Chapter 2
When the twins were born April hadn't been able to get away from college however 2 months had passed and April was finally in Stars Hollow. Rory was in the diner when the door opened. Seeing Luke smile she knew April had just walked in
"April" Luke called as he went to give her a hug. Rory saw and quickly messaged Logan that she'd arrived
She's here you ready?
Yes and the twins are very ready to meet her Ace
I know I can't believe they are 2 months old already!
Me neither I will see you soon Ace

Rory had to laugh at Logan's last message which alerted April that she was at the counter
"So apparently I have Step cousins? I would believe you but I have no proof" April said without actually saying hello
"It's nice to see you too" Rory said laughing
"You too sis" April said giving her a hug
"Would you like to come and meet Logan and the kids?" She asked
"Yes please" April said getting giddy in her seat
"Come on then, Luke I will see you soon" she said before heading out of the dinner with April
"Logan!" She called opening the door "We have a visitor"
"Hello, you must be April" he said greeting them in the entryway
"Yeah it's nice to meet you. You are the famous boyfriend after all" April joked
"The kids good" Rory asked him giving him a brief kiss
"Little Tasmanian Devils" he said smiling he was lying and Rory could he see his lie
"That's good" she mumbled in his chest "Come on I want to see my babies"
"I see where I rank now, they are on the play mat Ace. Come on April" He said as Rory had run off to find them. Sure enough she was crouched down my Richard and Lia.
"You can't exactly seee them from the doorway" Rory laughed seeing them standing there
"Okay" April said marvelling at the size of the house and the babies in front of her "This house is huge" She said
"Thank Huntzberger" Rory said
"You are rich?" She asked
"You could say that" Logan said smiling now joining them
"That's Richard and that's Lia" He said pointing to the babies
"They look so similar how do you tell them apart?" She asked today was one of the days they were dressed the same
"Eye colour but mainly changing diapers helps to tell them apart" Rory joked
"Indeed it does you need to see the face April!" Logan was laughing of course Rory meant differently by the diaper statement but the face was hilarious
"The face?" April sounded confused
"You will see in time sis!"
"Of course" April said with utter disbelief
"How long are you staying for?" Rory asked as Logan was pulling her up again
"I have 2 weeks I'm staying with Dad"
"Looks like we got time" Logan said smirking at Rory. Rory just smiled sweetly back
"Time for what?" April asked
"The tour" Rory said her hands gesturing widely at the house
"Ahh the tour"
"After they go to sleep" Logan said "Aaaace" he said drafting out her name to make a point
"Lead the way" Rory picked up Richard as Logan led the way with Lia
"You can follow if you want or wait here Sis" Rory called from the stairs
"I'll wait" she responded flopping down on the couch. Rory nursed each baby before Logan settled them in the crib. They had separate cribs for them but had quickly worked out they slept better together
"Ace you kill when you do that" He said turning away from her and Lia. Breastfeeding was a real turn on for him
"We have a guest"she said knowing what Logan meant
"We could be quiet" he said sweetly
"Highly improbable. Finn heard at the bed and breakfast something about one of us moaning too loudly and saying things"She said point the blame at him when they were both guilty
"Our kids are going to be scared for life hearing our antics" he said still facing the wall
"Like I am with my Mom and Luke okay she's done you can turn now" She said getting up to put Lia to sleep.
"I love you Ace" Logan said to Rory making his way to their children and planting a kiss on Rorys temple
"I love you too" She said "Do we tell them a story?"
"I think they are out already" He said noticing the fact that the babies were already curled up and asleep. Instead he lead Rory out of the room and downstairs.
"You guys know you left the baby monitor right" April said
"Right" Logan responded
"And it was on"
"You heard" Rory said piecing it together
"Yup and I didn't need to know about my dad" April said wrinkling her face in disgust
"Likewise" Rory said joining April on the couch
"April do you want the tour?" Logan said
"Yes please"
Logan got Rory off her bottom before showing April around starting with the living room, kitchen, dinning room before the garden and then the upstairs. He saved the studies for last.
"Wow" she said marvelling at the floor to celling bookcases of Rorys study. There was even a fish tank on one of the walls. Pictures adorned each surface including the one of them with umbrellas. "Very strange pictures" she said pointing to it and then another with them in gorilla masks
