Hey everyone, back with a one-shot. Shout out to Dexter. Romano(no space), who helped me out as beta. A small story idea that I got at 2 in the morning. Won't you agree, that all the best ideas pop up late in the night... all that shit about early mornings being the time when our minds are the freshest.

Also, I dropped a Harry Potter reference in there. It's got something to do with Severus Snape. Hint, it's one of his favorite catchphrases.

Percy was sleeping. He was completely asleep without a care in the world.

"Wake up Percy!"

"C'mon Percy, please, I can't take this anymore, please, wake up!" The last part was said at the top of her voice.

"Aajhcecnoqmaxbn"

"Ugh, are you gonna get up, or not?!" She (now) threatened.

Sally walked in.

"Are you trying to wake him up?"

"What does it look like Sally?" She said, frustrated.

"Ha," *snorts*, "Sorry to disappoint, but that's not happening. He doesn't wake up before 10 on holidays…"

"But-but how can his body know today is a holiday? I mean, it isn't a planned holiday! 'Till two days ago there was no lockdown, today isn't a regular holiday so how-ARGH!" She said, the frustration now giving way to anger.

"Trying to wake up Mr. Insouciant?" Estelle said, poking her head through the door, and continuing in a mocking voice, "Yeah, that's gonna happen…" fading out.

Just like that.

"Aajhcecnoqmaxbn" Mumbled Percy, yet again.

'She' was still staring at the door when she said, "What am I missing?"

"Look, why don't I make you a cup of coffee, Percy's not waking up before 10:00 …or 12:00."

"But he - he promised that he'd go jogging with me, and no thanks, coffee's not good for children."

"So, you admit that you're a child then?"

She just stuck up her nose and did not grace that taunt with a response.

Sally finally relented. "Sweetie, if you wanna go for a jog with Percy, you're gonna have to wait for a few more hou-"

"AAAAAAAAAAA! MY BALLS!" Percy woke up screaming and then proceeded to check if 'they' were okay.

Well, folks, I'm happy to report, that they, a.k.a., Percy's balls, are in fact, oka- not oka- okay. Yes, I'm pretty sure that they're okay. (?)

Sally and Annabeth gaped- quite openly too- at Percy.

It was 6 am, and Percy was awake.

Percy.

Awake.

At 6.

Sally shook her head and blinked a few times, at times, both at the same time. (A/N; Ik, it's confusing, bear with me.)

Annabeth had a smug look on her face. "See, my boyfriend's not a complete dunderhead."

"AAA-, stay away from me, nut-buster!" - (A/N; Annabeth woulda done Artemis proud.) - Screamed Percy as he scrambled away from Annabeth and into his mother's arms.

"What do you mean, Seaweed brain?" She said as she reached out to hold his hand comfortingly…

Percy then proceeds to bury himself into 'mommy's' arms.

"No, you evil kicker, stay away from me!"

"Percy, stop screaming, it's 6 in the morning, for Christ's sake… Not that it's happened before, but still." 'Mommy' said, ever so softly.

"Uh, well, last night, when Annabeth snuck into my room to cuddle," Annabeth's eyes widened in shock, but she was not able to do anything to stop him due to sheer surprise, "as usual," Annabeth facepalmed, ever so eloquently, "well, uh, after we went to sleep, she uh, she kicked a lot… she kicked ME a lot. Like, A LOT, a lot. In all the wrong places too. I just had a nightmare that, she, uh, that she broke them."

Sally cringed, still taking in what had been said. But 'as usual', Annabeth beat her to the punch.

"I MOST CERTAINLY DID NOT DO ANY OF THAT! IT WAS ALL PERCY'S IDEA! IT WAS HIS IDEA THE WE SLEEP TOGETHER IN HIS ROOM!"

"As usual?" Asked Sally, in a dangerous voice.

"Uh, well, uh…" Annabeth stammered. (A/N; Well, first time for everything…)

"You are both GROUNDED for the next whole WEEK!" Sally nearly screamed.

"Sally, please reconsider, I'm sorry…" Pleaded Annabeth.

Sally put on her thoughtful face.

"Well, Percy's grounded, Annabeth, I'm calling your parents and informing them of your less than acceptable behavior, and THEN grounding you for a week."

Sally then further taunted Annabeth, "Though your parents may extend your punishment, based on how they take to the news." She said, before walking out of the room, smirking.

Annabeth, with a glare aimed at Percy, ran after Sally, to discourage her from doing what she threatened to do.

"But, but, my balls!?"

Fin.
