BTS- BoB

Rona: I'm Rona Barrett, Sleep tight...not you two...

Jay Daniel: (Director) cut!

Cybill and Bruce let go of their embrace and look towards Jay to see if he's happy with the take.

Jay: That's a wrap!

The whole set erupts in applause and the crew moves in and starts dismantling the set. A PA hands Bruce a bottle of water, which he takes a sip of as he chats with the script coordination who's approached him with a question. A few other crew members chat and joke with Bruce as they pass him. He slaps hands with one of the lighting guys who has been with them for years.

Meanwhile, Wardrobe is busy with Cybill... taking her jewelry and exchanging shoes so she can slip into the comfy sneakers she prefers. Rona's assistant walks her over to Cybill...

Rona: Cybill, I just wanted to say goodbye and thank you...

Cybill gives her a big hug...

Cybill: Thank you, Rona...

Bruce saunters over...he gives Rona a big hug as well...

Bruce: ...this was a lot of fun...thank you...thank you so much for doing this.

Rona: my pleasure...I'm glad we were able to pull it off on such short notice...Glenn just asked me to do this yesterday!

Bruce laughs and rubs his jaw...

Bruce: yeah, well...that's kinda how we operate around here...last minute.

He nods towards Cybill...

Bruce: Isn't that right, Cyb? (shoves his hands in his pockets and raises is shoulders) We don't have time to plan...we just…kinda… see what happens next...

Cybill: Yeah...it's kind of a fly by the seat of your pants operation.

Bruce: Exactly! (looks at his watch) normally we'd just be getting the pages to this week's script right about now...

Cybill: So... (puts her arm around Rona) if having you here, Rona, means we don't have to memorize pages of dialogue ...(hugs her tighter) please, come anytime.

They all laugh. Just then Jay Daniel's approaches with both Bruce and Cybill's mothers who happen to be on set today.

Cybill smiles as she untucks her pink silky blouse and gestures...

Cybill: Rona...this is my mother, Patty...

Rona: oh, wow, Patty, how wonderful to meet you.

They shake hands. And Cybill gestures to Bruce's mother...and this is Bruce's mother, Marlene...

Rona: Bruce's mom, too!? …have I forgotten Mother's Day or something…?

Cybill: (laughs) No…this was just by chance, my mother is here visiting me for the next few weeks…she's coming to the Golden Globes with me! ...and Marlene lives in LA...and they were both available to come and watch today...so...

Bruce: (interjects and gestures) ...so, here we all are...

Jay joins the group…

Rona: How wonderful...

Jay: ...and I hear you're even taking them to dinner...

Cybill: that's right...(joking) put that in one of your articles, Rona...tell everyone how well we get along here on the set of Moonlighting.

Bruce: (waves his hand) ...no one's interested in us getting along...being friendly...going to dinner. (Scoffs) that doesn't sell papers!

Rona: (smiles) if I wrote it, no one would believe it.

They laugh and Rona says goodbye again. Cybill gives her one last hug and Bruce kisses her on the cheek. Rona walks off with her publicist.

Jay: Well...that was a lot of fun.

Bruce: yeah...it was...it was...(sighs, looking slightly exhausted) and now we've got a few weeks off...

Jay: that's right, we're putting Curtis and Allyce at the helm next week...

Bruce: and I'm glad to let them have it.

Bruce checks his watch looking ready to leave the set… he looks at Cybill.

Bruce: Alright...so, we'll meet you over there?

Cybill: sure...I'm just going to change and we'll head over...Bruce (Oppenheim, her boyfriend...) should be on his way...

Bruce: He's meeting us there?

Cybill nods.

Cybill: What about Sherri?

Bruce: Same...

He looks across the room for his assistant...

Bruce: (calls) Lisa!...will you let Sherri know we're done filming?

Lisa: (calls back) I did...she knows.

Bruce takes a deep breath and raises his eyebrows...

Bruce: Guess we're all set then...

Cybill: (shrugs) Guess so...

Bruce puts his arm around his mother...

Bruce: shall we?

Marlene smiles and nods. Bruce shakes Jays hand

Bruce: Jay...my man, see you in a few weeks.

Jay: Bruce, I'll be in touch.

Bruce and his mother turn to walk off set.

Marlene: (waves) See you there Patty and Cybill.

Patty: oh, yes...see you soon.

As soon as they're out of earshot Patty turns to Cybill...

Patty: oooh, he is just so handsome.

She beams as Cybill takes her by the arm leading her off set with assistants and wardrobe following behind ...Cybill smiles and agrees.

Patty: Did you really kiss him in that last scene, Cybill?

Cybill: (waves her hand) eh...nah, we were kinda faking it.

Patty: well, you should have.

Patty laughs and playfully nudges her daughter with her shoulder.

Cybill: Mama...don't talk like that in front of Bruce O.

Patty: oh...no. Of course not.

Cybill and her mom go back to her trailer so Cybill can change.

Cybill: Isn't Marlene great?

Patty: oh, yes, wonderful...

Cybill: I wonder how she got such an asshole for a son...

Patty: Cybill, language...

Cybill: Sorry mama.

Patty: I adore, Bruce. He's a sweetheart...I know you're always saying he's...

Cybill: ...an asshole...

Patty: (warning) Cybill...

Cybill: ...ok, mama...

Patty: I know you say he has this other side...but I've never seen it.

Cybill slips into a nice pant outfit...

Cybill: That's because you don't have to spend 16-hours by his side.

Patty: yes, well it would be difficult to do that with anybody.

Cybill: true...I don't know many men who could handle me 16-hours a day.

Cybill looks in the mirror and fixes her lipstick.

Patty: yes, my dear...you are a lot to handle yourself...but you two do pretty well..., I mean, ...everything seemed just fine today...even though the show was trying to make a lot out of how bad your relationship...

Cybill: Yeah...well, that's just a response to all those horrible tabloid stories...

Patty makes a "tisk tisk" sounds...

Cybill: ...I mean... it's true, we don't always get along...but, actually, we've been ok lately. ...and finally having some breaks in shooting helps.

Cybill fluffs her hair...

Cybill: Alright, Mother...lets go...

Cybill's town car drives them into Beverly Hills.

Meanwhile...Bruce Willis and his mother entered Spago a few minutes before. They stand at the crowded bar chatting with Cybill's boyfriend, Bruce. After a few minutes, Sherri Rivera, Bruce's on and off again girlfriend, joins them, too. Bruce greets her with a kiss on the cheek, she gives his mother a light hug and then leans in so that Bruce O. can kiss her cheek.

Bruce and Sherri dated and lived together back in NYC, and while he was filming the Moonlighting pilot, they relocated to a house she already owned in Los Angeles, where they stayed for the next year or so after the series was picked up. Sherri is a journalist and writes for a small newspaper. She was never a fan of Bruce doing television and thought that he should hold out for movies roles instead of acting on some TV show. Her distain for television was apparent the first time she visited the Moonlighting set and because of this Sherri and Cybill never really hit it off from the beginning.

Over the years, Bruce moved out of Sherri's house and into a condo closer to the set and their relationship has been off and on ever since, but she remains someone he goes to for advice, he respects her, she is mature, a great mother to her son (with Geraldo Rivera) and he finds her attractive as hell.

Two girls approach Bruce Willis and ask if they can take a picture with him. His mother beams as he poses with them.

Bruce O. Gets up off the stool he's sitting on and gestures for Sherri to take it. She sits and they chat. Bruce hands his mom a drink from the bar and she and Bruce O chat. It's a very boisterous atmosphere in the restaurant and everyone relaxes with the drinks.

Cybill and her mom hit a little traffic on the way to the restaurant, but soon they arrive and are swarmed with paparazzi as they exit the car.

Paparazzi 1: Hey, Cybill! Do you know Bruce Willis is in there!?

Paparazzi 2: What's the scoop, Cyb...you two fightin' or what?

Paparazzi 1: I hear you can't stand each other...avoid that asshole, Cybill...go to Ports!

Cybill's mom is both entertained and overwhelmed with all the flashing lights and attention...Cybill laughs at the paparazzi's comments and they make their way inside to the host desk. Cybill talks to the host.

Cybill: Shepherd, party of six.

Host: Yes Ms. Shepherd...the rest of your party is at the bar. Would you care to join them for a drink or be seated?

Cybill: no...no...we'll be seated.

Cybill strains to look over at the bar and catches Bruce O.'s eye and waves. He waves back...she points towards the dining room so he knows they are being seated. One host leads the way for Cybill and Patty and another host moves towards the rest of the party and leads them towards the big, round table where they all meet and greet each other with kisses and hugs.

Cybill sits with her mother on one side and Sherri on the other, then Bruce O, and then Marlene and Bruce W. Between his mother and Pattie. Bruce O. knows it's his job to chat with Sherri most of the time because she isn't Cybill's favorite person...but Bruce O., finds her charming and interesting...they've sat through many an awards show and after parties together over the last couple years.

Bruce W., immediately calls for the waiters attention and order a smattering of appetizers for the table, a bottle of champagne and a few different bottles of wine. Cybill looks at him and jokes...

Cybill: Champagne? Dinner's on you tonight, then?

Bruce: Hell no...you have Taxi Driver money...we'll deduct this from the Shepherd estate.

Cybill scoffs...

Cybill: Taxi Driver money? Please...

Bruce: ok, fine...

Cybill: We'll split it, Bruce...

Bruce: Don't worry about it...I got it. I got it.

Champagne is poured and Bruce W raises his glass...

Bruce: Live it up everyone...it's not often family gets together...We'll use a little Moonlighting money on this.

Bruce winks at Cybill and lifts his glass. They all cheers, chat and peruse the menu.

A couple hours later everyone has eaten too much and had plenty to drink as Bruce ordered the waiter to "keep the booze flowing..."

They are joking about some of the things that have happened on set.

Cybill: (pointing at BW) ...if this one would get dressed once in a while...is a robe and boxers the only thing you keep in that trailer...?

Bruce: ...hey, what else do I need?

Smirks.

Cybill: Guess it makes it easy when "fans" come pay you a visit...

Throws her a warning look...

Bruce: I don't know what you're talking about, fans...

Cybill catches his signal...

Cybill: groupies...(puts her hand up and looks toward Sherri) I'm joking, I'm joking...

Bruce: ...hey, I'm relaxed...unlike you…at least I'm not throwing chairs at people...

Cybill: ...I did not throw anything at Glenn...I threw it at the wall...

Bruce laughs...

Bruce: that's better...

Cybill: ...trust me, if I wanted to hit Glenn with a chair, I would have...he's too big to miss...

Everyone laughs...Cybill's mom hits her lightly her arm as if she's being bad.

Bruce: and we wonder where these tabloid stories start.

Cybill: (points at Bruce) ...you know the paparazzi was warning me you were in here tonight...

Bruce: ...oh yeah? They were probably hoping for a big fight...but you know what we should do?

Cybill: ...what...

Bruce: (inebriated; holds a wine glass and points across the table) ...we'll give them the opposite...when we are at the Globes in a couple weeks...if anyone asks about trouble on the set...or trouble between us ...you and I will just kiss, right then and there...

Cybill: (teases) right there and then?

Bruce: ...right then...what are they going to say to that, huh? They won't have nothin' to say...

He raises his glass and downs more wine.

Cybill: ...yeah, we'll show them...!

She smiles and raises her glass to Bruce before swallowing the rest of her champagne.

After a bit, everyone makes their way outside to the valet stand to wait for their cars to drive them home. Cybill wraps her arms around Bruce O. from the side, being very affectionate. Patty and Marlene hug, Bruce holds Sherri's hand...as their cars arrive everyone hugs each other and says their goodbyes. A truly lovely evening was had by all.

Everyone enjoys their break, but soon enough they are all back on set during the last week of January to start filming Blonde on Blonde...the first of four shows that will lead up to Maddie and David finally sleeping together after three years of foreplay in the form of banter...fights and innuendo.

Cybill and Bruce only have two main scenes together in the episode and then the plot takes David off on a wild goose chase thinking he's following, Maddie...but it turns out to be another woman. Because of this, Cybill will have a shorter schedule this week, which is great because she has been absolutely exhausted lately and a bit under the weather. Bruce and Cybill see each other for the first time again when they meet to block the scene where Maddie comes into work even though she calls in sick and she and David banter...or, banter about not bantering, in Maddie's office. Bruce enters with open arms being a little silly...

Bruce: Cyb-y...I missed ye...

Cybill walks towards him...

Cybill: My second favorite Bruce.

They hug.

Bruce: That's fair.

Bruce: Hey, Cybill...you know what I was laughing about this morning?

Cybill's reading through her pages.

Bruce: "…No tuner I..."

Cybill: Oh my god...your favorite...we hated doing iambic pentameter...why do you always bring it up...

Bruce: Great lines...

Cybill: I do love those words I have to say...

She walks over to the couch, sits down and lays her head back.

Bruce: do them with me.

Cybill: later, Bruce.

Noticing Cybill looks a little peaked, he walks closer with his hands in his pockets and his head cocked sideways...

Bruce: how're you doin?

Cybill looks up...

Cybill: Me? Fine...I'm just tired. Probably having all that company the last few weeks.

Bruce: yeah...right? ...we're either working too hard or trying to play catch up with family and friends. (Grins) how's your mom doin'? She miss me?

Cybill laughs.

Cybill: she's smitten. I warned her to tone it down around Oppenheim.

Bruce: See? Like I always say...I've got a way with the ladies… of any age...

He flops down on the couch next to Cybill...

Cybill glances over...speaking of ladies...

Bruce: Yeah...?

Cybill: ...Sherri...?

Bruce: (acting confused) ...Sherri, yeah...?

Cybill: Yeah...well...I thought you two were done and then she's at dinner the other night...plus, she's your date to the Globes...?

Bruce: (unsure) Yeah...

Cybill laughs and gives him a look like he's being ridiculous...

Cybill: So?

Bruce: So...nothing really...there is no one else I'm dating seriously and I enjoy her company.

Cybill: (teasing) So, you're not going to marry her...

Bruce glances over...and makes a face...

Bruce: Marry...

Cybill: well, you've been with her a long time...since back in New York, right?

Bruce: (thinks) yeah, been about 3 1/2 years I guess.

Cybill: That's a long time.

Bruce: (Shrugs) She's always been a big support for me...I care about her a lot ...

Cybill: Well, she certainly seems to keep coming back into your life...

Bruce starts to say something and then Jay Daniel walks in...he's directing Blonde on Blonde and Cybill and Bruce both look forward to working with him on this episode...to them, besides Glenn, no one else knows...or cares about the show and characters more than Jay. Bruce stands up...

Bruce: there he is...

The men shake hands...Cybill waves from the couch.

Cybill: Hi, Jay.

Jay: Hey gang, ready to get started?

Jay knows just what he wants from the scene and it's really easy for the three of them to work together. They quickly block the way David reads Maddie's mood and follows her around the office trying to instigate a fight. Gerry Finnerman comes in and they talk about lighting. They get it all worked out and Cybill and Bruce go into wardrobe and then come back after the lighting is ready and film the scene, which takes most of the morning until lunch.

After lunch they come back and talk about the scene where Maddie returns to the office later that night. Gerry Finnerman has some really special lighting in mind for the scene in mind...deep blues and yellows...silhouettes, soft lighting on Bruce and Cybill. Everyone is aware that these episodes are what the series has been leading up to and they're putting their best effort forward.

They spend the rest of the day filming the night scene in Maddie's office and then David chasing her into the main office and then a quick set up in a bar and then call it a night. Cybill and Bruce walk off set together...

Cybill: where ya headed?

Bruce: (looks at his watch) Sherri's

Cybill: Ah.

Bruce: (looks at her, shrugs and smiles) I know...I know...

Cybill: Hey, why give up a good thing...she's there when you need her, but you're free to do what you want.

Bruce ruffles his hair.

Bruce: ...it works for now I guess...how 'bout you? How're things with Bruce? You two looked pretty cozy the other night...

Cybill: (looks down and shrugs) I don't know...

Bruce: Same ole same ole?

Cybill: well...we had a nice couple weeks with family...but yeah. Same problems we've always had...who knows where that's going. ...no one gets much of our attention with this job.

Bruce: No they do not...

The actors reach the path where they split to go to their separate trailers...

Cybill: Well, tell Sherri I said, Hi.

Bruce: yeah,?

Cybill: sure! Sounds like she could still be around awhile.

Bruce: well, who knows...time will tell. Alright well, I'll see you later this week.

Cybill: Oh…right! I'll see you at the Globes...

Bruce: (smiles) that's right! (He holds onto Cybill's arm) ...so, you remember our plan?

Cybill: what's that?

Bruce: when they ask about problems around the set or us not getting along, I'm going to say..."...here's your answer..." and then you and I will kiss...

Cybill smiles...

Cybill: we're really going to do that?

Bruce: sure, why not, it'll be funny.

Cybill: O...k...

She pulls away from him and starts to walk to her trailer.

Bruce: O...k...see you there.

Cybill: Yep...

The rest of the week Bruce films with Curtis Armstrong as they follow Maddie to a grocery store and then a bar. They are shooting at night and everyone is hanging around the Fox lot waiting to be called to set. The crew is mounting a car on a tow so that Bruce and Curtis can do a driving scene.

As they're waiting, Curtis walks back from the commissary with a young woman who he's chatted with a few times. She works in the make-up trailer of another show on the lot. They see Bruce Willis approaching them and the woman gets excited...

Curtis: oh, you haven't met, Bruce?

Woman: No...I'd love to...

Curtis: well, come on, I'll introduce you.

As they cross Bruce's path, Curtis introduces the girl to Bruce. Bruce is immediately drawn in by her friendly smile, soft brown hair and dazzling blue eyes. Bruce is flirty by nature but pours on the charm for with this one. A moment later, Curtis walks away expecting the woman to still be by his side, but when he glances over, she is no longer walking along. Curtis spins around just in time to see the woman walking off with Bruce...the two are heavily flirting and laughing as they head for his trailer.

About an hour later, Curtis sits in the tow-car waiting for Bruce. After a few minutes the passenger door is pulled open and Bruce slides in with a dazed look in his eye... he gazes over at Curtis...

Bruce: ...I'm never getting married...

Curtis is caught off guard not knowing what to say...

Curtis: No?

Bruce: Hell no...the perks of fame are too good...(looks Curtis up and down) well...you know.

Curtis: I do? ...I mean ...I do. But...I'd ...ah...love to be married.

Bruce puckers his lips and looks at him with a blank face. Just then, The director calls their attention to the scene and filming begins.

Later that week...Cybill is in a bit of a rush preparing for the Golden Globe Awards early in the day because a camera crew is coming to film for an Awards special on female celebrities and their mothers. Once her hair and makeup are done her assistant helps her into her sparkling, coral gown...but as Cybill pulls it down over her hips it's not fitting like it did a few weeks before when she tried it on for the tailor. The belted dress, that fit so nicely before, is snug and pulls in the mid-section. A bolt of fear and wonder shoots through Cybill...exhaustion, a swollen belly and tender breasts as of late...could she be? For the moment she shakes off these thoughts, she doesn't want her assistant thinking it is anything other than a little weight gain. She looks in the mirror and adjusts her belt as her assistant pulls the material so it lays as nicely as possible.

Cybill: ...damn, I haven't been riding my bike at all during this break from work...and with mother and Mondo here there's been so much extra food. I should have been more careful...

Assistant: it looks fine...just don't eat much at dinner...

She circles Cybill, smoothing and tucking. Cybill eyes herself in the mirror...she sees it now...puffy eyes, a barely visible bump in her lower abdomen...she wasn't far along, but the signs were there, she felt it in her bones...she was pregnant.

Meanwhile, Bruce Willis is across town basking in the sun by the pool in his backyard with a girl named Nikki that he brought home from a club the night before...his wet hair slicked back, sunglasses on...he looks relaxed and handsome as hell...he traces imaginary lines around Nikki's back...

Nikki: what's the best thing about being a big star in this town...?

Bruce: ...getting a table anywhere you want...(thinks) the money...(kisses her shoulder) ...meeting girls like you.

Nikki smiles a coy smile at him.

Nikki: what do you like better...making your TV show or making movies...

He strokes her hair.

Bruce: ultimately, I want to make movies...but I still enjoy making the show.

Bruce props himself up on the palm of his hand and eyes Nikki up and down, her slim body still wet from skinny dipping in the pool..

Nikki: is it hard memorizing all those lines...?

Bruce: Nope...

He strokes her hair...

Nikki: What about that actress you work with...

Bruce: ...which one? I work with lots of actresses...

Nikki: ...you know, the one on your show...the main one...Cin...

Bruce moves her hair to the side, moving in to kiss her neck...

Bruce: Cybill...what about her?

Nikki: ...do you get along with her or what?

Bruce: (he pulls back and jokes) hey, what is this, an interview?

Nikki runs her fingers through his hair and tugs at it teasingly...he leans forward and kisses her...

A few hours later, Bruce is dressed in a black tuxedo with gray lapels, sitting in a stretch limo provided by ABC. His date, Sherri, sits next to him as they head to the awards show. Although they are on and off again, Sherri is Bruce's regular date to most public appearances as she's been around the moonlighting cast and crew since the beginning and it's always a fun night when everyone gets together.

Meanwhile...Cybill, Patty and Bruce O., make their way down the red carpet and into the auditorium ...they find the moonlighting tables at the center of the room where Jay, Glenn, their wives and other cast and crew from Moonlighting sit. Patty and Bruce sit and chat with people nearby while Cybill moves around the room chatting with the cast of the Golden Girls, who are nominated in her category, and actors and actresses from other shows.

Bruce Willis arrives with Sherri on his arm looking smug and content. They make their way down the red carpet, into the auditorium and over to the Moonlighting tables. He chats with Jay and Glenn and others and makes his way around the room. By the time he gets back to the tables Cybill is seated at the table next to his. He quickly pops over and kisses Cybill and her mother on the cheek and shakes Bruce O's hand. The show begins.

That night both Cybill and Bruce win the best actor and actress awards in their categories. They meet backstage at the press conference and answer questions together about the show and winning the awards that night. Sure enough one of the press asks...

Reporter: we hear so much about trouble...between the two of you...trouble on the set. How much truth is there to that?

Bruce puts his finger up...

Bruce: Let me answer that question right now, pal...

He takes Cybill in his arms, they embrace, he leans her back and they kiss. The room erupts in laughter and applause, Cybill and Bruce both laugh and let go of each other and Bruce says...

Bruce: ...there's no trouble on the set...there is no trouble on the set.

Once the press conference is over Bruce and Cybill bound off the stage where Patty is waiting for them...they both kiss her on the cheek and then Bruce goes to find Sherri and schmoozes around the room. Cybill introduces her mother around and chats with others as they make their way out of the auditorium.

Everyone meets up for the after party at La Scala Restaurant nearby – champagne is flowing and someone hands Cybill a glass…she takes it and after the toast pretends to sip…in the excitement of the night, no one notices whether she's drinking or not…but as she looks around at everyone's beaming faces she thinks about what's to come…what might change in the coming months if she is…what she thinks she is…and how everyone might react.

The next Monday Cybill shows up to the set late because she is tired and nauseous. She hasn't been to the doctor yet, but she knows in her gut she's pregnant, but she's keeping these thoughts to herself for now. Once they knew Cybill was coming in later, the Moonlighting crew started filming early with Bruce, so when she finally arrives it's a hive of activity and no one really notices she's a bit off. Still, as usual things are running a bit behind so she's ushered into makeup with pages of a script shoved into her hands. Glenn Gordon Caron approaches.

Glenn: There you are…we're gonna need you on set pretty quick here…

Cybill: Morning…I'm fine, thanks…feeling much better.

Glenn: Yes…sure…right, great…good to know, it's just we've got a lot of work to do here and we're already behind.

Cybill: (Holds up the pages) …and I've already got a whole eight pages to work with…how far will that get us? I should have come in a littler later to avoid waiting around for hours for more pages.

Glenn: Leave the writing to me…I just need you to be onset…on time.

Cybill: …really, Glenn…this is how you want to start off? I wasn't feeling well, ok? From what I hear you still got plenty done today, so get off my back.

Glenn: Yes…well, Bruce was here, like he always is…so luckily we were able to work and get something in the can. You know as well as anyone if we don't get a head start on Monday it makes for a very long week.

Cybill: Right…noted…come in even if puking. Is there money in the budget for puke bags onset?

Glenn: If it means you fulfilling the hours of your contract, Cybill…I'll have a PA with a bucket on standby.

Cybill: (Dripping with sarcasm) Wow, Glenn…you are…so accommodating.

Glenn walks away in a huff and Cybill takes a deep breath, holds her stomach and tries to push back another wave of nausea. She glances in the mirror and sees the dark circles under her eyes.

Cybill: (gestures to the makeup woman) Need a heavier foundation on these today.

The make-up woman gives her a half-sympathetic smile in the mirror and dabs concealer under her eyes.

After makeup, Cybill is called to the set to do blocking for a scene in Maddie's office. She seems Bruce for the first time on set. After his discussion with the director, Sam Weisman, ends he shoves his hands into his pockets and makes his way over to Cybill.

Bruce: Nice of you to show up…

Cybill: What is this? Give Cybill shit day?

Bruce: (Chuckles) Glenn take you to the woodshed?

Cybill: …gave me 40 lashes.

Bruce: (shakes his head and chuckles) …you two….

Cybill: (irritated) Me?

Bruce: (Deflects) …so...you feeling better or what?

Cybill: Gosh, the empathy just oozes our of everyone here. Yeah, I'm fine, thanks…

Bruce: (Snaps his fingers and points at her) Just looking to get through the workday.

Cybill goes back to reading her lines and soon they film the first scene for the next episode…

THE END.
