The Annihilation of Earth

A new Rookie at the 15th who was born on Earth but who's lineage is on another planet in the galaxy is tasked with saving not only Earth but also Helios and the surrounding planets in the galaxy. 2. The Odyssey

The Odyssey:

Traversing Galaxies:

In the week since the Warning was given, Phoenix had risen to the challenge and surpassed it. She'd given the rebels a job to find any and all from the surrounding galaxy to help in the fight and then she told them to go beyond the galaxy if they could. They did just that. They headed out into the Milky Way and let the other planets know what Helios was planning and to join sides if they dared wish. It wasn't that hard to choose sides. Helios had always been demanding and yet wouldn't let the people be free to do what they wished on their own. They chose to fight with Phoenix and they began building ships to journey to Earth and prepare to stand next to her. If they didn't have the material to build ships, they got with planets that did have the material to build war ships and pooled their resources.

The Helion Rebels went back to Helios only briefly to procure more ships and more Rebels. Within the Helion Army, thousands of Rebels lay in wait for the invasion of Earth. It was the only way they were going to be able to get to Earth and the Rebels knew it. The Helion Army was not as vast as the military of Earth and if Phoenix could get them to stop fighting each other then the people of Earth could survive the invasion. After stopping at Helios, they continued on their journey, having acquired a war ship that could travel in hyperspace. They headed for the Pegasus to recruit any and all persons willing to stand and fight.

They found the Atlantis Base and after much talking convinced them to join the fight. With the help of the Atlantis team members, they were able to get ahold of the Travelers who pledged to help fight for Earth. And then the Helion Rebels, without the help of Atlantis, got in touch with the wraith. The wraith met at Atlantis and after much compromises, agreed to help fight for Earth. Because according to the Rebels, if Earth was conquered, there was no stopping the Helion Regime from expanding to the Pegasus galaxy and killing all in their wake.

According to the Helion Rebels, who didn't really have names, the Helion Regime was hell-bent on destroying any and all planets that was more technologically and scientifically advanced then they were. The Rebels had been growing in numbers for a little under 1000 years and they were almost all within the Helion Army and would defect from the army as soon as the invasion began. That's where the wraith came into play. After promising not to feed on the people of Earth, they were told that they would be positioned in space around the planet. They would be the second wave if the fighters on the ground could not stop what was coming.

And so the Helion Rebels spread out through the galaxy pulling people that wished to fight out of villages and training them in the way of not only the sword but also the weapons that would most likely be used on them. Then they moved out to any and all other galaxies hoping to find some technologically advanced peoples with warships that were capable of fighting an entire planetary Army.

Assembling An Army:

Phoenix was busy with her coworkers planning and training on Earth. After the initial shock of who she was and what she was Prophesized to do, she got to work. Military bases were called and put on high alert. Interpol, NATO, the FBI, CIA, NCIS, and any and all government groups that wanted to help fight were going to help fight. According to Helia, the Rebel that had given the warning to begin with, Helios wanted to wipe Earth out for good. If that happened there would be no place safe and no place to hide.

But the people of Earth were not going to back down. This was their home, their workplace, their lives. They were going to fight no matter how hard they had to do so. Work was forgotten about. With an invasion set to happen within a month, soldiers and any civilians that wanted to fight were taught how to fight. Helia had stayed on Earth with Phoenix to help get all soldiers ready to fight. The 15th Precinct was the first to sign up. They wanted to keep their lives in one piece but knew that that was probably not going to happen.
