Thank you guys for the OC's! Before I can fully get the story started I do need most of RiverClan filled out, such as the deputy a few elders, and of course Milkstream's litter.

The rest of the Clans I don't need to worry about until later. But for now if RiverClan isn't filled out I can't go on with the story, and of course my own OC's will be put into the story if the roles aren't filled out fast enough.

Also! For the guest (Songmistle) that made the ocs, Songpaw and her family, and Eclipsekit and her sister, the word 'sexuality' that you didn't know is like if the cat is bi, gay, straight, pan, etc. That's what 'sexuality' means. And for the 'Mate' I get they are young and can't have mates yet - but that's a spot you can put like of you want them to have a mate later on, or not at all. Hopefully this helps a little bit.

The camp buzzed with life as the two cats walked out of the nursery. They held their heads close together, mumbling lowly. Kits ran around their paws. Enough to see that they could make up the next generate.

One of the cats, a long-coated cream she-cat with bright blue eyes, held a small kitten near her chest. It wiggled in her grasp. Long feathery tail whipping around in the air as their tiny paws waved at her muzzle.

"Morning, lady's." A speckled tom meowed. He dipped his head to the two cats, although he earned a growl from one of the cats. "Sorry - lady and..cat."

The ginger cat flattened their ears. Their tail lashed before they forced the scowl to fade away. "Is ThunderClan still pushing our border?" They meowed.

Beechjump shook his head. His gaze narrowed as he dug his claws into the dirt. "Those squirrel-brained warriors think we don't notice. Thornstar is thinking about sending a patrol to show them our own thoughts on the matter."

Excitement buzzed in the tom's voice. His amber eyes darkened, as if imagining the battle already. Snorting, the ginger warrior flexed their claws. "I'm sure I'll be hearing about this later. For now go check on the border with SkyClan, bring only a few others with you, we are on good terms with them."

The tom growled. His hackles raised as he scrunched his muzzle at them. "Didn't Thornstar but someone else into deputy position? I don't think you have the authority-"

"Just do it!" A snarl from behind the battle-scared tom made him jump. Fur brislted out as he turned around to face the large gray tom. "I don't have the time to hear you complain, Beechjump. Dawnflame has other things to do and so do I."

The tom nodded. Before he left he tossed a glare back at the ginger warrior. Lips pulled back to show his broken yellow teeth before he left. Dawnflame sighed softly. Their ears flattened as they tried to shake off the aggression that settled over their heads.

Once the brown tom was out of ear shot they growled. Eyes narrowed as they sat down, the loose skin from their pregnancy making it seem like they had been a starved kittypet. "ThunderClan still at it?"

Thornstar only gave a curt nod. His eyes gave away his thoughts as he looked to where Beechjump had left. "I want you to lay off deputy work. That's why I picked..whoever I did." He shook his head. "You need to rest. I may not care that you bore my litter - but I do care as you are my deputy. I need to know that you're rested before we confront ThunderClan."

Dawnflame sighed. "I take that as a yes." Their whiskers twitched in amusement at the toms low growl. It was indeed odd the two never got along when they spoke like mates - of course neither one of them wanted to be mates - but as leader and deputy they got along pretty well.

"It is a yes," he meowed slowly, "but I don't plan to make any big moves. I chose you as deputy for a reason, I know you'll have a good plan on what to do with those no-good dung eaters!"

The tom turned at that. He left just as quickly as he had appeared. They tilted their head as their mate nuzzled their cheek. Milkstream hadn't spoken the entire time. And when Dawnflame looked to them, worry shined in her pretty blue eyes.

Dawnflame purred softly, a rough purr that was broken as they tried to calm their own nerves. A battle with ThunderClan was the last thing they needed. Newleaf might be plentiful, but the leafbare had been hard on RiverClan, and they couldn't afford a war.

Worry made their stomach churn at the thought of battle so soon. They lost many great warriors to leafbare, the spontaneous forest fires, not a battle between them and ThunderClan? They shook their head. Amber gaze flickering down to the litter of kits that raced around the couples paws.

One kitten laid on Milkstream's paw. It looked ill, small and sickly. Tiny ears were unfolded and listening, but the eyes were still closed shut tightly. Dawnflame knew that runts rarely lived past a moon or so, but it's been two, and the survival of the little spotted kitten seemed rocky.

A tail laid across their back. Ears flicking, they forced their thoughts away with a small smile. "Let's go see what the hunting patrol brought back. I think I seen Curlypaw holding a nice rabbit." Dawnflame gave the long-pelted queen's shoulder a affectionate headbutt before heading of to the fresh-kill pile.

This isn't a long chapter, as I need Milkstream's kits to be filled out, and of course a deputy that is just a replacement for Dawnflame whilst their nursing their litter.
