Ami was perfectly polite at dinner. But Rook Da didn't seem to like her. The women liked her, especially Rook Bralla.

Bralla kept asking her questions about her and Rook and making the two of them blush.

Ami was kind, and answered all their questions, and was careful not to use contractions.

Young One filled most of the silence, going on and on about her senshi powers.

After dinner, Ami sat down awkwardly with Rook.

"It seems everyone thinks we are a couple." Ami commented.

"Young One has a big mouth." Rook said, embarassed.

"Your father looked angry about it." Ami said. "Would it help if I said Senshi's are not human?"

"You are not human?" Rook was surprised.

"It's...complicated." Ami said. "If I was to say...I'm mostly Mercurian, but also very loyal to the Lunarians. The Moon used to rule the Earth solar system. We watched over Earth and defended it. We were, in a way, the first plumbers."

"I remember studying senshi in the academy." Rook said softly. "One hero from each planet, always female, defending it from attack, at their core, a star seed." He looked dejected. "If my father knew what you were...surely they would understand."

Ami gave him a look.

"No, you're right, he would not." Rook sighed. "Come with me to Earth."

Ami blushed. "You really want me?"

"I..." Rook said softly, leaning close and stealing a kiss. "Please come with me."

"I will."
