Hayleen is immune and has marks that determine her destiny. That doesn't mean she wants it, better dead than living with the conscience of knowing that she's to blame for creating such a dark future. WICKED can search for her as desperately as they want that they will still have to make the trials without her. There is no destination. It doesn't matter the names on her skin.

Before starting with the story it is important that you read this note.

First of all, it is worth clarifying that this fanfic is a mix of the first movie and all the books, except the second and third of the original trilogy. Also, while I will keep many little-known canon characters (mostly taken from Secret Files and CRUEL Code), this is a free (very free) adaptation of the original story and its characters. Therefore, there will be things in the main plot that I will not respect and many characters will have quite different personalities.

Which brings me to the next point. This is a dark story and the protagonists will be too, so you have to expect to meet a dark version of Newt, Thomas, Minho (and Gally). It will also have explicit sexual content and there will be scenes with questionable consent. Although I am not looking to romanticize it, it is part of the story. In fact, the relationships between the main characters are going to be toxic and should not be taken as a good example for real life.

As long as it is not to complain about any of the things mentioned in this note (they have already been warned), I would be glad if you let comments and give constructive criticism or mention things that you want to happen. The fanfic is already planned and written but if I like something about what you say, I could add it to the story.

Another important point is that there is a kind of prophecy in the fanfic that relates to brands and the immune. The four protagonists are Hayleen's soulmates so you can expect a special connection that will have biological and scientific justification, but which at the same time means that this is not a slow-burn story in which the characters fall in love slowly with each other. Due to the bond, they will love each other (although it will not be a blind love) and desire intensely, and there will be no infidelities or physical violence towards the protagonist from them. Also it is not a story in which the boys fight for the girl, it is a poly story, so Hayleen will have a relationship with the four characters.
