"Put me down!" Little Lu said as she tried to get her brother hung her but her feet.

"Put her down Mason." Their father said.

"But-

"Put her down." their father said. Mason dropped her on the floor.

"Meanie!" Lu said slapping Mason in the face.

"OW! DAD!" shouted. their father looked to his wife.

"Oh come on now kids, let's go outside and give your father a break." she said leading them outside. form the corner of masons eye he could see his father pick his phone up. he saw his father worried about something.

"im going to get something, behave you two." their mother said as she left. Mason turned just to see his sister try and climb a tree.

"your gonna get hurt." mason said trying to to act worried.

"i can do it!" Lu said as she reached for a branch. Mason saw the branch she was on was gonna break.

"LU! THE BRANCH!" Mason cried. he ran and caught his sister just in time. she cried from the fright. he held her tight.

"its okay..i got you. your safe." Mason said smiling.

"im never climbing a tree again." Lu said quivering. Mason pulled her up.

"dont give up, one day when your taller, you can climb the tree." He said and showed her by climbing up himself. his sister frowned.

"how long must i wait?" She asked.

"When your ready." he said smiling.

Suddenly a army came and was approching there house. Mason jumped down and pulled his sister into his arms. he went inside.

"dad! a army! its comeing for us!" mason cried. their father didnt hesitate.

"go out the back door and dont stop running till you get to ninjago city. then look for the building with 188 on it." His father said throwingit some of there clothes into a bag.

"What about you!" Mason cried. his father turned to them. he handed Lu her bear and then turned to Mason.

"protect her, she may be your stubborn sister, but promise me you will love her and protect her." He said sturnly. Mason relised why his father was saying this. he thinks he wont make it.

"Go Mason!" His father said. the army was there. Mason picked his sister up. he ran until his legs could run no more.
