Author's Note: hey! sorry these chapters are so short, i first posted this to instagram and obviously those are a lot shorter slides. anyway, hope you like :)
kurt smoothed down his outfit for the one thousandth time. he stared himself down in the full length mirror that was attached to his wall. he had no idea why he was actually nervous, yet his mind was still flooded. his thoughts were interrupted by a knock on his front door. "coming!" he called, as he rushed to the door. behind the door stood quinn and her girlfriend, rachel. "hey kurt!" rachel said, grinning from ear to ear. "ready to head out?" quinn asked him. kurt smoothed down his outfit one final time, "i think so, i just need to grab my phone from in the study." the girls nodded and kurt dashed into his study. he grabbed his phone from the table and studied his outfit in the mirror. there's definitely something missing, he thought as he examined his draw of brooches. kurt settled on a hippo brooch and pinned it to his shirt. much better. he smiled and walked back into the front room, this time with confidence. "let's go," he said, joining them on the other side of the door.
"did you grab the aux cord?" blaine shouted across the room to his friend. "yes blaine! for the last time i got everything from what you threw at me and from in the car. it's all here." santana replied, dropping the last of blaine's equipment down. "how much stuff do you even need? you'd think you're playing for a week not a night." blaine rolled his eyes, "well i need to prepare for all scenarios, you know? like what if someone requests a rock song and i didn't bring my electric guitar?" santana chucked, "okay fine, have it your way hobbit. at least i'll be getting muscles outta this. me gusta." blaine stepped back to take a better look at everything he's just laid out. "what ever you say, san." he clapped his hands. "okay i think we're done setting up, i'm gonna go get changed in the bathroom and you can... uh do whatever you do." he smiled and went into the bathroom , unaware that he was soon gonna have the time of his life...
