Chapter 2: Life of Izuku

A few days had passed, and little Izuku was waiting anxiously for his quirk to appear. To kill his boredom, he decided to play with one of his All Might action figurines. As he reached for it, a small light-like sphere appeared in his hand. The sphere then launched out of the window which was fortunately open. He couldn't believe it. He thought he got his quirk.

He rushed over to the kitchen where Inko was.

"Mommy, I think I got my quirk!" he said.

He showed Inko what he could do with his quirk so far. He was able to shoot aura spheres and also cloak his hands with aura. While he did this, his hair and eyes started to glow. Inko couldn't help but smile at this. Her son finally got his quirk. Later she called her best friend, Rei Todoroki to tell her the news.

Rei also had a few kids. Her youngest son was Shoto Todoroki. The two kids were the best of friends. Izuku admired Shoto because his quirk was a rare one. He could manipulate both fire AND ice. He was also the son of the second pro hero, Endeavor. When he was younger, he used to use just his ice side of his quirk, believing it was his only quirk. However one day when training with his older brother Touya, he discovered he also had his father's quirk of fire. He could control ice with his right side and fire with his left.

Izuku started showing his quirk and what he could do so far. Both Rei and Shoto were amazed at this.

"That's a pretty cool quirk Midoriya," Shoto told the boy.

"Not as cool as yours is Sho-kun," Izuku stated, "I'm kinda jealous that you have that quirk of yours. Your dad will be proud."

Shoto nodded. 2 years had passed, and Izuku and Inko were on their way to a dojo called Gunhead Martial Arts, which was held by Gunhead himself. Izuku looked at all of the dojos that the quirk doctor recommended, and this one caught his interest. Gunhead approached the young boy.

"Welcome to Gunhead Martial Arts, little man," he said, "What can I do for you?"

Izuku started to geek out.

"Whoa! You're Gunhead, the battle hero!" Izuku said, "The pro who specializes in hand to hand combat! Can you sign my hero-book?"

"Certainly," Gunhead chuckled as he signed the book.

Even at a young age, Izuku knew a lot about heroes. Gunhead then noticed Inko.

"Oh hey, it's been a while Inko!" he said, "I haven't seen you since you were a kid. Congrats on your hero career by the way. So what brings you by."

"Well, my son unlocked his quirk, and the quirk doctor said you would be the best choice to help him control it," Inko explained smiling, "Since his quirk seems similar to martial arts."

"Well, I'd be more than happy to help the little guy out," Gunhead told her, "So what's your quirk?"

"It's kinda similar to my mommy, but it's more spiritual based," Izuku said.

"Well, how about you show us what we're dealing with," Gunhead suggested, "Then we can see what kind of martial arts would work here, as there's more than one kind.

He held out his hand. His hair started glowing again, and a gust of strong aura blew from his hand. It knocked down one of Gunhead's mementos. Gunhead was surprised by this and looked back to the young broccoli boy.

"Oops…." he said, "Does this… mean I'm expelled?"

"On the contrary kid, you're enrolled," Gunhead told him, "How can I turn my back on someone with a promising quirk and a bright future."

One day Toshinori walked by the Midoriya residence. Izuku was happy because Toshinori always made playdates a lot of fun.

"Izuku, would you mind waiting down here for about 10 minutes," he said as he winked at Inko.

She was a bit confused but then remembered what they had planned. Izuku nodded and waited on the couch. After about ten minutes, he started heading up, and then he heard a scream.

"Oh help me!" Inko said.

Hearing the screams of his mother, Izuku dashed up the stairs to where the sound was heard. As he opened the door, he saw Inko was tied to a chair trying to escape. Toshinori turned around wearing a funny looking mask. He was doing an evil laugh.

"Mwahahahaha! I have this young woman hostage," he said in an evil voice, "Now that I have her within my grasp, I shall have her become my queen."

"Mommy!" Izuku said.

"Ah ah ah," Toshinori said, still keeping his villain voice tilting Inko in the chair, "You take one more step, and your mother takes a little dip in the bottomless pit of laundry lava."

Toshinori points to a pile of clothes that was made to be a bottomless pit. He got closer to Inko and played with her hair. Inko was trying her hardest not to laugh at Toshinori's silliness.

"He's so serious," she thought to herself.

"Let her go evil Yagi!" Izuku said.

"I am not Yagi, I am The Lizard King," he said, "Mwahahahahaha!"

Izuku knew what he had to do. But first he needed his 'special clothes'.

Izuku ran into his room. While they had an open window, Toshinori and Inko bursted out laughing at how much fun they were having.

"Toshinori you really know how to put the E in evil," she said, "I can't believe he actually bought it."

"HA HA HA! Oh the young man sure is fun to play with!" Toshinori said.

"I agree!" Inko said laughing.

"I must say you smell rather... ravashing," Toshinori said in his villain voice getting close to her.

"Toshinori!" Inko said as she laughed

"Yeah I guess it was a bit fun to play the villain once in a while," Toshinori said.

"Well, looks like you have a lot of fun as the 'snake king'," Inko commented, "It actually sent shivers down my spine."

Little did they know, their hands were touching. Meanwhile Izuku went through his closet to find his All Might onesie. He suddenly found it.

"Perfect," he said.

Toshinori and Inko heard footsteps. It was time to go back into roleplaying. Toshinori turned back to Inko. Inko felt something slide around her shirt collar. It was a snake. (Well, really it was a sock disguised as a snake). Toshinori was pretending to have his 'snake minions' crawl around her with their toxin to turn her into his mindless zombie. Inko pretended to be in peril.

"Oh help me, somebody please!" she said.

"It's fine now!" Izuku said behind the door, "Why…. Because…."

Izuku pushed the door open and got into a pose.

"I am here!" he said.

"Mighty Man!" Inko said, "You've come to…."

One of the 'snakes' was wrapped over her mouth.

"Let her go Snake King," Izuku said.

"Never," Toshinori said in his evil voice as he caressed her hair, "I'm taking this beautiful woman to become my queen. Once these snakes fill her with my snake toxin, she will become mine. And there's nothing you can do to stop me."

He did his evil laugh. Izuku knew he had to rescue his mother.

"If you wish to save your mother, you must cross my maze of disaster," Toshinori said pointing at the various traps (Really just clothes and objects all around), "You better hurry, because my snakes are getting hungrier by the minute."

Izuku started jumping through the bottomless pits. In reality he was really just running around the room. Inko started to chuckle at her son's actions. She then turned to Toshinori.

"Let me go you evil villain," she said pretending to be the hostage.

"Never," he said, "With you by my side, the snake empire will reign supreme once again. Your foolish hero can't save you now."

He tipped the chair over and made Inko fall into the pit of snakes. Izuku used his aura quirk to propel himself closer to his mother. He managed to grab her just before she fell. The two of them rolled over the floor to safety. Inko looked down to her son and smiled.

"Thank you my hero," she said.

Toshinori then went down and took Inko by the arm. Inko pretended to scream in danger once again and struggled to get out of the 'evil snake king's' grasp. Izuku looked at him and glared.

"You fiend," Izuku said.

"You have failed, hero," Toshinori saaid, "Now I shall make my getaway on my snake car. The world will rue the day it rejected the snake king."

Izuku wasn't going to allow him to win. Channeling a small amount of aura into his hand, he shot an aura sphere. It hit Toshinori and he pretended to fall into the pit screaming. Inko was overjoyed. She was saved.

"Are you ok Mommy?" Izuku asked.

"I'm super," Inko said.

She lifted the boy up from the ground and then kissed his cheek, to which he giggled.

"You're the best superhero ever."

Later they started cleaning up the room. Toshinori was helping Inko put some things back in the closet. Inko tripped on something, but Toshinori caught her. As he held on to her, he got lost in her beautiful green eyes. The two of them blushed.

"Sorry about that, I tripped on something." Inko tells the blonde.

"Just doing what a hero is supposed to do, ma'am." Toshinori says, finishing off the whole act by tipping his non-existent hat like a cowboy, causing Inko to laugh.

Izuku noticed the two of them interacting with each other. He may be young, but he can tell that his mommy was in love when he sees it. And he could also tell that Toshinori was a good man.
