And life went on. But what the police don't want to admit, what the governor doesn't want you to know: crime rates have sky-rocketed and new villains are popping up all over New York. While other heroes and vigilantes have continued to fight, street crime is at an all time high. Some New Yorkers are speaking out, and as more and more people come forward to share how Spider-man saved their lives, public opinion is starting to favor this former hero. And now, people are starting to wonder… What happened that led this man, who never asked for anything in return for saving so many lives, to give it all up? Where is he now?
