BAKUGAN THE BATTLE BEGINS
Ace looks around at the confused faces of everyone he brought over and sigh, Lycan floats up to catching his attention.
"You don't have to tell them everything just the basics" he says and Ace nods.
"Alright everybody look at the screen, I'll explain the basics and you'll just have to figure out the rest" Ace says as an image of a hexagonal circle appears.
"Bakugan is played with three things Bakugan; the ball objects that open up to reveal figures like Lycan, Gate Cards which are what bakugan fight on, when two or more bakugan fight on a gate card it can be activated for different affects, and Ability Cards basically they're like gate cards but are played from you're hand and have more effects" Ace says as images of bakugan, gate cards, and abiliy cards are shown.
"That seems simple enough" Jaune says and the other student's nod.
"So, we're watching some sort of children's game?" Ironwood asks and some of the adults (Raven, Winter, and Cinder openly scoff).
"Well it is in a universe but in this one it's a whole lot more fun, the last thing I'll tell you is that each bakugan belongs to one of six attributes, they're basically elements, you Pyrus that's fire and all bakugan in Pyrus are red, Haos is light and all Haos bakugan are white, Aquos is water and their color is blue, Venuts is wind and Ventus bakugan are green, Subterra is earth and the color is brown, and Darkus is darkness and Darkuss bakugan are black; all the attributes are represented on the hexagonal magic circle which also represents their relationships to each other" Ace explains as the screen flashes through each attribute symbol before then returning to the hexagonal circle.
"So that would make Lycan a Darkus Bakugan?" Ruby asks and Lycan nods.
"Officially Lycan's full name is Darkus Lunar Lycanoid but he likes to be called Lycan" Ace explains and the others nod.
"Alright it's been long enough, time to check out another multiverse, oh word to the wise when viewed on this screen it's comes off as a tv show and second of all there are no Grimm in this multiverse which means no Aura or Semblances" The second bit shocked them all. Ace turns to the screen and presses a few buttons on his hollow screen and suddenly some tubing lights to reveal that it was there the whole time, everyone watches a multicolored ball falls out of the tube and into Ace's hand. Ace holds the orb up and then places it in a slot in front of the screen and it turns back on as Ace steps back.
"Enjoy" Ace says as he takes his seat back and props his feet up.
Line Break
"I know this is gonna sound weird, but one day, my whole world changed" the camera zooms in on Dan Kuso staring up into the sky, he then holds his hands out and catches a card that fell from the sky.
"Did-did that card fall out of the sky or am I just drunk?" Qrow asks and Raven rolls her eyes.
"The card did fall out of the sky and you are drunk" Raven replies smirking as Qrow glares at her.
"You see, cards started dropping from the sky, coming down like rain" more cards are show falling.
"I don't know about other universes but that is definitely weird even for us" Roman comments and Neo nods.
"Good thing they're falling slowly" Jaune says.
"Why's that?" Pyyrha asks and Jaune slightly grimaces.
"Paper cuts" At this several viewers villains including groaned or grimaced at the thought.
"At first we didn't know where they were coming from or who sent them. We only knew they were more than just ordinary playing cards" Dan continues to narrate as Runo Misaka is shown in her house watching the card rain, she opens the window and a singular card floats through face up landing on her floor.
"Anyone could have guessed that" Weiss said with an eye roll.
"And it was happening all around the world" Shun Kazami is shown sitting on the ground looking beside him as a card is sticking into the ground.
"In the north; and the south. They landed everywhere" Alice Gehabich is show in front of her snow-covered mailbox with a card sticking out of the snow. Marucho Marukura is at the beach watching as a crab dances around with a card in its pincer. Julie Yamamota is waking up in her bed to a card in on her pillow.
"He wasn't kidding, does she sleep with her windows open or something?" Yang asks and the others near her shrug.
"I'm more curious as to what can cause such an event, surely raining cards would draw international attention?" Ironwood asks Ace who shrugs.
"Adults have always been different in this multiverse, more lenient" Ace says and several adults blank at this.
"How irrespnsible" Glynda says with Winter agreeing with her.
"Together with my online friends from around the world, we invented a wicked new game we called "Bakugan"". Runo, Marucho, Julie, and Alice were shown on Dan's computer and then dozens of others pop up as the camera pans back showing Dan in his chair.
"So, he invented Bakugan?" Ruby asks and just Ace was about to answer Ozpin steps in.
"I believe the more accurate statement would be that he created the rules Miss Rose" Ozpin says and Ruby nods.
"You really are quick on the take Wizard" Ace says and Ozpin turns to him.
"I've been meaning to ask you keep calling me Wizard and when your Jacks picked me and my allies up, they had a designation for each of us, what did they mean?" Ozpin asks.
"I'll tell you when the episode finishes" Ace repsonds and Ozpin nods.
"That's when the power of the cards was revealed; Each one held its own battling beast which came to life if you threw it down" An ability card was shown opening and a mulitolored ball floated out, the camera panned out to reveal two young boys the second also had a bakugan float out of his card. The one closest to the camera had a Haos bakugan float out and the further one had a Subterra bakugan.
"The battles were intense, and if you chose the wrong card, you lost it AND the best inside" The two bakugan land on a gate card and explode out into their true forms fighting as the two kids watched in amazement.
"That's-that's" Glynda begins and Ironwood, Qrow, and Raven edge away from her.
"I've known Goodwitch long enough to know when she's about to explode.
"THAT'S WILDLY IRRESPONSIBLE AND ANY PARENT THAT LET THEIR CHILDREN PLAY WITH THESE BAKUGAN SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE AUTHORITIES!" Glynda explodes into a tirade that had even Salem taken aback, Glynda's riding bent to a severe angle showing how angry she was. Everyone was either surprised, scared, or fearing she would relate this to how they run a school...everyone except Ace who wasn't even hiding his amusement.
"I'm so glad I brought this specific group" Ace says to himself.
"But that's only half the story: another even bigger battle was taken place in a parallel universe called Vestroia" A dragon bakugan in the Pyrus rolled onto a gate card and opened up and soon a large dragon assumed it's true from sprouting from inside a fiery tornado. It was then seen engaging in a battle with a darkus bakugan that resembled a Gheist Grimm in some ways with a large scythe.
"W-who were they?" Velvet asks frightened by the Darkus bakugan.
"Darkus Reaper and Pyrus Draganoid" Ace replied, the name of the Darkus bakugan sent shivers up some of the students' spines.
"My name is Dan, and together with my friends Runo, Marucho, Julie, Mr. Hotshot himself Shun, and Alice, we are the Bakugan Battle Brawlers" Soon each brawler was shown with their respective attibuted being their background with Dan having fire, Runo having light, Marucho having water, Julie having earth, and Shun having wind. The only one to not get an attribute was Alice who instead got sparkling light.
"How come Alice didn't get an attribute?" Ruby asks with a frown at the girl being left out.
"Alive doesn't really brawl but she has a ton of great strategies" Ace responds.
"Alice seems to be a nice girl and the only attribute left is Darkus can you really see a sweet girl using darkness?" Coco asks and Ruby nods her head at this while Ace innocently looks away, if only they knew.

"Okay I'll admit that song was pretty cool" Yang says and various others nod.
"It was the right amount of catchy without being repetitive or annoying" Blake says.
"You could say, that theme song was pretty yanging" Yang says and everyone except Raven and Jack groans, Raven has to suppresses a giggle at Yang's pun.
"Is this a regular thing?" Leonie asks Weiss who nods Jack lets out a laugh.
"At least someone enjoys my wicked sense of humor" Yang says high fiving one of the new guys.
The camera shows a beautiful city, footsteps are heard as the camera shifts and starts to zoom and then a door is heard opening. "Hey mom, I'm home!" A two-story orange house is shown and inside the legs of Dan are shown running up the stairs.
"Daniel! I put your lunch on the fridge and don't forget to wash up" Dan's mom yells to him while she was doing a stretch that she's watching on TV.
"Thanks mom I'll be down in a minute! Time to check out my stash" Dan throws his backpack on his bed and heads over to his desk and pulls out a small box. He opens the box to reveals at least a dozen Pyrus bakugan and some cards.
"I get that he's a pyrus user and all but would it kill him to throw in some variety" Sun says.
"Indeed, Mister Wukong having a familiar attribute seems prudent but it can't hurt to have some variety" Ozpin says.
"But what if he's not as good with the other attributes? Better to stick with the one you're good with and not risk losing with the others" Salem contradicts Ozpin and smirks at his glare, he then turns his glare to Ace who also smirks. He's loving his seating arrangements even more.
"Let's see, I'll take this, oh my Saurus, aw this one for sure, all set!" Dan says doing his signature pose of running his right thumb over his nose, then closing his left eye as he does a thumbs up.
"Daniel~ your lunch is ready and it's getting cold!" Dan's mom announces although she's in a much more difficult pose than the last time.
"Then why'd you put it in the fridge?" Dan retorts.
"Don't get smart with me young man!" She responds as he runs down the story.
"Sorry!" He yells back exiting the house
"And just where do you think you're going?" She questions as Dan hops out on his bike hitting the road.
"Catch you later!" Dan yells back.
"She's...really flexible" Mercury says and Emerald nudges him with her elbow.
"Really Merc?" Emerald asks and Mercury shrugs until he's hit in the back of the head by a snowball, he looks behind and sees Jack whistling innocently though the snowball he was tossing back and forth gave him away. Mercury was about to go get his revenge but stopped when he Cinder barely suppressing a giggle.
"You're seeing this to, right?" Mercury asks and Emerald nods speechless.
Dan is riding fast on his bike on the road, he stops when he gets to his destination which is a young boy and way bigger kid who is sitting on the bench behind the little kid.
"Sorry I'm late" Dan says.
"And here I thought you might have chickened out" The boy responds smirking at Dan as he gets off his bike.
"Doubt that Akira and who'd you bring with you? Hope it's back up cause you'll need it" Dan retorts.
"Confidant, I like it" Yang says with a thumbs up.
"Your battle isn't with me Danny-boy" Akira says as the bigger stands up.
"Woah, I don't think this very fair" Dan says but he still has a smirk on his face showing he's not worried.
"My little bro says you're pretty good, well I guess it's time to find out how good you really are" The big one says menacingly cracking his knuckles as he walked towards Dan.
"Yeah, I'm pretty good, what about you, what's your deal?" Dan asks.
"My name's Shuji and I'm the master of Subterra Space" Shuji brags.
"I bet he's all bluster" Cinder says with a smirk.
"Sucker's bet Fall" Qrow responds taking another swig from his flask.
"Y-you've gotta be joking me, I've never heard of Subterra before, aw great how am I supposed to battle against a battle that doesn't even exist" Dan dismisses angering Shuji.
"Quite your stalling!" Shuji yells out.
"Okay but before we do this I gotta warn you, I've never lost a battle before" Dan brags.
"That's pretty impressive" Blake notes.
"Unless his competition's been lackluster" Weiss says.
"Honey I'm home" Back at Dan's house and his dad has just walked into the house surprising his wife.
"Huh, I wasn't expecting you here so early" She responds.
"Yeah, well I just came home for a bite to eat" He responds placing his jacket on the chair and heading for the fridge. He opens the fridge and finds his favorite food; pudding. Back with Dan and Shuji, they're standing away from each other.
"Are you ready or what?" Shuji asks.
"They're gonna brawl right there?" Winter asks.
"Problem Ice Queen?' Qrow asks causing her to growl.
"Well, I doubt you noticed drunk, but look at the size of Lycanoid, Daniel chose three bakugan that we can only assume will be close in size and Shuji must also have at least three as well, that could be major collateral damage" Winter says and Ironwood agrees.
"I have to agree with Specialist Schnee" He simply says.
"Don't worry there is a solution to that" Ace says gesturing to the screen.
Dan smirks and as soon as a flock of pigeons fly up, they reach back and grab the same cards that fell from the sky.
"Bakugan, field open!" They both yell and their cards glow, Dan's red and Shuji's brown. The hexagonal magic circle appears under them, time slows as the pigeons move at a glacial pace and Dan's father drops his pudding but it's falling incredibly slow. The camera pans around Dan as each attribute space is shown until it stops revealing that Dan and Shuji have transported to a neutral field.
Everyone in attendance is speechless at what just happened, Pyyrha finds her voice first.
"W-what just happened?" She questions.
"Time slowed down and those two were transported to wherever they are" Neptune says his eyes wide.
"It seems that whatever they did has some sort of temporal effect on the surrounding area slowing time to almost a standstill" Penny says her android brain kicking in.
"I'm glad they have a place to battle without collateral damage but that seems like a lot of power to place in the hands of young children, I mean Akira was younger than Miss Rose" Ozpin says and Ace shrugs.
"If I could get my hands on those cards, I could have a place to create as many Grimm as I want and you wouldn't be able to stop me" Salem smirks at Ozpin who glares vowing silently never to let that happen.
"Gate card set!" Both Dan and Shuji leap back and throw their cards past the other, the cards glow the respective attribute color of the brawler. Dan's gate card expanding in front of Shuji and Shuji's in front of Dan.
"Bakugan brawl!" Shuji throws his first bakugan and it lands on his gate card, it pops open to reveal a bug-like design and its eyes flash a light brown or dark orange and a glow and the same color reveals its true form. A large mantis of the Subterra attribute.
"Oh ew, it's a big bug" Weiss says in disgust as her sister silently agrees with her.
"It looks tought" Jaune says.
Dan leaps back and looks at the watch on his wrist, the screen slides forward and up a little bit to reveal a key pad. On the small screen was the bakugan just thrown still in ball fork.
"Oppoent Subterra Mantris power level two-seven-zero Gs no other data available" A voice announces from the BakuPod.
"Aw great, okay Subterra means earth and his power levels at two-seven-zero so at least I know what kind of beast I'm dealing with here, question is what should I counter with?" Dan thinks to himself before her grows a smirk and selects the bakugan at the top of his holder.
"You little bug is going down" Dan flicks the bakugan up and catches it to throw.
"Bakugan stand!" the bakugan lands on the same gate card as Mantris and its eyes flash red and in a red light it reveals its true form as a large snake of the Pyrus element.
"Power level three-two-zero Gs" The BakuPod informs.
"Bakugan Brawl!" Shuji and Dan yell out as their bakugan battle. Mantris tries to slash the serpent but it slithers and coils around Mantris and begins to constrict it.
"Dan is actually pretty good given the power of his bakugan, what is it called?" Ren asks Ace.
"Serpenoid" Ace replies.
"But Shuji doesn't look work worried, his smirking" Blake points out as Shuji is in fact smirking.
"Gate card open up now!" Shuji's gate card glows the brownish-orange color and suddenly the neutral space turns into a desert, Dan looks behind him and sees pyramids appear as Mantris and Serpenoid fall on the ground.
"Power level increase to four-two-zero Gs"
"Not good" Dan says looking at his BakuPod. Serpenoid rises and looks for its prey and suddenly Mantris leaps out of the ground and does an x-slash. Serpenoid glows red and returns to ball form and hits the ground at Dan's feet, Mantris glows brownish-orange and returns to ball form but Shuji catches it.
"You're toast" Shuji taunts
"Battle one terminated, Subterra Mantris victorious" Shuji lets out a laugh.
"Oh man that was so easy, you fell faster than a dec of cards in a tornado!" Shuji taunts.
"To change the entire area where they were battling, those gate cards hold a lot of power" Glynda says.
"I knew he was all bluster" Cinder says with a smirk.
"We'll see, you just watch Dan's gonna win this" Yang says and Cinder smirks at her.
"Wanna bet Xiao Long?" Cinder taunts.
"You're on" Yang replies, the two still smirking but you could practically see the lightning clash between them. Jack and Kalista just look around nervously having been caught in the middle.
"Time to finish what I started" Shuji taunts holding up another bakugan and throws it on the remaining gate card.
"Bakugan stand!" this time the bakugan pops open to reveal a crab-like figure whose eyes flash and in a brownish-orange light reveals a massive crab-like bakugan.
"This time it's a giant crab? I assume that all this bakugan share similarities to regular animals?" Ozpin asks and Ace nods.
"At least the first wave...mostly" Ace says only trailing off remembering certain bakugan.
"This bakugan have given me ideas for some new Grimm, I don't have a mantis or crab Grimm and they're already named" Salem says causing Ozpin to blank at this. Just what he needed, Salem getting any more ideas.
"You think you're pretty good huh? Well, you better buckle up Shuji because, you're going down!" Dan returns the taunt.
"Bakugan brawl!" Dan throws his bakugan in front of Shuji's.
"Bakugan stand!" The ball opens up to reveal an avian figure whose eyes flash. The bakugan shoots into the sky out of the red glow to reveal a red humanoid falcon bakugan.
"Meet Subterra Terrorclaw and Pyrus Falconeer" Ace informs.
"Terrorclaw is an excellent name for a Grimm" Salem says.
"Gate card open!" Dan's gate card opens up and fire shoots out of it. Falconeer soars in and quickly takes out Terrorclaw to win the battle.
"It's all tied up" Dan taunts
"That was easy" Emerald says watching the one-sided battle.
"Seems Terrorclaw isn't that strong" Ozpine notes smirking at Salem's glare.
"Not for long, gate card set!" This battle starts from the point of view of the BakuPod.
"Round three begins"
"Bakugan stand!" Both brawlers throw their bakugan and they open up to reveal they threw the same bakugan; a giant bipedal rhinoceros bakugan. Dan's bakugan had 280Gs and Shuji's had 320Gs thanks to his gate card. The actual battle is shown and the two rhino bakugan are wrestling with Shuj's gaining the upper hand.
"Abiltiy card activae; Saurus Glow!" Dan throws his ability card at the card and a streak of fire climbs onto Saurus giving him a red hue. Shuji watches as Dan's Pyrus Saurun shoulder barges into Shuji's Subterra Saurus winning the battle.
"Seems to me that my boy Dan is more than just bluster, Cindy" Yang taunts her and she scowls at the younger girl.
"Whatever" Cinder huffs out as Jack snickers.
"No, no this can't be happening" Shuji says in shock as Saurus' ball lands in front of him.
"Hate to tell yah bud, but it looks like you're down to your Subterra Mantris and if I figured right one more itsy-bitsy battle will but you away for good" Dan taunts.
"We'll just see about that punk, gate card set!" Shuji throws his gate card now enraged at Dan's taunt.
"Bakugan brawl!" Shuji throws his Mantris and it stands ready to fight.
"Bakugan brawl!" Dan throws his bakugan and it's revealed to Falconeer as it soars into the sky.
"Gate card open!" The desert field from Mantris' battle with Serpenoid returns.
"Now to play my ability card; Slice Cutter!" Shuji throws his ability card and it soars in between Mantris' claws causing them to glow. Mantis performs in x-slice and sends an enerygy slash in the shape of an x up at Falconeer.
"Wow I'm impressed, if you think you're the only one holding an ace you're wrong" Dan taunts.
"Smart mouth"
"Counter ability activate; Frame Fire!" Dan throws his ability card and as it flies it is engulfed in fire, it begins to swirl around Falconeer who made it easier by closing his wings around him. The Slice Cutter slams into Falconeer but the fire breaks the energy slash shocking Shuji. Falconeer opens its wings to show that it's holding a ball of fire in its hand, Falconeer throws the fire at Mantris. Mantris is engulfed in fire and returned to ball form losing the battle and the brawl.
"Game set and match; Dan"
"It looks like I win" Dan says as the field around him and Shuji disappears taking them back to the park. Time resumes normal speed and the pigeons fly away and Dan's father drops his pudding.
"This bakugan is impressive, still not completely comfortable with children playing with it especially now that we've seen a brawl in action" Ironwood comments with the responsible adults agreeing with him.
"It's wildly irresponsible especially without any adult supervision" Glynda says gripping her riding crop tightly.
"It looks like it's a lot of fun, how come we didn't get special raining cards on Remnant Ren?" Nora asks and Ren shrugs.
"All that talking Shuji did and he got beat pretty easily" Yang says smirking at Cinder's glare.
"Just shows that the bigger the talk the shorter the walk" Jack says and Emerald stares at Mercury.
"What? Is there something on my face?" Mercury asks confused.
Akira looks confused at the two brawlers before he figures out what happened.
"I don't believe it, you promised me you'd clean his clock what happened?" Akira asks his big brother who drops to his knees and hangs his head in shame.
"I'm sorry" Shuji apologizes while Dan does his pose.
"That was easy" Dan says. Later on, Dan is in his house in front of his computer.
"And then I let him have it with my secret weapon, Frame Fire! Man, you should have seen me I was like totally wicked, what would you expect from the greatest bakugan brawler!" Dan brags to his friends.
"He definitely likes to brag" Blake says with a deadpan, Dan reminding her of Yang when she plays Remnant: The Game.
"Whatever, I just checked the world ranking and you're sitting at 121" Runo dismisses causing Dan to look back at his computer.
"That's impossible Runo I've got to check this out for myself" Dan says scrolling up on the world ranking page.
"Ha, 117!" Dan says.
"Oh, please give me a break, you should save your breath until you break into the top ten" Runo says.
"Yeah, right like your one to talk, you're not even ranked" Dan retorts sticking his tongue out at her.
"Ooh like that's real mature!" Runo angrily responds.
"Those two are so into each other" Yang says and Blake and Kalista silently nod.
"That's obvious Xiao Long what are they, like twelve? They're arguing says it all" Coco says.
"Oh, Danny that's so dreamy~ 117, that's like four whole spots in one day! Definitely worth a big smooch from Julie" Julie says kissing her screen causing Dan to fall back in surprise.
"Gross!"
"You've got to be kidding me" Emeral says palming her face.
"Oh man that hurt, quit slobbering up the screen I'm a battle brawler not your boyfriend" Dan says rubbing his nose.
"Woah this is so kindergarten" Runo says crossing her arms.
"You go Danny I'll always be your biggest fan in the world!" You could practically see the hearts floating off of her.
"She's definitely jealous" Yang says.
"It'd only be more obvious if she held up a sign that says "I'm Jealous"" Coco says smirking at Yang who smirks back, suddenly several people felt shivers go up their spines.
"Dan, might I suggest your sights on Shun, he's ranked number one and, in a few years, you could surpass him" Marucho says causing Dan to frown.
"In a few years, there has to be some way you could challenge him or something isn't there?" Alice says and Dan leans back in his chair.
"I bet I could take that jerk, I don't mean to brag you know but, no one's even come close to challenging me, better look out Shun because I'm going to take you down" Dan says looking up.
"Shun's ranked number one in the world, that's incredible" Jaune says as several students agree with him.
"But from the way Dan talks about him, it sounds like they had some kind of falling out" Pyyrha says.
"I wonder what happened between them?" Ruby asks not liking the idea of two friends fighting.
The camera transitions to a dojo like house where Shun is sitting outside looking up at the moon.
"Hah, defending my ranking's been a joke when battling these amateurs" We can here Shun's thoughts as he looks at the moon.
"What I need is a serious challenger, one that understands the power in the Vestroia dimension"
"I get the sense that Shun definitely knows more about bakugan than everyone else" Weiss says and Ace shrugs.
"If only the human they call Dan could understand, that Bakugan is not just a game" A nother voice is heard as the camera is seen going through some kind of portal and then the hexagonal magic circle appears although each attribute symbol is replaced with something similar to a galaxy.
"An even larger battle is taking place in my universe; Vestroia a universe filled with six worlds each with its own element" The voice says as the camera zooms in on one world.
"The earth element called; Subterra" In this world it's full of rocky terrain and mountians. A large turtle like bakugan rises from being partially submerged in the earth and a large golem bakugan is seen behind it.
"I bet I could do some major damage if I was a Subterra bakugan!" Nora says as Ren shivers at the thought of a bakugan-sized Nora.
"They certainly seem like sturdy bakugan" Pyyhra thinking of how hard the shell on that large turtle bakugan must be and it's use as a shield.
"Penny I believe this attribute would be perfect for us" Ironwood says and Penny nods
"I could make those colors work" Coco says with her hand rested on her chin.
"The element of light; Haos" This world is full of light; the camera is in front of a knight like bakugan wielding a staff. Suddenly a large quadrupedal tiger bakugan rushes towards the camera.
"Weiss, I do believe this Haos element has a lot of potential" Winter says with her younger sister agreeing with her.
"I wish I could be like that knight bakugan, he looked so cool" Jaune says imagining himself with the knigh like bakugan.
"It seems to be the element of order if that knight is a proper representation of the attribute" Glynda says just thinking of all the students she could keep in line with a Haos bakugan.
"Those lights kinda remind me of my clones, I wonder if any bakugan can do that" Sun says.
"Haos definitely seems like the perfect distraction attribute" Roman says and Neo nods giving him a thumbs up in agreement.
"The element of light, well this seems rather poetic really" Ozpin says glancing at Salem imaging a battle between them using Haos and Darkus bakugan.
"The dark element, Darkus" This world is nothing but darkness, as a large wingless dragon falls into view roaring.
"My favorite element" Ace says noting some of the shivers that went through some of the viewers at the bakugan.
"I definitly would use a Darkus bakugan If they're all like Lycan and the one we just saw" Mercury says.
"Shadows are another aspect of darkness; it seems I was destined for this attribute" Anubis says.
"I can't really see myself with any other attribute" Kalista says mostly to herself.
"Seems like a bad luck attribute, if it is than it's definitely mine" Qrow says.
"Seems strong enough" Raven says simply.
"The element of dark, feels as if it was destiny" Salem says glancing at Ozpin unknowingly having the same thought of a battle between them involving Darkus and Haos bakugan.
"Aquos or what human would call the water element" This world is full of water and ice as a robot like bakugan jumps out of the water and the shadowy silhouette of a humanoid lizard-like bakugan was seen riding on a block of ice.
"Definitely up my ally" Jack says holding his hand up forming an icicle.
"Hey water, that's your department buddy!" Sun says clapping Neptune on the back.
"Great" He replies with a shiver.
"The wind element; Ventus" This world is shown full of wild tornados as a Venuts Falconeer flies away and a large phoenix bakugan flies towards the camera.
"Wind's pretty fast right?' Ruby asks imaging herself racing a Ventus bakugan.
"I could do a lot with wind" Velvet says imaging a Ventus bakugan blowing Cardin and his gang away.
"I could use a flying bakugan in a fight" Emerald says
"I wonder how else Ventus bakugan use they're wind" Ren says.
"And the fire element; Pyrus" A large white dragon flies towards the camera.
"How come we didn't get to see any cool Pyrus bakugan?" Yang questions.
"Yeah, I wanted to what else they had" Leonie says.
"A shame, I was looking forward to seeing more" Cinder says.
"Naga, wait!" Suddenly the large Pyrus Draganoid from the theme song flew in front of the white dragon now known as Naga.
"Out of my way Drago" Naga demands.
"Why are you so obsessed with gaining all this power Naga, you know that it will only lead to your ultimate destruction" Dragon says.
Ozpin shoots a look at Salem who rolls her eyes in response.
"I have a question, we've now seen three bakugan talk intelligently, why didn't the bakugan Dan or Shuji talk or give them advice?" Ironwood asks Ace.
"They can't, most of the brawlers on Earth don't know about Vestroia and only think the bakugan are state of the art pieces of their game" Ace says shokcing everyone.
"How could they think that? What technology is capable of that?" Winter asks and Ace shrugs.
"Hard-light technology, kid logic, it could be anything" Ace says.
"Silence! You have no idea of what we feel inside, you know nothing of our world!" Naga yells.
Salem shoots her own look at Ozpin who narrows his eyes in mild confusion.
"I suspect you were the one behind the human they call Michael, what I'd like to know is, where did you find him?" Drago questions the white dragon who just laughs in response and holds up a familiar card.
"Do you know what this is?" Naga asks Drago who just narrows his eyes in anger. Naga throws the card to the side and it opens up a portal in the shape of that card.
"A portal?!" Dragon yells in shock.
"Yes! It leads to the source of the power!" Naga yells entering the portal, it thn closing behind him.
"But to where?" Drago questions.
"The dimension of Vestroia" Naga's voice is heard echoing as if taunting Drago. The camera pans out going back the way it came and arrives to Dan again this time during dusk. He's carrying a bag over his back but stops when he sees Shuji and Akira in front of him.
"I want a rematch" Shuji says.
"This guy again, didn't he get enough last time" Yang says.
"I'm more concerned about where this Naga was going" Blake says with several people agreeing with her.
"Give me a break you like losing?" Dan asks.
"Just zip it! Either we brawl of I let my fist do the talking!" Shuji yells with Akira cheering him on. Dan drops his bag and grabs his field card the time as Shuji.
"Field open!" They flip their cards and they glow, Shuji's this time glows a dark purple. Time slows as a card passes by coming to almost a complete stop.
"It seems that Shuji's changed attributes" Glynda says.
"Is that allowed Ace?" Ruby asks.
"Yeah, there is no rule saying you have to stick with the attribute you pick or even stick to one attribute" Ace says.
"Let's do this, bakugan brawl!" Shuji throws his bakugan showing indeed that it is Darkus, it lands on the gate card in front of Dan and pop open to reveal a familiar turtle-like figure who eyes flash purple.
"Bakugan stand!" The bakugan stands and reveals itself to be a Darkus variation of the turtle bakugan from Subterra Space.
"How in the world did you ever get a hold of a Darkus beast" Dan says shocked.
"Here's a thought kid, why don't you call me, Master of Darkus" Shuji says smirking.
"Give me a break, if I'm gonna call you anything it's loser" Dan retorts.
"I've had it with you, you little creep are we gonna do this or what?!" Shuji yells.
"Sure, give me a minute would yah" Dan says.
"He's quick with the burns" Yang says.
"Well, he is a Pyrus brawler" Leonie says.
"I guess you can say he's, bringing the heat" Yang says and everyone groans except Jack who high fives Yang and Raven who smirks.
"Now what should I counter with, something big or small? Bakugan brawl!" Dan throws his bakugan to the gate card in front of Shuji who is confused by this.
"Bakugan stand!" The bakugan stands and it's Saurus again.
"Aw come on, you've gotta be kidding that's it? That's all you got?" Shuji asks.
"Hey didn't anyone ever tell you size doesn't always matter" Dan retorts.
"It's your funeral, now to blow this little twerp away for good" Shuji says holding up another bakugan.
"Bakugan brawl!" Shuji throws it in front of Saurus and it opens up to reveal a scorpion like design with its eyes flashing purple.
"Darkus Stinglash stand!" Shuji yells as his bakugan is engulfed in a purple glow and stands to reveal its true form as a scorpion bakugan. Dan looks at his BakuPod and is shocked at what he finds.
"Darkus Stinglash power level three-three-zero Gs, Saurus power level two-eight-zero Gs"
"It's really strong but another bug and this one is creepier than the last one!" Weiss says looking at Stinglash.
"Its face is really creepy" Velvet agrees.
The two bakugan begin to battle with Stinglash trying to stab its stinger into Saurus who dodged two strikes and catches the third.
"Looks like I need a little power boost" Dan says watching the struggle.
"Gate card open!" Dan's gate card opens and fire shoots out of it and envolpes the battle field.
"Saurus power level increased to three-one-zero Gs" It's not enough to help Saurus as Stinglash uses its left claw to clench Saurus' leg and then punches its other claw into Saurus' gut defeating it. Shuji laughs as he catches Stinglashes ball.
"So how does it feel to get your butt kicked, good and proper" Shuji taunts.
"Hey, this battle is far from over!" Dan says.
"While they do trash talk these two don't seem to actually hate each other" Pyyrha notes.
"Yeah P-Money it's more like friendly trash talk in the spirit of competition" Yang replies.
Naga is shown exiting the portal out of Pyrus Space and comes to a stop at two glowing orbs. One was light with a yellow glow and the other was dark with a purple glow.
"Yes, I have reached the center of the universe, Amazing! There they are the two conflicting forces; Infinity and Silence" Naga says staring at the two cores in wonder.
"They keep the dimensions in balance, if I can absorb these two energies, hahaha! I can unite with Hal G and together we can conquer Eartha and Vestroia!" Naga says flying up to the Silent Core.
Salem smiles imaging herself in Naga's shoes, mere moments away from achieving her goal, with Ozpin able to do nothing.
"The power, feel the power!" Naga yells as he starts absorbing the energy of the Silent Core.
"More! Excellent! The power, the infinite power building inside of me!"
"Must be so nice when a plan comes together" Salem says.
"Soon that will be you Lady Salem" Cinder says and Salem nods.
"Of course, dear Cinder no one can stop us" Salem says looking right at Ozpin who sighs, his retorts died in his throat when everyone noticed something going on with Naga.
"No! What's happened! An overload of negative energy! I can't control the balance! Too much! Too much! No! Not enough positive energy! It's out of control! NOOOOO!" Naga is absorbed into the Silent Core and the subsequent explosion of energy knocks the Infinity Core away and into a portal it created. The explosion created a wave of negative energy the reaches everywhere. It's shown effecting a Subterra Juggernoid in Subterra Space, Ventus Falconeer in Ventus Space, and a fearsome looking Darkus bakugan in Darkus Space.
"Let this be a lesson, students, the lust before can very well become your undoing" Ozpin teaches as he sips his tea that he got from a Jack. Salem just scowls knowing that was really aimed at her, as if she would be foolish enough to focus on just one core.
Drago is shown also being hit by the wave of negative energy.
"What's happening?! Naga! This must be Naga's doing!" Drago yells as the wall around Pyrus Space seems to collapse. The Darkus bakugan being affected by the negative wave flies in showing that it has two huge hands with claws on them. It would have hit Drago but he dodged it.
"What is a Darkus bakugan doing in Pyrus Space?" Drago asks but it doesn't answer and instead goes and attacks him. The negative wave is shown entering Dan and Shuji's brawl as well.
"Incredible, that wave is also affecting Earth" Ironwood says.
"That can't be good" Qrow notes.
Dan looks around as he is suddenly transported to Pyrus Space, he sees Drago and the Darkus bakugan battling, Dan and Drago make brief eye contact. Dan looks at the fight until he finds himself in a portal and covers his eyes at the blinding light, he covers them and sees that he's back in the battle field with Darkus Stinglash and Pyrus Serpenoid out and battling.
"That was just totally weird" Dan says to himself.
"Enough fooling around, it's time to end this battle Darkus Stinglash attack!" Shuji commands and Stinglash tries to pierce Serpenoid with its stinger. Serpenoid coils around Stinglash and begins to constrict around it crushing.
"What happened to all that trash talk, scared your Stinglash can't handle the pressure?" Dan taunts.
"Command card; Quartet Battle activate now! Get ready Shuji because a few more bakugan have been invited to the party!" Dan says as his gate card opens.
"What does this one do?" Ruby asks.
"Quartet Battle is a command card that makes it so that the battle can only resumes once there are four bakugan on the gate card" Ace explains.
Drago is shown still battling with the Darkus bakugan in Pyrus Space they are both enveloped in a multicolored light. Dan is holding a card that's emitting the same light.
"My...ability card is transforming" Dan says in shock as a bakugan rises up from the card and shoots at the gate card. Shuji falls on the ground on his butt because his ability card did the same thing. The card in Dan's hand stops glowing showing Drago shooting a fireball.
"This thing is a Draganoid's card" Dan says. The bakugan stand and assume the form of Drago and the Darkus bakugan battling.
"Those are the same beasts I saw in my vision" Dan notes.
"This definitely not a kids game anymore" Qrow says.
"For once I agree with you brother, these bakugan don't need to be in the hands of children" Raven says.
"You must come to your senses!" Dan looks around when he hears the voice.
"Who, said that? Was it you" Dan asks out loud looking up at the battling bakugan.
"Fear Ripper snap out of it!" Drago yells.
"Fear Ripper? An excellent name for a Grimm" Salem says and Ozpin sighs and Ace smirks at this.
"The negative energies of the Silent Core have taken over your power of reason" Drago says.
"My ears aren't...playing tricks on me" Dan says as Fear Ripper roars.
"His power is building" Drago says noticing the glow is Fear Ripper's eyes. Drago kicks Fear Ripper back to create space.
"Boosted Dragon!" Drago rears his head back and shoots out a fireball that engulfs Fear Ripper and Stinglash winning the battle and the brawl. The brawl ends and time resumes, Akira walks up to Shuji who is still on the ground.
"Are you okay man?" Akira asks his brother.
"I lost again!" Shuji cries out with Dan still in shock over what happened.
"I don't get it, I thought Bakugan was just a game, there's got to be more to it and I've got to find out what" Dan thinks to himself looking at his new bakugan in his hand.
"His whole world just got blown" Sun says.
"Now we have to see how he responds" Blake says.
"Kay if you're in there talk to me, cause I want to get to the bottom of this" Dan says back in his room the time of day now night. He's holding Drago in his ball form between his index finger and thumb.
"Aw man this is totally pointless, it's just a game piece...but I heard it, I thought I heard it talking...didn't I?" Dan questions himself as he begins to poke and prod Dragon, holding him up to his hear to see if he hears anything.
"Oh boy I'm losing my mind but, I'm sure I heard it" Dan says looking at Drag intently.
"Ah no biggie but, seeing as you're a Draganoid I'm gonna call you Drago, sweet that's your new name buddy" Dan says laying back on his bed and placing Drago in between his toys on the table next to the bed.
"Man for a minute there I actually thought it talked, I got to lay off the sodas, whelp time to hook up to the web, ngight Drago" Dan says getting back up and heading towards his computer.
"They really think they're just game pieces and not actual living beings" Blake says her eyes ears flattened.
"How could they think that, what kind of game would allow that?" Weiss asks.
"This game was created by children, the minds of children accept a lot of things easily" Anubis says, everyone stares at him not expecting such a wise answer.
Dan gets on his friends' web chat server and he sees they're all already there.
"Dan you're there" Marucho smiles.
"His voice really doesn't match his body" Coco notes and several people nod in agreement.
"Hey guys, you're not gonna believe this but, I was brawling with this dude named Shuji I thought I heard my bakugan talk" Dan says.
"No way you to!?" Runo asks.
"What do you mean Runo, you're saying someone else heard them to?" Dan asks confused.
"You should log onto the bakugan site, it's what everyone's talking about Dan" Julie informs. Dan does that and sees a ton of kids claiming to have heard there bakugan talking.
"It did talk! Maybe the bakugan world has more to it than we thought!" Dan thinks to himself as the camera pans out to show Earth.
The screen goes off signaling that the episodes over, everyone turns to Ace hoping he'll answer Ozpin's question.
"How to start?" Ace asks himself leaning back in his chair.
"Well to answer your question Wizard, while I'm creating my branch on your tree, I have to research the original branch, it's the body of the tree that all other branches sprout from, we call it the Central Branch." Ace begins.
"When I was studying your Central Branch I found that each of you has similarities to figures of fables, folk lore, myth, and history of another multiverse" Ace says and they start to catch on.
"So, you gave us designations after the figure we share similarities with" Ozpin reasons and Ace nods.
"Makes organizing information easier and I call you Wizard because it's my thing, I don't call people by their names unless I'm mad at them I'm a nickname-based being.
"Do you have any information on these figures we share similarities with?" Salem asks and Ace nods.
"I'll give you some books during out first intermission, any other questions?" Ace asks and everyone shakes their head no.
"Good, onto the next episode"

Alright, first chapter in the books and it was longer than I thought, but I guess taking 22 minutes and putting in word form and adding in comments from other characters is a space filler. About my oc's I'm gonna try and not have them talk so much during the viewing, they're here more for the Intermissions so I can get your proper opinion on them.
