First, I would like to thanks all of you for the feedback in the first chapter, you guys are awesome I would like to thanks specially Hero_DarkyDark. He is one amazing writer and I am glad he took the time to give me some advice. I had some problems with the first chapter since English is not my native language, but I already edited that chapter so now it should be ok. the first chapter seemed to be a little too rushed, but as I said this is my first work so I am still learning, but thanks to those that sent advice. I also would like to make two things clear 1st is that Ua is a university, so they will be 18+ when they start there and 2nd is that I won't for example make izuku read the bible and start heal people like Jesus. I will explain with more details as the story progress. Thanks again for reading and enjoy the new chapter.
"Hahaha! Come on son! You can do better than this" It was two weeks since Izuku started training, Hisashi was laughing while Izuku got frustrated because another arrow he shoots didn't reach the target, the little bow in his hand was created by his father, he wanted Izuku to start training with multiple weapons so he could be prepared when he could make his owns. Sure he could just tell his son about a certain legend that could make him able to use with mastery anything that he recognizes as a weapon, but he shouldn't always count with something like this. Some legends are indeed powerful, but they have a price for that power."Your mother said that she will make katsudon for you." At the mention of his favorite food Izuku grabbed another arrow and shoot again, he did manage to shoot a little further but it wasn't even close to the target."I can't wait to start sparring with you, i will show you some tricks i learned with the years" The smile on his face made clear that he was loving this.
The kid was still trying to memorize The Counter Guardians legend and was able to remember half of the legend, he was always reading the book with the same bright smile on his face as he was in the first time. Thanks to his quirk he had a better memory than a 4 years old should, he would be able to use his first legend in months thanks to his father's help. Hisashi knew that he should focus on the key points instead of the legend as a whole, that was the secret to memorize anything because one point would help remember the other and that would make it a lot easier.
"Careful Hisashi! If you take an arrow in the knee you will have to stop being a hero and will have to work as security in some mall" Mitsuki couldn't resist the joke, They made that joke in class every time Hisashi tried to shoot someone in the legs. She misses their old friends, but many became heroes so it was hard to keep in contact with everyone, but she was still able to meet with some of them. Inko and Hisashi were there with her for the best and the worst, but she wouldn't admit that to him that, she wouldn't hear the end of it.
"Mitsuki! That joke is older than us." Her husband was laughing at her side while he helped Katsumi in her training, her daughter decided to train even more now that her friend had a quirk with great potential."Now Katsumi you make a circle with one hand and put on the other like this"His daughter did as he said and then looked at him waiting for the next step." now shoot" It was weak, and it went no further than a span, but it was progressing."Good, now try again" He then placed an empty beer can a little away from her, she nodded and started training until she could hit the can.
"Dear, can you come here for a minute?" Inko called from the living room, he then just go inside and see her face he knew something serious was happening. "I got a call from him, he was coming here to talk with you and that he will bring some people with him."She didn't need to say, her eyes told him that she was worried about their son, he then grabs her hand to show that he was here for them.
"Don't worry they aren't coming here because of Izuku, i told him that we need to talk about something i saw with Solomon clairvoyance." He knew that they needed to talk, the vision that he had was something he must tell them, or the world will be in danger." W-what? When did you use it? " Inko knew that this noble phantasm was extremely powerful, being able to see anything in the past or future, but the period needed to recharge was what made the right moment to use the most important thing."The night we discovered his quirk, i waited for both to sleep and used to see the future, i know i should have told you but i was still trying to figure out what to do."He then smiles at his wife and gives her a little kiss, he loves his wife and son and he knows she will always worry about everything so it was better to tell her things while already comforting her."I will tell you later, i guess for now it would be better if you took Izuku to Takoba Beach" He said while smiling at his wife"I know Izuku and Katsumi would love to meet their hero but i need time to talk with him."
"Yeah, i know they wouldn't let you talk with him without trying to get autographs and photos" She knew that the kids loved Heroes, but this must be something serious if her husband had to use that power."But why Takoba Beach? That place is a junkyard."
"Because i want Izuku to meet someone there, two old friends are there with their kid. I know Mitsuki will love to meet him again" The grin on his face made Inko nervous, who would be there that would-"Oh no! Wasn't he on the I-island?"
"He moved to just a few blocks away from us, i meet him yesterday when i was going to lunch, he will explain to you everything there, he said that he is always in that beach searching for parts to use."
"Okay then, i will go call everyone and we will go now, i can already see Mitsuki's face when she sees him" Both laughed and Inko called everyone to go to the Beach, she told Masaru and Mitsuki who was coming without the kids hearing. Of course, Izuku and Katsumi wanted to keep training, but she said that this was going to be part of their training, then they finally got in the car and went, she was trying her best to hold the smile every time she looked at Mitsuki, the blonde didn't understand why she was smiling so much, probably because of her husband, but Inko was thinking about her reaction when she sees who they will meet 'This will be interesting.'
When they finally reached the beach Mitsuki's jaw dropped and she finally understood why Inko wouldn't stop smiling, that pink-haired crazy bastard that she hasn't seen in years is loading a truck with many things that he got from the beach."Hello James, long time no see"Inko's smile was even wider when she saw Mitsuki's face, this was better than expected."Inko? My god, i haven't seen you in years. Hisashi was right, you got prettier with the age." James had defined muscles and pink hair that went above his shoulders his eyes were yellow but the pupil was red because of his night vision quirk, he was wearing black cargo pants and a blue t-shirt with black gear in the center" He then runs to hug his friend, they have known each other since the first year at UA, when she went to the support department to see Mitsuki, speaking of which he noticed the other people with her."Masaru? Man, you look great, i see you decided to follow our advice and went to the gym." He then shakes the hand of his friend"Is good to see you again James, I see you haven't changed, still making those amazing equipment of yours."
James just smiles and then looks at Mitsuki, his smile vanished almost instantly."Hey, it's the witch!"Mitsuki then just look at him with the same straight face" Hey look, is the gorilla" They went silent for a few seconds. Then both started to laugh, this was the kind of friendship they have, since both were rivals in the support department, always trying to see who could make the best equipment for Inko and Hisashi. He then looks at the two kids that were with them." And i guess those are Izuku and Katsumi? Nice to meet you, i am James Hatsume" he then offers his hand to the kids.
"Nice to meet you, sir, I am Izuku Midoriya" the boy shook his hand"Good grip, I can see you got it from your father."Katsumi then comes and shakes his hand too"I am Katsumi Bakugo, nice to meet you old man" The adults laughed at that. "Okay, that I know she got from you Mitsuki."
"What are you doing here anyway James? I know you can buy any material you need for your work, why get things here?"Sure people that made equipment for heroes had a steady life since heroes changed their costumes with the years, new heroes appear every day too.
"This it's not for my work, my daughter started to show interest in machines, so my wife and I came here to get things to her so she doesn't make the tv explode again." As if on cue, his wife, she was taller than him, with her short red hair that was in a pixie-cut and had some muscles that were being shown proudly to the word with her sleeveless shirt and Blue cargo pants, she had a good body that made her fit perfectly in the term amazon, but the most notable feature is her red eyes that looked like a hawk, her quirk allowed her to have perfect aim. She was coming with some objects she collected on the beach in two boxes on each arm, besides her was a small girl with salmon pink hair, which is shoulder-length and is styled into thick dreadlocks and side-swept to her right, she was struggling to pull a little cart with many objects that she collected."Need help?" she looked at who was talking and saw the green eyes of Izuku, he was smiling to her while he offered his hand."This looks heavy."
He then looked at her face and saw that her eyes are wide and sloped upwards with some notably long upper eyelashes, their irises yellow with a cross in the center, making them look somewhat like scope lenses. she was covered in dirt and sweat. even her tracksuit was covered in grease and oil."Sure, we can put everything in the truck and go back to get more."The smile on her face was bright and Izuku blushed a little."Name is Mei Hatsume, and you green?"The parents couldn't help but find the scene cute."I am Izuku Midoriya" They shake their hands and when they turn around everyone was grinning at them, Izuku got a little embarrassed by that"W-what?"Katsumi then goes behind the cart to help move."Hurry Icchan, since we are here to train, we need to hurry. I am Katsumi Bakugo by the way cross eyes" She was here to train, but she was curious about what she would do with all that stuff."O-okay kacchan"
"Well, I can see he got another thing from Hisashi."James was smiling with the memory of Hisashi getting shy every time a girl was close to him, but he always helped no matter what."I guess I don't need to introduce my daughter anymore, you guys remember Samantha right?" His wife then put the boxes and the things her daughter got in the truck and go to his side."You guys are so much bigger now, it has been what? six years?"She then grabbed the three at the same time, she was still bigger than them."Yeah, but you are still bigger Sam, I think that from the old gang only Hisashi is taller than you, even if just a little."Masaru couldn't help but laugh at the huge woman hugging the group.
"Well, he IS the strongest too, I want to have my rematch with him someday. Is like I am fighting the best snipers in the world. Speaking of him, where is he?" Inko then looks at the couple and says with a more serious "He is at home, he has some guests to talk about some things"They understood that she didn't want the kids to hear."Izuku, why don't you go with Katsumi and Mei to search for more things to get? Since you are here to train, maybe you can carry stuff for her? But be careful."Mitsuki wanted them to train, but they also could make a new friend while on it."Yes, aunt, Let's go kacchan, we can explore here, it will be like an adventure. Lead the way Mei" Mei smiles when she sees that she will have 2 more pairs of hands to help her carry bigger things. The kids then go following Mei, since she knew her better than them.
"Did something happened Inko?"Samantha asked with concern for her friend."I don't know yet, but my husband said that he will explain everything when i go back. Our son got Hisashi quirk."Both got tense with that, the kid that was playing with their daughter inherited the father's powers."Did you tell him the truth? About his father's true quirk and what he should expect?"James knew the kid would have a target on his back if villains knew about his quirk.
"We are already training him and i know that his father is already making everything to protect our son." The couple then looks at her and as a mother, Samantha knew that Inko would do everything to protect her child."Well, if you guys need anything, just call us, from what Hisashi told me, we are living 15 minutes on foot from each other" The adults then decided to hold this conversation for when they have more details."Yeah, he said that, how did you manage to leave I-island? I thought they wouldn't let people just leave like that."She was curious since it was almost impossible for the scientists to leave the place.
"When you call a few favors it's easy, sure the island gave amazing support for us and we could see many amazing inventors, but i wanted the emotions i felt when i was a student and could make the most unusual things for the heroes."Mitsuki knew what he meant, the life there was boring when she lived there for a year after graduating UA"Plus Sam wanted to come to the city to shoot some villains since the island was too peaceful to her taste."They laughed at that since they knew she loved a good challenge, the adults then started to catch up for the time apart.
-Meanwhile-
"We can take this, and this, and that, i don't know what this is but i will take anyway" Mei was running and throwing things she thought were interesting or useful to both kids following her."Slow down cross-eyes, the cart is already full, and don't forget that we will need the three of us to move it."They were walking for some time and they already got many things, Izuku was the one pulling the car and it was clear that he was getting tired, Katsumi didn't know what half of that was."What you plan to use this for anyway?"Mei then turned to them with a big smile on her face."I have no idea"
"What? you don't know? are we just collecting trash for you?" Both kids couldn't believe she was making them carry those things and didn't even know what to do with it."I see dad making some amazing equipment for heroes every day and my mom uses some of the things he makes. I want to do that too, my quirk is called Zoom, it makes my vision zoom in on whatever is in my line of sight. If i focus, i can see things as far as 400 meters" To make it clear she focused on Izuku's face and they could see the cross in her eyes spinning focusing on one of his freckles."That is so cool, you could spy a villain from a safe distance, isn't that right Kacchan?" He then smiles and looks at his friend."Yeah, that is cool."She had to admit that being like a spy was cool.
"Maybe, but i want to make equipment for heroes like my father, he may not be in the front line, but his work help saves people, so he is a hero, at least for me."Both understood what she meant, even if they liked All might, they knew that their parents were heroes for them too. "W-Well, if you will start creating cool stuff t-then we want to be there with you then, we can be heroes and you be our support."He then offers his hand to her"What you say Mei?", she looks at both of them 'they want me to make things for them? and they want to be there with me?' She then takes his hand and smiles "You can count on me heroes" then the three new friends decided to go back to their parents and prepare to go home.
And that was chapter 2, The Hatsume family appear, they are old friends from UA and as you can see, they will have a big role in this story too, izuku will meet more people before he enter UA, so expect some funny moments between the kids. I read many fics and I did notice that people usually ignore Hisashi, so I decided to make this fic and give him a important role here, The next chapter will focus on him and his guests.
