The Wednesday following their first meeting, Klaas arrived at Doc and Vinny's training school, dressed in a white t-shirt along with a gray sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and white basketball shoes. He knocked on the door, and Vinny proceeded to open it, being dressed in a black t-shirt along with black jogging shorts, white sports socks and black tennis shoes, as well as having a white towel wrapped around his neck.

"Ah, Klaas! Glad you could make it, dude!" Vinny told Klaas with a smile.

"Same here. Looking forward to our first training." Klaas replied with an equal smile.

"Alright. Dad's inside, come on in." Vinny replied as he let Klaas inside and closed the door behind them before the two of them went towards the boxing ring together, where Doc was waiting for them.

Doc was dressed in his iconic outfit of a red track jacket with a white stripe going down the sleeves, blue sweatpants and white trainers. He gave Klaas a smile as he entered the room together with Vinny.

"Glad you could make it, son. You ready for this first training?" Doc asked Klaas.

"As ready as I'll ever be, Doc." Klaas replied with an eager smile.

"Alright, cool. Now, every journey starts somewhere. Since you're new to the WVBA, you're gonna have to start in the Minor Circuit. Now, me and Vinny are gonna get you in shape for the Minor Circuit. Ain't that right, Vinny?" Doc told Klaas before looking over to his son, Vinny.

Vinny gave his dad a nod. "That's right, dad. We'll show Klaas the ropes, both literally and figuratively." He replied as he laughed at his bad joke.

"Alright, now let's get you ready for the first Circuit." Doc said with a determined look on his face as he took a bite from a chocolate bar. The scene then changed to Klaas jump roping, with Doc and Vinny watching.

"Quick feet, Klaas! Quick feet!" Doc told Klaas.

"I know you can do better than that, Klaas!" Vinny added as Klaas began jump roping faster. The scene then cut to Klaas lifting a pair of heavy dumbbells as Doc and Vinny once again watched.

"Work 'em, Klaas! Work 'em!" Doc told Klaas.

"No pain, no gain, as I always say!" Vinny added as he took a sip from a strawberry smoothie he was holding in his left hand.

The scene then cut to Doc riding his iconic bicycle with Vinny riding a bicycle of his own. Klaas was running behind them as the three of them went through the streets of New York City at sunrise.

"Keep it up, Klaas! Keep it up!" Doc told Klaas as he kept riding his bicycle.

"Push yourself to the limit, dude!" Vinny added as Klaas began running harder.

The scene later cut back to Doc and Vinny's training school. Klaas was now in the boxing ring together with Vinny. Klaas was wearing a pair of white boxing trunks and red boots with white laces, along with red boxing gloves while Vinny was wearing a pair of black boxing trunks and white Velcro shoes with white boxing gloves.

"Alright, Klaas. You've gotten basic training down. Now it's time for you to actually start punching people. Now, I want you to test your punches on Vinny. I taught Vinny everything I know about boxing so he can pass it down to other aspiring boxers such as yourself." Doc told Klaas as him and Vinny got ready.

"That's right. Now, as my dad said before: Every journey starts somewhere. So we're going to get you your first experience in the ring together. This is just a warming up, so it's not going to be anything special just yet." Vinny told Klaas.

"I understand. Let's get on with it." Klaas smiled.

"Alright, here goes! Ding ding!" Doc imitated a boxing bell.

Klaas then proceeded to throw some punches at Vinny's face, with Vinny grunting as Klaas landed the punches. "Those are some passionate punches, Klaas. I like it." Vinny remarked.

"Keep your head down!" Vinny instructed Klaas as he threw a punch at him, with Klaas ducking below Vinny's punch. Vinny smiled and nodded at that. "Alright, good." He remarked before Klaas began to pummel him with some more punches.

"I'm getting the hang of this." Klaas laughed, having fun with this warming up with Vinny.

"I can tell, dude." Vinny smiled and nodded. "Dodge!" He then instructed Klaas as he threw a punch at him. Klaas then moved out of the way as Vinny instructed him to do.

"Well done." Vinny nodded.

"You're a quick learner, son." Doc nodded as he watched the warming up from the ringside.

"Thanks, Doc. I do try." Klaas remarked before throwing another barrage of punches at Vinny, knocking him out.

Vinny grunted. "You got me..." He told Klaas before being knocked back into the ropes.

"Knockout!" Doc exclaimed. Klaas quickly rushed over to Vinny to help him up again.

"You're doing great so far, Klaas. You ready for your next lesson?" Vinny asked Klaas.

"Uh-huh." Klaas nodded. About 5 minutes later, Vinny and Klaas were ready to start their training match.

"If there's one thing dad taught me from all those boxing lessons he gave me, it's that you get the sweet taste of victory in the boxing ring from training, so after that little warming up match we just did, we're gonna do a little training match next." Vinny told Klaas.

"You heard him, son. Give it all you got." Doc told Klaas.

"I will." Klaas nodded.

"Alright, here we go." Vinny remarked. "Block!" He instructed Klaas before throwing a punch at him, which Klaas proceeded to block as instructed. "Nice one." Vinny smiled and nodded. Klaas then proceeded to throw a barrage of punches at Vinny.

"Ow, that smarts!" Vinny remarked. "Quick feet, Klaas!" He then told Klaas, instructing him to dodge, and as Vinny threw another punch at Klaas, Klaas dodged as instructed.

"Those jump rope training sessions really work its magic." Klaas remarked.

"They sure do, son. Stay sharp." Doc replied as Klaas focused his attention back on Vinny. Klaas then proceeded to throw another barrage of punches at him.

"Those are some heartfelt punches. You got the fighting spirit." Vinny remarked. "Duck!" He told Klaas as he threw a punch at him, after which Klaas proceeded to duck as instructed. Klaas then proceeded to throw another barrage of punches, and Vinny was low on health.

"This is gonna be berry delicious!" Klaas chuckled as he took a swig of his strawberry smoothie, which proceeded to replenish his health.

"That swig of Vinny's strawberry smoothie replenished his health and stamina. You're gonna have to deplete that stamina again if you wanna knock him down, son." Doc told Klaas from the ringside.

"Got it." Klaas nodded as he threw another barrage of punches at Vinny.

"Ouch, Klaas!" Vinny remarked. "Dodge!" He then told Klaas as he threw another punch at him, which Klaas proceeded to dodge as instructed. Klaas then threw another barrage of punches at Vinny.

"You're getting the hang of this!" Doc said with pride.

"I really am!" Klaas laughed excitedly.

"Block!" Vinny instructed Klaas as he threw a punch at him, which Klaas proceeded to block, and Klaas then threw another barrage of punches at Vinny, knocking him out.

"Ugh...That was a good session..." Vinny groaned as he was once again knocked back into the ropes.

"Knockout!" Doc exclaimed. Klaas then rushed over to Vinny to help him up again.

"You're getting there, Klaas. You ready for your final lesson?" Vinny asked Klaas.

"Uh-huh." Klaas nodded again. Another 5 minutes later, Vinny and Klaas were ready to have a friendly spar.

"This final lesson is going to be a friendly spar against me, where I'll be teaching you a trick or two to use in the ring." Vinny told Klaas.

"Alright, let's go for it then." Klaas nodded.

"This lesson, Vinny's gonna be teaching you one of the strongest moves I used back in the day, when I was in the ring: The Star Punch. Pay close attention to what Vinny teaches about the Star Punch, son. It's gonna come in handy in the ring." Doc told Klaas from the ringside.

"I got it, Doc." Klaas nodded again.

"Alright, here we go!" Vinny exclaimed. "Duck!" He told Klaas as he threw a punch at him, which he proceeded to duck under. "Alright, nice." Vinny remarked before Klaas threw a barrage of punches at him, gaining a Star to use for a Star Punch.

"You got a Star! Now use the Star Punch, son!" Doc told Klaas from the ringside.

"Okay, here I go!" Klaas exclaimed as he threw a Star Punch at Vinny.

"Gah!" Vinny exclaimed. "This is gonna be berry tasty!" He chuckled as he pulled out a strawberry smoothie, but just as he was about to drink from it, Klaas punched it out of his hands. "Noooo!" Vinny exclaimed in horror before angrily looking to Klaas. "Now you've done it! You won't like Vinny when he's angry!" He told Klaas before throwing a barrage of punches at the Dutch boxer.

"Now you've made Vinny mad, Klaas. He's gonna stay like that until either you knock him down, he knocks you down, or you both stay on your feet long enough for Vinny to calm down. Be careful, son." Doc instructed Klaas.

"Thanks for the warning, Doc." Klaas nodded as he proceeded to throw a barrage of punches at Vinny.

"Argh!" Vinny exclaimed as he threw an uppercut at Klaas, which Klaas proceeded to dodge, and he then threw another barrage of punches at Vinny. "That hurts, dude!" Vinny told Klaas before throwing a left hook at him. Klaas ducked beneath the left hook and then threw another barrage of punches at Vinny, gaining another Star for a Star Punch.

"Alright, you got another star, Klaas! Use that for a Star Punch to take Vinny out!" Doc instructed Klaas.

"Got it, Doc!" Klaas replied before throwing a Star Punch at Vinny, knocking him out one final time.

"Hurgh! Congratulations, Klaas..." Vinny wheezed before being knocked into the ropes one final time.

"Knockout!" Doc exclaimed one final time.

Doc then proceeded to step into the ring as he helped Vinny up. "Alright, you did good today, Klaas. Let's continue this training again same time next week, alright?" He suggested to Klaas.

"Yeah, we'll keep training 'til you're ready. You'll get those Minor Circuit boxers soon." Vinny replied with a smile.

"Alright, I can't wait." Klaas replied with an eager smile.
