Chapter 1: Missing Page
(Unknown void)
A dark being with short white hair, pale looking skin, and wearing a red cape was floating in this empty void, curled up into a ball. His eyes were closed, but it was obvious he was still very conscious.
Ghirahim- Master Demise…
(Ghirahim's flashback)
Ghirahim was in Hyrule Castletown and was staring down what appeared to be a Hylian swordsman wearing the pelt of a gray wolf.
Ghirahim- Well, well, well. You must be the monkey Hylia has chosen to wield that silly little toy of hers.
Wolf- Monkey? You need to get your eyes checked. I ain't no monkey. I'm a wolf! (HOWL)
(End of the flashback and back to the unknown void)
The memory of Wolf made Ghirahim tighten his grip and clench his teeth.
Ghirahim- That damn…Wolf of Hyrule…
(Another of Ghirahim's flashbacks)
Ghirahim was at Demise's tower and was facing off against that swordsman in the wolf's pelt, a man who looked like Cat Mario, a genie who looked like Shantae, and a monkey who looked like Diddy Kong. Cat Marco managed to knock Ghirahim to the edge of the platform that looked like it was created from Ghirahim's magic just as Azra created a portal underneath it.
Azra- Wolf, strike now!
Wolf (slightly muffled with Marco's sword in his mouth)- Got it!
Wolf rushed for Ghirahim with eight daggers held in the webbings of his hands and Marco Mario's sword held sideways between his teeth. With that sudden strike, Ghirahim was knocked off the edge and into the strange portal below.
(End of the flashback and back to the empty void)
Ghirahim- It's all that nasty Wolf's fault! I failed my master more than once and got imprisoned between dimensions! Trapped…like a fly in a spider's web…
Ghirahim opened his eyes and there was a bright red glow from them for a brief moment.
Ghirahim- Mark my words, you nasty Wolf! I will get out of here and take my revenge for being separated from my master, Demise! Just…you…wait…
(The Lord of the Universe's Crystal Monastery)
Link, Aryll, and Kyrin were standing in the Lord of the Universe's library and looking at a large hole in the wall. The Lord of the Universe was standing behind them, but he seemed to be covering his face in embracement by cover his face with his palm.
Link- And Ganondorf somehow managed to break into the Crystal Monastery a second time?
Lord of the Universe- Unfortunately so…unbelievable…
Aryll- At least he didn't impersonate Zelda and put the blame on to her again.
Link- Don't remind me about that, Aryll.
Kyrin- Ganondorf focused more on drawing as little attention to himself as possible during this break in.
Link- He didn't steal the Harp of the Gods again, did he?
Lord of the Universe- Of course not. After the last time it was stolen, I hid it in my quarters. If he wanted to try and steal it again, he would've had to face me directly.
Kyrin- And as much as Ganondorf likes to act and talk like the big man in charge, even he's not stupid enough of try and take on my father.
Aryll- What did Ganondorf take then?
Kyrin- He swiped a page from one of the spell books in the library. However, we don't know which spell he took.
Aryll- You called us here and you don't know what spell Ganondorf stole?
Lord of the Universe- There are countless ancient spells and magical secrets kept in this library since the beginning of time. Sorting through it all will take some time. But clearly, Ganondorf knew what he was after if he was willing to break into the Crystal Monastery a second time.
Link- That's a good point there.
Kyrin- And you've dealt with Ganondorf more than anyone, so I figured you're the best man for job of finding out what Ganondorf is up to.
Link- Sure thing! If Ganondorf has plans for that page he stole, it usually means trouble for Hyrule.
Then Aryll found a strand of red hair on the floor near where the hole in the wall was and picked it up.
Aryll- Look at this. One piece from Ganondorf's red hair. I think I can use this to pinpoint where our pale faced wizard ran off to.
Aryll used her magic to cast a tracker spell.
Aryll- The Australian boarders…?
Link- Did Ganondorf flee to Buramudgee?
Aryll- No, he's not there or in Cassopolis, but he's definitely in Australian territory.
Link- Guess I know what our next move is. Kyrin, can you drop up off at Ty's place. I know Aryll said he's not in Buramudgee, but it might be a good idea to get assistance from the closest member of the Super Mario Brothers' Team just in case.
Kyrin- Sure. That I can do. In the meantime, father and I will go through the library and see if we can determine what was on that page he stole.
