Hey! So this is basically a briefing on my Red Vs Blue AU thing. Pretty much just how things are in this new little world. How things have changed, and that's it!
So in this alternate world, C.T. is able to keep Carolina and Tex from attacking her and the insurrectionist leader, delivering the drive with a whole lot of info to Tex. As a result she and insurrectionist leaders are only temporarily imprisoned aboard the mother of invention.
Following the disaster of Epsilon's implantation, Tex decides to examine the drive she was given, also sharing the information with the other freelancers. Upon learning the truth the entire freelancer program mutinies against the director. However, they never predict the defection of Agent Maine. Maine becomes the Meta and betrays everyone, taking all the AI fragments in a bid to become human. To top it off he tries to capture and contain Tex and the Alpha. In the fighting they damage the core to the ship, and bring it crashing down into Sidewinder. Tex & Alpha however ejected out of the ship in an escape pod previously. The crash damages Alphas container however, and so defeated, Tex leaves the wreckage behind.
However this is not the end. The Freelancers are able to arrest the Director & Aiden Price. But an organization known as Charon comes to try and bite up the scraps. So in response the joined together freelancers (including Idaho, Iowa, Ohio, and those ex-charon soldiers who found the crash) create a new organization known as Project Recovery. With their base of operations on the small planet of Chorus, their main goal is to stop the Meta, retrieve old freelancer tech, oppose Charon Industries, and locate Tex & the Alpha.
But what of the Alpha? Well after unfortunate sim trooper Jimmy trips and conks his head directly into a circuit board with Alpha in it. The Church we know and love is born. Realizing this, Tex acts independently and commits herself to protecting Church, while also being evasive a because, Tex.
So now what? We've got two runaway freelancers, a mega-corrupt corporation, a planet being held together by some ragtag freelancers, and a confused AI program. So I guess we just have to trust those reds and blues to do the right thing huh? Well this'll be interesting.
