Authors Note: Hope you guys and gals enjoy this next chapter of the story, I'll keep writing if you keep coming back and reading. Also, I have been thinking of adding an anime style opening and ending to the fanfic so if you want to see any songs to the story, please suggest some in a review. Chapter 2: Simple Introductions

Location: Staff of Charon (Earth 6892)

We see a room full of soldiers known as the Reds and the Blues aiming their weaponry at a door being cut down by space pirates sent by Hargrove. More importantly Epsilon as he begins to fragment himself but not before creating one final message to the Reds and Blues saying goodbye.

"They'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith." Epsilon says just as he about to fragment but then suddenly, a strange portal begins to show up on the ceiling of the room. Time then reverts to normal as the door is blasted down and the space pirates flood the room. But the Reds and Blues are then sucked into the portal as their yells are silenced as the portal begins to start sucking everything in the room including the pirates.

POV change: Outside the Staff of Charon

Agent Washington and Agent Carolina are flying in a pelican along with Kimball and the rest of the soldiers before the staff of Charon begins to start destroying itself from the inside as the portal grows larger and larger.

"Church, what the hell is going on?! Church, Church are you there?!" Wash shouts into his radio as the pelican flies closer to the ship before suddenly getting sucked closer to the portal. "Wash, what's going on?" Carolina asks walking into the cockpit of the ship. "I don't know, I can't get contact to anyone and Charon's ship is getting teared apart by that thing." He answers pointing to the portal in the sky. "Commander Washington, we're getting pulled in! I can't steer us out." The pilot shouts as she pulls the throttle up trying to stop the ship from getting pulled in. Carolina then runs up to the pilot's seat and tries to help the pilot move the ship from the pull of the portal but no matter what they do, the pelican is pulled in. Carolina then turns around towards the interior of the pelican and yells, "Everyone hang on Now!!"

Music Que: Into the Spider-Verse (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Original Score)

Once the pelican is pulled into the portal, it begins to shake and stutter as it enters a multicolored tunnel. Images and things flash into everyone's heads as the pelican powers off as everyone tries to hang on and keep everything together, then finally the pelican is thrust out of the tunnel.

Music End

Wash then opens his eyes after keeping them closed for the duration of the experience as he looks forward through the window of the ship seeing a large emerald forest with an abandoned temple before suddenly feeling the pelican begin to plummet down into a canyon. "Oh shit, oh shit, c'mon Carolina wake up NOW!" Wash yells causing Carolina to wake up as her eyes rocket open and she presses the start button on her console turning on the ship. She then manages to pull evasive maneuvers and fly up into the sky. As she manages to stabilize the plane, she searches for a landing zone. Wash, currently catching his breath after nearly thinking he was going to die, stumbles out of his seat as the ship lands. "That was the closest feeling to death I have ever felt." Wash says as he stands up and walks alongside Carolina and everyone else outside of the ship.

Wash looks to his left and right seeing nothing but trees and grass. He then looks towards a tree and notices a camera staring directly at him. Just as Wash is about to shoot the camera with his battle rifle, Carolina beats him to it by shooting it with her Magnum.

"Okay, so we're in the middle of nowhere being watched by someone or something. Great." Carolina says sarcastically before turning to Palomo. "Lieutenant Palomo, what's our sitrep?" Carolina asks.

"Well Captain Carolina, we're good for the most part. No injured or dead here. However, we have no idea where Captain Tucker and the others are. They could be anywhe- "Palomo is then interrupted by Jensen. "Actually we may have a solution to finding the others. If I may?" She asks Carolina who nods. Jensen then walks back into the ship before coming back with a toolkit and a tablet.

"Since Captain Tucker still has the cameras from when we were training, we could use this tablet to activate theirs and figure out where they are." She then begins to tap into their camera feeds and activate them showing each Red and Blue's point of view.

"Good work lieutenant, let's fire up the ship and find them." Wash says as he and the others turn to the ship about to walk in. Suddenly they hear a growl causing everyone to turn around. In front of them stands four Ursa which growl at the soldiers. One of them then lunges at the pilot before biting down on her neck causing her to scream in pain, soon another Ursa chomps on the arm of the pilot. Carolina and Wash pull their battle rifles out and start firing on the creatures as the others do the same to the rest of the Ursa. While the Grimm are dangerous, they get stomped by the weaponry of the New Republic and The Federal Army of Chorus as the Grimm get riddled with bullets and plasma shots causing them to evaporate away. As the soldiers begin to pant, Dr. Grey tries to help the pilot from losing blood, but it doesn't work as the pilot succumbs to her wounds.

Everyone is quiet for a bit before Kimball speaks up as she walks towards the body, "A fine soldier, she risked her life in the line of duty." She says as she picks up the body of the pilot and lays it down in a seat in the pelican. "We'll find a way to bury her back on Chorus and preserve her armor. For the time being, we need to find the Reds and Blues before any of those creatures find them." She finishes with a determined look at the freelancers who nod in response. Everyone then heads into the pelican as Jensen sits in the co-pilot seat and Carolina pilots the ship. The pelican pivots and then off towards the location of the Reds and Blues, all the while being observed by a camera on another tree which watched the whole situation going down.

POV change: Peter Parker

Peter begins to wake up and opens his eyes being greeted with the blue sky and the sun shining down on him. He groggily then sits up as he feels the A.I. chip in his left hand and looks to his right seeing the watch from the tunnel he was in on his wrist. Peter then stands upright and yelps in fear. "W-what in the-? I thought it was a dream, I mean there's no way everything I saw when I went into the portal was real right?!" He says panicky before taking a deep breath.

"Ok Peter, calm down. Let's just thing about what happened. I was sent by Fury to stop the Sinister Six from doing whatever they were doing with Iso-8, I tried to fight them, Electro blasted the controls, Norman taunted me and then I got sent here. But then when I was being sent here, I saw all those memories like soldiers, destroyed cities and then that last fight. So, what does this watch do and why did it connect to me?"

"Y'know, for a kid you ask a lot of questions." A voice says scaring Peter to death. Peter then looks around nervously afraid of the voice he heard.

W-where did that voice come from?! Who are you and what do you want?!" Peter asks before hearing a sigh and then a reply from the voice. "Look into your damn left hand." The voice says causing Peter to realize what is going on.

"So, a tech chip is talking to me." "No, I'm not just some tech chip or a piece of random data, I'm an A.I."

"Ok, so you're like Ultron. Give me a reason I shouldn't chuck you into a tree." Peter threatens causing the A.I. to chuckle. "Ok Mr. Parker, why don't I just take control of your suit and reveal your identity to the whole world, huh, would you like that?" Peter then gets nervous again due to the A.I. before sighing and giving in, "Alright fine, I won't throw you. What do you need me to do, my robot overlord?" He says adding those last 3 word in his head.

"Well for starters, you could plug me into that watch you're talking about. Maybe I could take a crack at it." "Oh really, and I'm supposed to trust the random A.I. I found. I don't know anything about you." "Well, if you insert me into the watch you have, then maybe we can get off on the right foot, is that an ok answer?" The A.I. says adding a bit of sarcasm at the end.

Peter then looks at the A.I. before rotating his wrist noticing a part on the left side of the watch titled, A.I. slot. Peter then gently inserts the chip into the slot before watching the slot close and the watch light up white and cobalt. He waits a few seconds before seeing a White soldiered A.I appear on the watch. Peter then turns his head at the A.I. as his HUD in his mask begins to integrate the A.I. into his system and add enhancements to it. He also looks at the watch as it continually lit up in red and blue colors.

"Well this watch that you somehow found is really advanced. Hell it's more advanced than anything from my world." The A.I. says surprising Peter.

"OK so if it's not from your world and it's definitely not from mine, then where does it come from?"

"I guess we'll find out, also the names Church. If we're gonna be working together, we might as well get to know each other." Church says.

Peter looks at Church before nodding and then sees two people show up on the newly integrated motion tracker added to his suits HUD.

Peter then looks to his right where the dots on his tracker keep appearing getting closer and closer as the bushes near him begins to shake. However, what appears out of the bushes is something he never expected.

Out of the bushes reveal two girls running towards him panting, one girl is pink skinned with horns on her head and short unruly pink hair wearing a plain white mask and a turquoise skintight bodysuit with a pattern design. The other girl is a girl with a frog like mouth and dark-sea green hair tied together in a large bow wearing a bright green turtleneck bodysuit with tan-colored gloves.

The two girls start catching their breath before looking forward and staring right at Peter who looks at them in confusion. Peter decides to break the silence with the only way he knows how.

"So, if you guys want, we could play a game to get to know each other."

Authors Note: I really enjoyed writing this chapter, I think I finally found my footing and where I want to take this series. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and maybe I might update the story tomorrow since I have a lot of time on my hands.
