said.

He nodded before leaving. I sighed before going into the room. I didn't mind the room. I actually liked it. I thought it was going to be pink but I liked the blues and other colors. I went to the closest first looking through the outfits. Phoebe had good taste but I wouldn't wear half of some of these things. I didn't want to stand out and all of her outfits are nice but they made her stand out not something I wanted. She didn't have any clothes to relax in so I would need to get some. I am glad that she prefers pants over skirts though. The dresses are cute all of it seemed to say that she was a teenager trying to stand out. Not what I want but I like the clothes too much to be too picky. I grabbed shorts and the only t-shirt she had. Making sure to also get a bra and underwear from her dresser.

I walked into the bathroom making sure to lock the door behind me. Setting the clothes on the counter I turned on the shower and grabbed a towel from under the sink. When it gets warm enough I take the borrowed clothes off stepping under the warm water. I relaxed and started to wash my body and hair with the things that weren't kids things. I finished soon enough turning the water off stepping out and wrapping the towel around my body.

I look in the mirror seeing Phoebe with my ice blue eyes looking back. I raised my right arm and she followed. The doctor said my DNA was different so I wasn't really Phoebe. I could see the differences; they were small and only noticeable when you looked. My skin was a little more darker and I had freckles lightly sprinkled on my shoulders and nose barely noticeable. I could see I had more muscle then Phoebe had and hips and bust were a little bigger. My eyes a little wider and lips a little thicker. They weren't big changes but you could see them nonetheless.

"This will be hard but I promise that I will look after your family." I say to my reflection.

For a second I see Phoebe smiling then I blink and she is gone.

All I see now is me and I hope that everyone else will see that too.
