Prologue 1

This is it…

The final moment that he was waiting for. The moment that will decide the future of humankind. Will it be free or whether it would be turned into fertilizer to nourish a big tree. He has lost everything for this moment, Right now he does not care about the present and nor does he regret the past. If there is anything driving him; then it is the worry for the future.

Now you might be wondering who he is? Or what is happening right now? And why does it sound like something bad has happened? Well you are not wrong to think that.

This HE in question is a boy in his late teen years or 17 years old to be name is Uzumaki Naruto. With hair was as golden as the rays of sun. He possesses eyes as calm as blue sky but at the moment those eyes are as gold and burning as the sun with a cross in them. This boy possesses a very handsome heart shaped face, with almond shaped eyes and three distinctive whiskers like markings on each cheek. His skin was just correctly tanned like kissed by the sun itself.

His normal everyday attire consists of an orange and black hoodie , with a mash shirt underneeth. He also wore orange pants with bandages wrapped around thighs and shins. His outfit also possesses a pouch on his hip and holsters on his outer thighs which have kunai in them. Finally his outfit is completed by black open Toed sandals and a black headband with a metal plate containing a stylized leaf symbol in it. But at the moment his body is coated in yellow chakra; a sort of circular design is featured prominently over his stomach; the whisker-like markings on his face become thicker to resemble the trigram; six magatama markings are present on or around his collar; various other dark designs appear along his body, sometimes densely enough to give the appearance that he's wearing a bodysuit beneath the yellow coat. He also has six black orbs floating behind him and two staffs made of the same material as the black orbs.

You might be wondering what such a boy had to do anything with this moment, well you see he is not alone. He is looking at someone floating across from him in the sky. This someone is a woman who had extremely long, sweeping light colored hair that touched the ground nearly 4 feet long. Most noticeable was her two horn-like protrusions which stuck out from her head appendages. Her eyebrows were cut very short and nearly thin, a symbol of her royal nobility, and she wore a dark shade of lipstick on her lips and a dark shade of nail polish on her long sharp fingernails. She wore the transitional high-collared hime-kimono which was adorned with intricate lines and tomoe running down the centre and edges of the gown. Her most noticeable feature was that she possessed the Byakugan, and also had a Fugen dojutsu on the centre of her forehead that's eyelids parted vertically.

This person… No goddess was responsible for Naruto worrying about the future. He could not let her get away from here. He has to defeat her no matter the cost. His team sacrificed themselves for giving him a chance to defeat this being. He could still remember the way this goddess pierced sakura with her all killing ash bones while she was healing obito. How she ripped obito's sharingan and crushed it in her hand and how obito can do nothing but getting turned to ash. He also remember how Kakashi sensei thought of fighting from distance and tried to seal her into his kamui dimension, but he forgot about her space-time ninjutsu and got stabbed in the back by bone and died in the same way as the other two. Finally, when it was him and the 'Avenger' turned 'hero' was left they managed to fight her and even got a cut on her, but she healed right away. He would have died after kakashi but sasuke pushed him out of the way of one of her attacks and guess what? Got stabbed by her bone and died.

The worst part of all this is that she did all this while missing one arm. Even in such serious time he thought funnily that, This woman really knows how to get bones hard enough to pierce people with them. That clearly shows her skill with handling bones.

"Ha. Never thought I'd hear such a joke from you, Naruto." a voice inside his head said.

When naruto heard the voice in his head he merely willed his consciousness to appear in his mindscape. What greeted him there was a sight which could have frightened anyone else, but not him for a justified reason. Because not everyone possess a monstrous chakra beast in their head. Yes you heard correct, he has a chakra beast known as the nine tailed beast sealed inside him.

The Nine tails is a red-orange colored kitsune with black fur around its red eyes that stretch up to its ears, and nine long swiping tails. It also has an upper-body structure of a human, complete with opposable thumbs on its clawed hands. It is Called Kurama.

This is the fabled nine tails known to be strongest in all the tailed beasts. He is said to be so strong that he can level a mountain in a single attack. For Generations the hidden leaf village has hosted the nine tails. With naruto being its third jinchuuriki. Naruto's mother was its previous jinchuriki.

After he fully materialized inside his mindscape Naruto fully turned to the stern looking nine tails and said, " Come on laugh some bit, and here i thought i made a nice joke." , he then said, "Why is it so hard to believe that I can also make such jokes? I mean I had travelled with Jiraya on my training trip."

"Ah yes, that perverted hermit would have rubbed up on you in some way. I should have guessed that." Said kumara while exhaling a sigh after realizing that his host might not be as pure as he thought he would be. But then he turned serious and asked, " joking aside Naruto, have you thought of a way to defeat kaguya ? You can't just evade her attacks forever."

After hearing Kurama say this Naruto turned serious as well and started looking serious and thinking of something. After thinking for some time Naruto turned his serious eyes towards Kurama and said…..

"I don't know."... "WHAT!"

Naruto massaged his head as the voice of the tailed beast echoed in his head. After the ringing calmed down he looked up to see nine tails looking at him unbelievingly. 'Can you blame him though, I mean the only person he thought who could finish kaguya said that he doesn't know how to defeat her ? Yeah I would also be reacting the same as him if i hear that.' Thought Naruto.

" What do you mean you 'Don't know'? Weren't you talking about how you are going to defeat kaguya and bring peace to the elemental nations?" , snidely asked Kurama."Naruto now is not the time for such jokes.",

" Exactly as I said. I tried everything I had to defeat her, but she ether nullifies my attacks or just easily changes dimensions.", said Naruto while looking at Nine tails. "Even all of us combined she managed to kill all others, now it is only me fighting her. The only chance we have is to seal her using the seal given to me and Sasuke by old man sage. It is a good thing that before Sasuke died he transferred his half of the seal to me. But even then it would be very hard to go near her and try to seal her." Further Explained Naruto.

"So are you going to give up, Naruto?" asked Kurama. When he didn't receive any answer he looked at Naruto to see him looking down at his feet. Not being able to take the silent any longer Kurama started again." Why are you talking about stopping Naruto? Are you afraid of dying? Or did you lose all your determination against a foe like kaguya? Is this why your friends sacrificed themselves for you? If they did, then I think they wasted their lives on you."

When Naruto didn't answered or said anything kurama continued," if there is one thing I realized while being sealed inside you , is that you have always fought with opponents much stronger than you and you have always won." When kurama said this to naruto, if anyone would have been there besides naruto and Kurama, they could have seen that Kurama is not talking like his usual arrogant self. They could have noticed that Kurama is talking like he is very proud of Naruto's feats.

Seeing that he has his jinchurikis attention, Kurama continued, " You have always fought while keeping your head held high and always looking in the eyes of your enemies. That's why I don't believe that this person here is my jinchuriki who would stand up against even the ten-tails without thinking about his own well being. This here is someone who is afraid of even looking at his enemy. That's why I said your friends' lives were wasted on you."

When Naruto listened to him, he realized what Kurama was trying to do. Naruto realized that kurama is supporting him in his battle against Kaguya. Kurama can understand what his jinchuriki is going through so he said this to Naruto cause he realised that against someone as strong as kaguya anyone would lose their will to fight, and Naruto here is still just a child. Accepted that he is rather special then other children his age but still it is still rather hard for a child to carry the world on his shoulders. So kurama talks to him causehe knows, he has the best chance of convincing Naruto to fight again.

Finally after what seems like forever naruto said, " sorry, for making you worry about me." as he said this he looked up and Kurame see that the fire in his eyes which was on the brink of being sniffed out was back and burning like a wild inferno. " I was such a fool to think that i had lost everything. I still got you. We will defeat kaguya and return back to our home."

" I expect nothing less from you naruto. Now let's go and defeat her." Said Kurama. After Kurama saw that Naruto's mood is back to normal he said, " Enough talking now kit. Get out of here and defeat that evil woman."

Naruto looked one last time in Kurama's eyes and Said, " Yeah I would defeat her." And disappeared from his mindscape.

Out of mindscape.

Time inside of someone's mindscape moves very differently from the real world. Even if you spend a whole day in your mindscape only a minute would have passed in the real world. So it was not a surprise to naruto that when he opened his eyes he saw that kaguya had stopped from some distance away from him and was just hovering there.

Looking at her naruto said " Sorry for making you wait, old hag. I'll make sure not to take much time of yours now. I'll defeat you in no time."

Hearing this, Kaguya looked at Naruto and said," I see that you are back in fighting condition. Very well I'll test that claim of yours."

Saying this she flew towards naruto at breakneck speed and naruto stepped out of her way. Being back in his mood Naruto now was having a less hard time fighting her. Most of her attacks were dogged by naruto and some were even dealt by him. This back and forth went on for some time, and all this fight created a lot of dust clouds. Naruto thought of using these clouds in his favour and asked kurama for help.

Hearing his host ask for help, Kurama said, " I have an idea. You fight her and Send a clone to use that opportunity to transform into the black zetsu. After it turned into black zetsu threw it towards kaguya. I know that it'll throw her off guard. Once that happens then you use that momentary pause to seal her."

'Wow kurama you sure knows how to make a plan. Ok we will go with that.' Mentally said naruto and said " Shadow clone Jutsu". Once the clone was formed it already knew what to do. As planned it turned into black zetsu and naruto picked it up. Naruto came out of the smokescreen and shouted at Kaguya while throwing his transformed clone at her, " Hey Kaguya did you forget your kid?"

Kaguya looked at naruto when he said that and saw him throwing black zetsu at her. Now even though Kaguya was a Goddess she fell for this trick for two reasons, first was that in all this fight the dust has also spread over to where Black zetsu was. And second was no matter how powerful she was or how cruel people said she was; she still loved all her children. So even though she could have avoided Naruto's trick, Due to this reason she fell for his trick.

Seeing that kaguya fell for their trap, Naruto suddenly got another idea and asked Kurama, ' Hey Kurama, can I use the seal given by the old man sage to seal kaguya into myself?'

At such a question Kurama was stunned mementerily but said, " Yes, you can. But why do you want to seal her inside yourself? Won't it be easy to just seal her here?"

Hearing this naruto said, ' If we seal her here then there might be a chance that someone in future might again break her out of it. But if we seal her inside me using old man sages jutsu and combine my reaper death seal with it then after i die kaguya will also die with me.'

Seeing the logic in Naruto's statement Kurama said, " I understand. But there is a chance that her will would overtake you."

On this Naruto only said, ' Believe me, Kurama. I'm not that easy to take over.'

"I know kit. Go for it." Said Kurama. When he saw kaguya holding Naruto's clone.

While all this mental conversation was going on inside Naruto's head in the outside world, Naruto's Clone looked up to see Kaguya holding it , and transformed. This momentarily stunned Kaguya and Naruto as planned to use this opportunity and used his enhanced speed given to him by six paths sage mode and got into her guard and put his both hands on her chest. As soon as Naruto touched her as he wanted Kaguya started to get sucked up in his Reaper death seal.

When Kaguya realised what naruto is planning to do she said, " What are you doing, human? Do you really think that if you sealed me inside yourself , You will be able to seal me forever. One day when you will die I'll be free again and then there would be nobody to stop me."

Hearing this Naruto merely smirked and looked at kaguya, and for some Reason Kaguya didn't liked that smirk. What he said next confirmed her feeling of unease.

"I know that you are an immortal being, that's why i'm also going to use my reaper death seal on you so that when i die the, shinigami will also claim your soul with me."

When she heard Naruto say this at first she thought he was joking but, as she felt her power leaving she began to thought she has to do something or else she was going to die. So in her last ditch effort she opened her Dimension travelling portal and put as much power as she could in it.

After she saw the portal She looked at naruto and said, " Very well human. If I'm going to lose everything then you also have to lose everything."

As Naruto saw what Kaguya was planning on doing and realized that he was already at the entrance of the portal, he created a shadow clone and said, " I Don't think i'm going to make it. Get out of here and free everyone out of the genjutsu."

But before his clone could even reply, Naruto and Kaguya had already fallen in the portal and it was closed behind them. Suddenly the clone felt the ground rumble and saw that while naruto was sealing Kaguya he was also freeing the tailed beasts from her and they have fully reformed. After making sure that all the tailed beasts have fully reformed , the clone did as instructed and got out of Kaguya's dimension.

When the Sage asked the clone about what happened , it told everything to the sage. After hearing everything that happened, all the present reanimated shinobi , all the tailed beasts and even the sage bowed their heads for the hero who sacrificed his very life for the Shinobi world. After all the shinobi frozen in genjutsu were freed by the clone it poofed out of existence.

When all the people learned of this, some celebrated for winning the war, some mourned for losing their relatives, while some were so shocked that they didn't even know what to do. But there was no denying that everybody on the battlefield were very much sad and Grateful for the hero who saved them.

Even though this Hero disappeared from their world and was never heard again, his story was passed down in time and he became immortal in the hearts of the people and in history.

" Wow. Can you tell me this story again please?" asked a little girl with long blonde hair, large blue eyes, and a heart-shaped face. She was wearing a white shirt and a brown skirt. She also has a hat on her head. Apparently whatever story they were reading was very favorite of the girl , if the stars in her eyes are to be considered.

"I could but no ,that's it for today. When i come tomorrow I'll read you this story again." Responded a tall girl with long, smooth, dark hair; stopping well past her shoulders. She has had large blue eyes and a rounded face. Her clothes were rather normal. As she was closing the book, she turned towards the little girl to see her looking back at her with a cute pout on her face. Despite wanting to agree with her little request after seeing that adorable pout, the older girl said, " Come on Historia. You know I have to go now. Besides if i stayed any longer and read you this story again then who is going to complete your work ? "

That seems to snap the little girl back to present, as she hurriedly stood up on her feet and said, " Ah you are right. I forgot to do my work today. Okay then I'll let you go for today, but promise me you would visit me tomorrow again ?"

After standing up from her place while putting the story book in her bag; the older girl took the little girl in a hug and said, " ohh you are so cute, Historia. Ok as your older sister I promise you that if you did all your work today I'll read you two stories tomorrow."

After hearing this the little girl looked at her big sister in pure joy and said, " Thank you big sister, Frieda."

The older girl now named Frieda suddenly turned sad and sat on her knees and looked into Historia's eyes and said, " No thank you for being my sister, Historia." Before Historia can reply Frieda touched her forehead with Historia's and; suddenly there was a little spark between their forehead.

For a moment Historia's eyes looked lost and when they refocused she saw that a tall beautiful girl was standing some distance away from her and waving at her. Not knowing what to do She waved back, but before Historia could ask her anything ; someone from the farm she worked on called to her. Spearing the beautiful girl one last look, Historia ran towards the farm.

Frieda watched Historia run towards the farm with sadness in her now sparkling eyes and said to herself, ' Forgive me Historia for using the power of the founder to alter your memories of me. But I promise you that it won't be much long till we can be together like a real family.' After this, Frieda turned around and left the farm.

Both of them were unaware that the story they just read was not some myth, and that they would get to meet the so called characters of this story in real life.
