Edlynne Potter was a kind soul and becoming EDLYNNE MIKAELSON didn't changed that. She was good to everyone, well, until they touched what is hers. So when the insolent brats of mystic falls tried to hurt and successfully killed her husband,she was beyond furious. She had a feeling something bad would happen, she had just hoped it wouldn't, but her intitution was never wrong. That was the reason she had tried to stop her husband but he simply said ("darling you worry too much"). Of course she knew her husband was immortal and has crossed paths with many enemies, but she couldn't help it . So when her concern grew stronger , unable to keep herself she fled to the Gilbert house.

Seeing dead body of the love of your life is not exactly what someone would want. But fate doesn't exactly give us choices. Edlynne for the first time in many years broke down watching the burnt body of her husband. She completely ignored the other man, obviously a vampire and started crying holding the younger mikaelson's body.

The other man obviously not wanting to see the cries just cleared his throat and demanded answers. Answers she wasn't going to give him soon. However, she was relieved to know the blue eyed guy was her husband's brother i.e. her brother-in-law, but she didn't trust him. This was the first time she was meeting him and she only knew what kol told her, so she's not spilling her secrets to a stranger. But she knew she needed his help , if she wanted to resurrect Kol easily. She knew with the blood of a related person the spell would be easy and Kol will be back, but she does have different ways to bring him back even if they are complex. However, as her eyes landed on her husband's body again, she knew she couldn't wait.

"And pray tell what are you love?"Klaus' voice cut off her thoughts.

Thinking of her decision, she said " Look it doesn't matter who or what I am. What matter right now is that I can bring your brother back—" She was cut off harshly by Klaus who sped towards her but was stopped by the barrier.

"Don't lie to me , witch , You won't like the consequences" he warned her with a harsh glare.

"I don't give a fuck if you think I am lying" she snapped at him before sighing "Look, I want your brother back just as much as you do, maybe more. So just listen and cooperate will you?"

"How would I know you're not lying?" Klaus said distrustfully

"I will free you from this barrier spell, if you will listen to me." Edlynne replied after a moment of pause. " Look, I will do everything in front of your eyes and you can kill me if I betray you alright?" Not like you can but oh she said desperation evident in her voice.

Klaus eyed her intently for a moment then nodded. He will definitely kill her if she betrays him, powerful witch or not.

Why and where do you want my blood?" He asked

"Not here. Maybe we can—" she started but klaus cut her off...once again.

"We are going to my house" his tone left no arguments.

Edlynne sighed and nodded literally questioning why she is even putting up with him.

"What about them?" Klaus asked her? Looking at the three unconscious teenagers who thought themselves better than everyone, her mind raged. She wanted nothing but to kill them but she knew Kol would want his revenge.

"I'll handle them." She spoke in a cold voice that sent a shiver down klaus' spine. Not that he would ever admit it. "But for now" she just waved her hands and the three figures disappeared. She then proceeded to break the barrier spell.

"Can you pick him up?" She asked the hybrid,she knew she could do it with magic but she wanted to preserve as much energy as possible. She didn't knew how much it would take to bring her husband back, as she never did it before.

Soon , the witch , the hybrid and the dead original reached the mikaelson mansion and Edlynne asked for klaus' blood just as he finished putting Kol's body on the couch. After another session of threats and warnings about ripping her many organs , she finally started the spell. Meanwhile, klaus watched her intently in between checking his phone for any messages from his living brother and sister. He told them everything and now they are on their way back.

Just as she completed making sigils around Kol's body all while chanting in ancient language . The vampire woke up with a gasp. He looked around his brother's house confused for a second , then his eyes fell on Edlynne who was trying hard not to break in tears.

"Hey Angel" he whispered looking into her worried eyes.

All the self control Edlynne had,was lost as threw herself in his arms ,hugging the life out of him, with streams of tears falling down her checks.

"I'm never letting you follow any of your stupid plans again" She sniffled, still hugging Kol tightly, who was hugging her back the same way. "You're never and I repeat never getting out of my sight Kol Mikaelson!"

"As you say Darling" Kol chuckled softly and kissed her forehead.

Their sweet moment was broken by a klaus' voice who was still looking at his brother in shock "Kol?"
