It was late at night when Ianto fell asleep on the couch while watching an action movie on his own. Work had been tiring and within half an hour of pushing the play button his eyes had closed shut and his mind had started dreaming away about faraway places and unreachable goals. It was about an hour after his body had declared itself asleep that he was rudely awoken by the fierce sound of his mobile's ringtone. Groggily he opened his eyes one after another and tried to find the source of his disturbance. Just when he thought he found the culprit, his mobile silenced and he was ready to fall asleep again. But apparently, he didn't have that kind of luxury today as luck was definitely not on his side. The mobile started to ring again and by then his eyes had been fully opened and his mind awakened. There was no way that he would be able to fall asleep again before finding out who was so desperately trying to reach him. He took his mobile from where it had been hidden between the cushions of the couch and pushed the answer button without even seeing who was calling.

"Ianto." He said growling.

"Ianto, sorry to disturb you, but I need your help." Jack's jovial voice said as soon as he'd stopped talking. How could Jack be so happy at this hour? It was way past midnight at this point.

"I was asleep, thanks for waking me." He growled back his answer before Jack could say any more about the mysterious reason why he was needed at this late hour.

"I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you sometime later. Oh and by the way, happy Easter!"

"Yeah yeah, where should I meet you?"

"I'll text you the address, I'll need to call Gwen for this too, something big is happening." Quickly he put his phone back in his pocket and rubbed his eyes. He would need something - except adrenaline - to stay awake. As fast as he could he turned off the TV and Dvd player, putting the DVD back in its case and placing it back in the bookcase he used for his DVD collection. When he was done with that he quickly made a pitstop in the kitchen and took out a particular kind of lemonade that he used only for emergencies. It was far too sweet for his liking, but it did the deed of keeping him awake for a few more hours. After that, he would crash and sleep longer than he should, but he would just have to deal with that when the time came. In one go, he downed the contents of the lemonade can and chucked it away in the bin. Just then his phone started to vibrate in his pocket, one quick look told him that it was Jack with the address. Without a second thought, he ran out of his house, quickly locking it before he could forget that, and running down to his car. The car drive didn't take as long as he imagined, as the school was quite a few miles away from his place. But then again, his lack of sleep and the sheer panic through his body was enough to distract him. This was the school Mica and David went to, how could he not panic at that thought? He drove into the parking place, seeing only the SUV standing there and a waiting Jack.

''Jack what's going on?'' He asked in panic when he stepped out of the car. What was going on and why was Jack's face full of panic too?

''I think we have an Easter visitor.'' He just said.

''What do you mean?'' From the corner of his eye, he could see Gwen parking her own car and turning off the headlights just before stepping out and walking towards them. She was asking the same question he just had. So he hadn't enlightened her in what was going on either.

''Okay, I need you guys to be open-minded about this. I just went inside and found a few gigantic easter eggs. One as big as that tree behind you. They felt warm. One had been broken open, like a hitched chicken egg. I can only give you one explanation of what I think is going on and you're not going to like it.'' Jack avoided their eyes, looking at his shoes the whole time he was talking.

''Jack, just explain it to us!'' He said a little bit too angry, it might be because of the lack of sleep, but it could just as easily be because he just wanted to go to sleep and didn't want to waste precious time.

'' Okay okay, calm down. The Easter bunny is an alien from a faraway planet.'' Jack said as quick as he could. Gwen's mouth fell open in shock, but he just stood there like he hadn't heard Jack at all. It wasn't like he hadn't expected this to happen anyway. The Easter bunny was far too weird to not be alien in his mind, after all.

''And now?'' Both Jack and Gwen looked up at him, shock all over their face, but that was quickly hidden when Jack told them they had to catch the loose Easter bunny and its child. The other remaining eggs had to be caught and brought into the custody of Torchwood. If everything went smoothly they would be on their way back home within a few hours, if not they would have an alien Easter bunny in their cells from then on or have to dispose of the body. The possibilities were endless.

''Let's start then.'' Together, guns held high, they walked into the school. The dark surroundings made it look like a horror movie even more. Who would be caught and killed first? Their flashlight gave them a little bit more light than the blinking emergency lights that set the spooky atmosphere even more. They just reached the gigantic Easter eggs in the hallway when they heard a high-pitched giggle coming from somewhere behind them and the hopping of the creature. He was sure it was following them to attack them. Would it have sharp teeth that could rip out their throats like the weevils had?

''It's coming from behind us.'' He quietly told them while Jack kneeled down to look at the broken egg. Behind them stood those gigantic eggs Jack mentioned, it wasn't every day that you saw eggs the size of a one-story building. There it was again, the giggle, but this time it was closer. The sound was louder. It rang through the empty halls of the school normally buzzing with hundreds of students talking at the top of their lungs.

''Jack, I think we have a problem.'' He said shining his flashlight to where he'd thought the giggling had come from. Right there stood the shadow of one of the Easter bunnies they'd been trying to hunt down.

''Jack… what do we need to do?'' Gwen asked him, a little panicked that the creature was already this close after them just walking inside and estimating the situation. The creature hopped closer and closer. His heart was beating in its chest, not knowing what was going to happen.

And then the creature hopped right in front of them. Gwen let out a screech while he stood there as still as a wooden plank. His flashlight shone onto the creature and it was all he could do to not burst out into laughter. The big Easter bunny was standing right in front of them in the light. Its mouth open and its teeth looked just like the little bunnies they were used to in their life. It was smiling and giggling while it came closer. Jack did nothing while he sat there looking at the both of them.

''Don't tell me we're hunting down gigantic undangerous alien bunnies that won't harm a fly Jack!'' He told him through his teeth.

''Well… Then I won't.'' The bunny came closer and rubbed its fluffy head against Ianto's shoulder.

''Jack!'' He and Gwen said at the same time.

''Happy Easter guys!'' Jack said while placing a net over the happy, but gigantic, bunny in front of them.
